Disappointed... I've been here several times, it's definitely one of the more expensive salons, however, they have a ton of techs and it's a really nice upscale feel. I went in today for a tip with dip manicure and a pedicure. My pedicure looks fine, but I paid for a bit of an upgrade and the massage felt like someone was just putting lotion on, so that was the first bummer.The manicure was worse. First off, she chose a really wide tip for my pointer fingers so they look disproportionate to the rest of my nails. Secondly at the very end I noticed my nails looked really grainy/speckly... almost like you can see powder under the layers. When the tech asked me if I liked it I told her that it looked really grainy and I was expecting it to look like the sample, which was a flat color. She said it's the dip powder and there is nothing she can do and that sometimes the manufacture changes the powder or something like that? I get that it's not necessarily your fault if that's the case, but I'm ultimately not happy with my nails and wish there had been some sort of offer to change my color or provide a credit for a future visit. I think this was the last straw for me, time to find another spot. But if you don't mind over paying for mediocre quality, then it's a great spot! read more

Stopped by here today with no appointment for a mani/pedi. I've been here before during the week. I thought I'd have a long wait being a Saturday and with all the groups of customers in the front waiting area. I only had to wait 5 minutes. The others had appointments for their groups of 4 people. I asked my nail tech, Lynn how many nail techs were working today and she said 40 and during holidays it could be 50! Lynn did a great job with my mani/pedi. I had the Cinnamon Apple Pedicure. Nice experience because of the ambiance but I wasn't offered a beverage even water which I thought was strange for a luxury spa with a bar and the polish job is just really sub par. The edges and sides are so messy on every single nail. For a $50 manicure I expect straight and clean edges. read more

I had the cucumber mask pedicure. It was one the best pedicures I've ever had, complete with steam, paraffin wax and extended massage and includes a drink. Truly a spa experience. Mindy did a fantastic job. read more

Walked in with my daughter-in-law who had an appointment and asked about a mani/pedi for me. They were so accommodating and took me right back, including putting us in pedi chairs right next to each other! That, friends, is awesome accommodating! I wish I could remember the tech's name so I could give a shout-out! I asked for the Signature Spa Pedicure and the entire experience was so pleasant and relaxing. She cut down my toe nails, shaped them and then went to work with the shaving of the dry skin, massage, cuticle cleaning, etc. Their chairs are great and offer a variety of massage options. They also offer drinks (they have a bar!) and water. I then moved over for a manicure, just the Spa Mani and I don't do color on either toes or nails. The manicure was good, I wish my nails were a bit more rounded but I should have spoken up and didn't. Overall this entire experience was great. Shop is upscale, clean, with attractive décor. My daughter-in-law comes here on a regular basis and has a favorite tech she always works with. Great experience! read more

I asked for a gel french tip manicure, was pressured into doing a natural french tip which is fine. However the quality of work was MESSY, there is white paint on my skin around my nails, the French tip lines are crooked and not sleek and clean, the white bled into the rest of the nail. Overall unsatisfied. I had high hopes for this salon as it has generally great reviews and it looks amazing inside. The service was quick as a walk in. I took husband, my mother in law, and her sister up here and we all had so much fun! My husband doesn't normally come with me but this time he did and the lady was super nice and even gave him an extra massage since he wasn't getting polish like the rest of us. The service was amazing and everyone was so nice. The inside is beautiful and has such a relaxing vibe. There is also an alcohol option too. They also offer such an array of services from pedicures, to nail services, to lash services, and even waxing too! Hands down one of my new favorite spots!!!! read more

It's a nice environment and there is a good selection of nail colors. The gel polish lasts at least two weeks and they did a good job of filing my nails just the way I like them. But, both of the tech's that I've had are rough. The last one ran the drill into my cuticle (ouch!). Then when she was clipping my cuticles either she was rushed or her clippers were dull because instead of just clipping them, she would grab the cuticle and then yank the skin. I also felt that by choosing the basic service that the one of the tech's seemed annoyed. Even for a basic manicure it's a lot to pay for service that is sub-par. read more

