Despite my ask, he used chemicals and our brand new landscaping 24 hours later is dying rapidly. Also, our garage door has fading marks and paint chips all over it despite being freshly painted a couple weeks ago. It's going to cost me more to fix all the things he ruined than it cost me to hire him, so please do yourself a favor and DO NOT HIRE!!! Go find another company that will keep their word. When Josh heard that we received a letter from our HOA threatening to fine us $1000.00 (in a home that we recently purchased) they immediately made an exception for us. Josh just finished (~20 minutes ago) cleaning our roof. OCD Power Wash Did an EXCEPTIONAL JOB!!! He was PROFESSIONAL and on time. They did the chemical wash and covered the shrubbery and plants surrounding the house with tarp that they provided. He also set up sprinklers around the house to wash off the chemicals. A few years ago I replaced my roof at great expense. I paid extra for better materials - that increased the warranty by 5 years - and selected a combination of roof tile colors to create a subtle, custom look. I knew I had to wait a while to let the roof work 'cure' before I arranged for pressure-cleaning. Enough time had passed, so I called the roof company to ask who they recommended to do the work. I didn't want to hire just any company. They gave me one company name - Hydro Pressure Clean. Ok, so I contacted a good company. So what did they do that was so different from other companies? 1. They came to our house and assessed the job to give me a quote. The quote came with an aerial shot of our house. Have you ever hired a company that used a drone like this? Not only did it serve to show us that they considered every part of the property, it also helps to document how everything looked. So if there was damage you'd have proof that something changed - and they have proof of any existing damage before they do the work. It's helpful to everyone. 2. They considered parts of the house that no other pressure-cleaning company ever did. Like the concrete slab under the air conditioner. And the walls that had the beginnings of black mold. And the gutters. They provided a quote that broke down the work so I could select what I wanted - just the roof, roof and walls, etc. 3. Ok this is where they are ROCK STARS. We hired them to do everything on the quote. What they threw in was pressure-cleaning the area rug in the backyard - that I left for them to remove, since they move all furniture - really! I was readied to replace the rug, thinking it was beyond resurrection. They did such a great job that the rug looks new! It stays! They covered our vegetable plants in the middle of the backyard. They could have said it's not near the walls so it's ok but they respected how hard we've worked on our plants and they protected all of them. They were backlogged so our communication/work day was delayed - so they pressure-cleaned all the pavers surrounding a large garden bed gratis. They cleaned all our windows. Even the transom window above the front door. They use a detergent that doesn't make the air smell like bleach. When they left, everything smelled good. They were clean and thorough. They moved everything back to where they were. They were courteous and WONDERFUL. We plan on continuing to use their service. And like the roof company, if anyone asks us who to consider to do pressure-cleaning, we have one name on our list. Hydro Pressure Clean.
