So originally this place had been great. Great customer service, polite people on the phone, and all the works. The customer service sadly does not outweigh the lack of skill. When you first walk in you are hit with this sense of professionalism and luxury. Once the lady had seated me and began working my friend had followed since no further instruction was given except to follow her. As she worked on my nails she sent my friend to get the specific type of nail polish and seemed to get annoyed when my friend had no idea what to grab even though she gave her no instruction. Both me and my friends have gotten acrylics and they were OK. The French tip was very uneven and my friends nails broke after a few days. overall OK experience and nice people but not great but good. read more

If I could give no stars I would. It started with the bathroom there was urine on the floor. When I was getting my pedicure she pulled out the cheese grater and it was NOT cleaned. I mentioned it and she was passive about it. When I was getting my pedi the lady that came in for a mani sat down at a station that was not cleaned with pedi shoes on the ground. Then she cut me while giving me a mani and I kept bleeding and she over charged me for my manicure! read more

Came in for a no-chip manicure and 4 days later, multiple nails chipped. This doesn't happen at any other salon I've been to when I request a no-chip manicure. It is really unfortunate because I am out of town for an event so there is no way I can get it fixed. My nails should definitely not be chipping/lifting with a no-chip manicure after such a short time for how much we pay. They always seem to be in a rush as well which possibly is why the quality is not good. read more

I recently took my mother here for a basic manicure on her 67th birthday. She has MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and because of her disability she is in an electric wheelchair and unfortunately does not get to go out and enjoy simple pleasures such as manicures as much as she use to. I live in New York City and do not get to see her as often as I would like so this was a very special occasion for us and we were excited to celebrate her day together! Because it is hard for my mother to get around and she has to preschedule a special accessible ride for herself I only chose this salon due to its proximity to the restaurant we also went to and the shopping. Legacy Village was a good choice because it did not require us scheduling multiple rides for the day. Her disability makes it more difficult for her to get around but Despite her mobility she is Fully Functioning and Cognizant !!!!!!! The nail tech assigned to her rushed thru her manicure, took NO care whatsoever in the work, and didn't attempt to ask her of her preferences or make her feel comfortable. I picked out 1 color option and brought it over to show her but told the tech I would continue looking at other options. By the time I finished looking at other polish colors for her, he was finished. I have manicures frequently and suffer from no disability. I have never had a manicure that was done that quickly for myself so I knew that there was no possible way he had done a sufficient job in that amount of time. One of her hands does has a tendency to curl a bit but this should not have stopped him from getting the job done. This simply required him to take a little more time and hold her hand (which is completely painless for her and there is no resistance in doing so). He refused to put in the ounce of extra effort and care to properly finish the job and tried to send her off with nails that were Poorly Shaped (no real shape at all), still had very Rough and Sharp Edges, and EXTREMELY SMUDGED polish on nails and polish all over the skin as well!! on BOTH hands!! He did nothing to make sure they dried properly and instead told me to come and hold her hands and blow them as if I worked there. My mother said she did not even receive the massage that was included or soak her nails. After seeing the work and asking for them to fix the mess they made I was told I would be charged more money for them to fix and repolish. Wanting to ensure my mother had proper nails l, I ended up sitting down and doing the job myself. I refused to let these people ruin her birthday and embarrass her. I ended up Shaping out the nails myself, removing the polish and re-polishing. They were not happy about this and tried to insist I leave to go home and do this on my own time after I had already paid for the work. The woman practically tried to kick us out but seemingly didn't want to make a scene. I explained that unless they wanted to issue me a refund I was not leaving until we were happy with her nails and since they refused to correct it (and refused a refund) I took it upon myself to get the job done. I refused to let my mother leave the salon looking that way. It took me no time at all to do what he should have done to begin. Regardless of her disability you are providing a service and if the customer is not happy or satisfied with the service then it is your job to make sure they are. Take pride in your work as it is a reflection of the business as a whole. I have no idea how that man could have felt in good conscious that he had completed the job as described. Clearly he cares nothing about the job or the customers.. just making the money. They should be ABSOLUTELY ASHAMED of themselves for the blatant discrimination and lack of respect and compassion. Despite all of this I was still even nice enough to leave him a very small tip and remained calm while speaking with them. His work would have been rewarded even further had he actual done his job but he did not even do the bare minimum. I send my blessing to them. I pray that they or their loved ones never have to experience this type of treatment. Not even a blind person would have been happy with the disgrace he tried to pass off as a "manicure". I am mortified and utterly disgusted that they would embarrass and discriminate against a disabled women of color (on her birthday) in this way. I will never return to this salon and will be putting in a report to Legacy Village as well as the state of Ohio and the BBB. ( I did not think to take a picture of his work at the time but wish I had done so .. my only priority was making sure my mother was happy and getting that mess cleaned off of her as quickly as possible. My end results left me less than enthused! The shape of my nails were all off and they looked like she used too much polish! However, maybe it was just old. All I know is when I said the shapes of the nails look weird. She responded rudely and walked away. I won't be back after being away for months... I can't find a decent nail tech to save my life!! I came here with a friend of mine after lunch. My friend regularly gets her nails done at this salon and has a nail tech she regularly works with. I haven't gotten my nails done at a salon in over 4 years. So this was a real treat for me. The salon was clean, and all employees were wearing masks. Social distancing guidelines were being followed and we had our temperatures taken prior to our services. Even though we were walk-ins, my friend and I were both serviced quickly. I had a dip powder manicure and my nail tech was very thorough. My cuticles were cleaned, my nails were prepped and they look fabulous! My only thing I would request next time, is that my nails aren't dipped into the same pot that other clients have had their nails in (for sanitation reasons) If there is a way to pre portion the powder so each client has fresh powder that would be awesome! read more