Always easy to walk in and get services. They have several stations and employees. BUT I was very disappointed in my pedicure a few weeks ago. The guy cut one of my cuticles when trimming them and it kinda hurt. It still does. He then used the callous remover that looks like a cheese grater and absolutely gouged my big toe right on the area that touches your shoe. It was bleeding and he put (I'm assuming) liquid bandage on it which stung and didn't really stop the bleeding. It hurt so much I could barely wear shoes. I was about to be traveling and it definitely affected my travels because it hurt so badly and would get aggravated when I had shoes on. It still hurts a few weeks later and isn't yet healed. I know it was an accident but I've read other reviews with similar experiences. I also didn't appreciate being given pressure to have lots of upsells on my already pricy pedicure. It felt like I had to keep saying "no" several times throughout the pedicure. I don't like that at all. I probably won't be back, which is sad because I had decided this was going to be my go-to pedicure place because of the ease of getting in. It's not worth the injury to my foot and the possible infection that it resulted in. read more

I love this place and was sooo excited to finally come and relax at my favorite nail salon to get my nails cleaned up just before going on vacation. The colors were great and the service was great. Until I asked for a flower or some kind of design on my ring finger. Nothing too crazy but I am disappointed in that decision. I had a feeling as soon as i asked my technician was not comfortable doing a design. Instead of just saying no and that she didn't do designs she did 5 white dots and called them a flower. I can do what she did at home. I have an extremely disappointing experience here. I came in for a mani and pedi and pedicure turned out great but my nails are unacceptable, I did a basic design for my bachelorette party coming up and as she was doing it I did speak up as I could see it was going south, I recommend we change the design to nothing as that might be easier. But she kept going which make me uncomfortable. When I got home I had to fully remove one nail the gel was so messy on my skin. I honestly shouldnt have paid for this as it's unacceptable. Also, they really pressure you in to Venmo tips which is uncomfortable. They really need an option to tip on card in salon. I'm left with awful nails for my bachelorette party. I'm so disappointed. Below is my inspiration and what I got. I did ask if dip extensions would be better for the design and they said gel was fine. Keep in mind when I got home I had to re file shape my nails, get A lot get if my skin and really clean these up so I had something okay. Paying 100$ to have to redo a nail when you get home and rectify an awful situation is a bummer, don't go here. Additional information: They called me about my review, they did ask if they can redo them acknowledging the messy job, when I asked for a refund instead, they said it's company policy that they can't but checked with the owner, the owner then wasn't available and but did make it a point to say no refunds, with acknowledging the messy job I got. Before I made the appointment I made sure to let them know that I was getting my nails down for my own wedding event. Who runs a business like this. Insane. Why would I ever go back here? Last night I went into Anthony Vince after work to get a pedicure and manicure. This is not something I give myself often. I am a nurse, have a family, and rarely take time for myself. From the moment I was introduced to Mychael Tran it was stressful. I told him what I wanted and he tried to talk me into things I did not want multiple times, even after I said no. When he prepared my feet for the pedicure, he was on a phone call, put old skin and clipped nails into the water that was for my feet (instead of on a towel as most nail technicians do), and even made sure to get my attention to showed me how much callus he got off (which he then washed in my foot bath water!!). It was like he was trying to shame me. I told him I did not feel comfortable putting my feet back into the water and he then became extremely agitated. This may be too much information, but he placed a clipped hangnail on top of my feet ....and when I asked him why he did this, he said it was so I would know he removed them. It was bizarre. My experience with him doing my manicure was equally uncomfortable and he was critical of how short my nails are ( I am a nurse and this is necessary for my job) and made sure to tell me I had a hang nail, pointing out ever flaw. Mychaels hostility spoiled any feeling of relaxation I may have had in what was supposed to be a rare relaxing experience. I am writing this in hope that no other woman would have to go through this kind of experience when she is supposed to be relaxed and receiving a spa experience. read more

I know the lady who did my nails is somewhat new because she told me. I was concerned when she literally drowned my nail in the alcohol to remove my previous dip nail. Her sanitation was a little concerning and the whole time I felt like I was going to get some type of infection. Well, it's been several days since I've been there and my nails are starting to come off my nail beds. I am not sure what to even do right now. I have band aids to help with the pain. Never again. *** update: went back to the salon. The manager made the lady who did my nails the last time who I complained about attempt to fix them. Which I thought was super weird but again not surprised by that move. I got a paraffin treatment which didn't do anything. Several people examined my nails and yes my nails are still intact but it's deft off my nail bed so it's hopefully it doesn't get worse. I agreed with their plan in order to take off my nails they would have to use acetone again. So I will wait until my nail is strong. I just hope to god my nail isn't infected. I found it incredibly annoying that everyone was like we have to use acetone to remove your previous nail color. I Understand! I only get dip nails so I have done the removal so many times. This was the only time my nails were literally drowning in the acetone and she kept them on there for awhile. The acetone was literally filling the whole glove and a puddle came drizzling down to the floor it was that much. I feel bad the lady who did my nails was super nice but next time less acetone so it doesn't affect the whole nail/cuticle and beds of nails for really long periods of time. Will not be coming back after how they handled my complaint. read more