Terrible salon. I was charged $80 for dip and didn't ask anything crazy, just shaping my nails and a plain red color. I was definitely overcharged for no reason. Rushed and missing services. No massage. No lotion. No top coat no base coat. Soaked for one minute. Opened instruments on start of service that were simply washed and returned to caddy within minutes after use. When I asked why I did not receive services, I was ignored and when I spoke to the manager, also ignored. When I reached out to corporate about my concerns of cleanliness and lack of care and customer service- it was implicated that I was a liar- the customer service representative had inquired with the manager (who had not helped me originally) and that services were provided and that cleanliness was up to state regulations. Good, but avoid technician "Lihn" - the girls in our family have been there lots of time, always a good experience. I recently had a gel manicure with Lihn. She finished the entire thing in under 20 minutes, we left for a trip out of town and most nails began peeling w/i 3 days. I called the owner, who said to come back and they will redo them. When I went back, Lihn argued with the owner that she had not done the nails originally. Unfortunately, I was again paired with Lihn, who was clearly annoyed and rude, tried to do only some of my nails (using a color that did not match) and when I asked for matching paint, she loudly and rudely sent me back to the front to wait. The appointment started off well, they squeezed me and my boyfriend in for pedicures on Valentines Day, but two things made me decide to never go back. 1. My boyfriend wanted polish on his toes (because hey, hes paying 49$ he might as well match me and get some sparkle) and his nail technician at first told him no but after some persistence she did, but a terrible job. Spots are missing on his toes, completely not painted, and I think part of the shotty job was because she felt "weird" painting a boy's nails. 2. My left big toe is now infected and extremely swollen and painful. Everything I found online pointed to a lack of complete sterilization of the tools as the cause of this. read more

I enjoy coming every time I have. The experience is always so pleasurable! The location is really nice and inside the space is so beautiful. If you like Bridgerton you'll like it, it's decorated in a regal, classy style. All the furniture is comfy and it's always clean. The staff is very nice and friendly and super helpful with any questions or concerns. Regarding service it was fabulous. I had Kim and she was amazing! She always checked and asked me my thoughts before proceeding with anything. She made sure I was good and was quick and efficient. She's super skilled and even when I accidentally hit my nail she fixed it quickly and my nails look amazing. In addition she informed me of any charges and changes before performing them which I personally appreciate. Overall it was a great experience and I'll be coming back to book with her! read more

Honestly it's hit or miss here. I've had some great serviced and I've also had to say "NO! Unacceptable. Take this off." While I am very particular about my nails and feet are polished, it's their job! If I'm paying an additional $20 for gel on my toes (more than the cost of an entire bottle), I'd like it to be neat. There is a guy by the name of Tim who polishes meticulously. They do need to update the color choices though. read more

I read a previous review on this salon charging random/different amounts to people so I was weary, but went because the location was convenient. Sure enough, a nail dip manicure costs $40 (even according to their booklet at the cash register) but I was charged for $60. When I asked them to go back and change it to $40 (and noted to them that I read a review that they did this), I got panik from the workers on why there was an the extra $20 added somehow but got this: because "they don't have prices online for that reason". 100% shady. They have a price booklet at the cash register that CLEARLY states a dip is $40 but I still got charged $55 because adding "dip" to a "dip manicure" and "a shiny coat" costs $10 more (when I never had any sort of option but those shouldn't be add ons because a dip manicure = shiny nails)?.... Never will I ever return. If a business can't be consistent, they will never be trustworthy. read more

I came with white acrylic and he put clear acrylic over it :/ he assumed I meant white gel polish when asked what color I wanted. I thought the white acrylic was obvious sign. Moving on, the polish was put on sloppy and the SHAPE WAS TERRIBLE. I had to go home and fix the shape myself. This is not my regular salon but I'm going on a trip & thought, "This salon is in legacy, it can't be a bad experience." Let me start by saying I really wish I could give a better review here. I have gone here for gel mani/pedis several times and the level of service is very subpar. The technicians are rough, the appointments made in advance are not treated with any priority and the manager is consistently rude - as if he's doing you a favor to ask what you're there for. Also - don't go by their hours, they close at 8 but that does not mean that you can walk in at 7:02 and get a 30 minute manicure service. I thought I'd try this place one more time because it is close, but I will gladly never return and happily drive out of my way to be treated nicely and receive a good manicure. read more

I feel it would be a disservice to my fellow Yelpers if I tried to make my experience here sound any better than it was and give this salon more stars than it deserves. I've been testing out nail salons in the area for the best dip manicure. I visited another salon recently and paid almost double what I paid here, but I am willing to go back to that salon and pay double instead of waste my time and money here again. This salon runs like a factory. They are very efficient at getting people in and out. I arrived five minutes after they opened along with about 10 other people, and we were all seated within five minutes. Have to give them credit for efficiency. The manicure itself was totally fine until the last step. I was thinking to myself the whole time, wow this will be my new salon! Efficient, don't need an appointment, and affordable! Then the tech pulled out her LED light. Then she pulled out her gel polish. I've had a lot of dip manicures by a lot of different salons, and I've never seen someone use gel polish during the dip treatment. Her final coat was a clear gel coat. So she just spent an hour dipping my nails, and then just applied gel on top of it. I thought to myself, oh wow maybe this is a new technique I haven't seen before. It wasn't. I don't know if it was lack of knowledge, laziness, a technique specific to the salon, or what, but gel does not go on top of dip. Dip is a skill, I totally get that, and I understand not everyone is trained in it. But if you're not trained, maybe you shouldn't be offering it as a service. My new dip manicure that I paid $40 + tip for was peeling by the next morning. Over the past week, each finger has started to peel back and chip off. I've had dip manicures last five weeks before, this couldn't even last five days. I thoroughly read Yelp reviews before coming here, and should have taken the advice from them and not wasted my money here. hugely disappointing experience here today. I've been a patron of this spa for a couple years, and had a dip manicure yesterday in preparation for an event today. my dip manicure was performed last night at about 5pm, and this morning after a shower, the top coat is just peeling off. things happen, and I have never had to come back after a manicure to have a correction before, so not a big deal. first thing - the website for this location says it opens at 9:30. I come in and explain the situation, and the man at the desk first states "well we aren't even open yet." (for context, it's 9:40am and there are 10 clients here - seems very open to me.) I was not met with a "I'm so sorry that happened", instead, I am told, "well there is no one here to fix this." so I say, "okay, when will there be someone that can fix it?" - gentleman says "I don't know the nail techs do not have a schedule." I then say, "I need this fixed, so you'll have to figure something out. can I go to your location on chagrin blvd?"- I am then told that magically I can wait and someone will fix it. I think I paid $55 (and a tip of $15), for a service that did not even last 24 hours. not even 12 hours, but who's counting? not worth your time to go here - customer service is part of what I thought I was paying for, I was sorely mistaken. in my experience this quality issue was a fluke, but if I am met with resistance to have it amended, I will not continue to come. read more

My nail tech, Kate was patient with me and let me test several colors. She showed me popular wedding colors and ended up mixing two colors to get this beautiful finished product. I'm new to town and this was my first nail salon experience in Ohio. It left much to be desired. I went in to get my dip powder nails removed. She used the dremel tool to remove most of the polish and then had me soak my whole hand in acetone. She then used tools that were not out of a clean container and cut my cuticles twice. One was so bad she had a hard time stoping the bleeding. Super fun. I asked for a manicure to replace my dip but she suggested just clear polish because my nails were so thin. The file she used left my nails jagged and they caught on my clothes. I had to come home and re-file my nails. She also left leftovers of my red nail polish all over my hands. I got the courage to ask her to fix that and she claimed she didn't even see it. I have very light skin, it wasn't hard to miss bright red all over my hands. So, to recap, it was $23 to remove my old dip powder nails and put clear polish on. I won't be back. There has to be another option in Lyndhurst. read more