The techs are moody, pushy to get you in and out, talk and laugh amongst themselves in different languages about the women around them, and are very expensive for mediocre work. My first time at the salon. Good- was able to get a last minute appointment. Beautiful space, clean. Vibrant and happy vibe. Good massage chair. Bar and people were talking and laughing The service was ok. My nails look nice. Fair price. Not so great- I had looked at nail colors for less than 30 seconds and my tech came up to me and said, " are you done?" (I was not) but I picked two colors thinking I could get them both with one of them being an accent). There was an empty coke can at the chair where I was seated. I thought- great I can get a drink. But nothing was offered nor was a menu anywhere I could see. I asked several questions- how are you today/what's your name/ & something about the video screen. They were not answered so I had to assume that either she didn't hear me or didn't understand me. I just relaxed and was quiet while she worked. But it was disappointing to be in the midst of that happy vibe and to not be offered a drink and not to make any inroads with a social connection that would make me want to come back. She was rushing and did a sloppy job, -- the gel could peel off right now. My nailtech carelessly shaped my nails making them off-shaped(swiggly ) and THERE IS EVEN PIECES OF DUST PAINTED ONTO MY NAILS. FOR $45!? ANDD!!(there's more) -- she was literally doing the math of how much money she made right infront of me; after giving me a botched nail job. you know in San Francisco **the most expensive city in America** charges $35 for gel nails. I've been doing my nails for many years and maybe my expectations are too high but with-in a week of my appointment two nails were broken because the nail tech filed my nails too far in from the sides which left them weak and easy to bend. Usually with a gel manicure my nails don't break. After saying what I wanted she "forgot" to do that particular request. She was not paying much attention to my service; distracted by her colleague's phone. Her station was not very clean. And probably the most expensive nail service I have ever had. Terrible pedicure. I went in for a mani pedi. The pedi was great, up until the polish part! When i got up to leave I noticed they were part of my nails that weren't even painted.... I ended up hitting my toe on something from being rushed to get me to the next spot; and it had to be redone. And boy does it look awful. Definitely will not be going back for a pedi! My mani was good. My nails look great. However, I know I was kind of complicated because I was wanting five different shades of pink, and I had all my colors picked out but the girl who did my pedi, Took away the swatches that I had picked out so then I had to figure it all out again. Which is fine, they were trying to rush me and I could tell they were getting aggravated because I couldn't find the pinks that I had picked before. So i ended up just settling and choosing whatever. The service I received was above and beyond. Ly was incredibly kind to me when she heard I was long overdue for a mani and pedi, and that I had just lost my pet cat to cancer the day before. Not only did she make me a cat mani to honor my late cat Mochi, she even helped me pick the exact right shade for her eye color! It had been such a hard day for me but she had me smiling and laughing by the end of my appointment. The rest of the staff I interacted with also provided great service. I'm definitely recommending this salon to anyone in the area, and look forward to more nail art by Ly! The salon is beautiful and clean, no nasty chemical smells. What a fun 'girls day' idea! After having brunch at Bacon Social House, my friends and I came to Anthony Vince for mani pedis. Everyone was seated immediately, and some ordered wine from the bar to further relax while getting pampered. Customer service here is okay. The staff, including the owner, are professional but seemed to de-personalize the whole experience. My nails had been done recently, so I got a pedicure without polish but realized afterwards that they charged me the same amount anyways. Might as well have gotten my nail job redone. Ugh. Not a big deal since I already have my own go-to nail salon and didn't plan on coming back here. This is only my second time to this Spa. The first time was two weeks ago and the experience and final product was the best I had ever had. I wish I would have gotten the technicians name. Today, I brought my daughter in for her birthday and we were rushed from the very beginning of picking out our nail polish. We had just gotten there for our appt and had about 2 minutes to pick out our polish. When we got to the seats, the pedicure was fast and furious. When I was asked to put my foot back down in the water, it made a small splash and Ruby told me to slow down even though she is the one who pushed my foot into the water. After the splash, Ruby did not address me again. She spent the rest of the pedicure she spent talking to a coworker that had and sat beside her. We were done with our pedicure in 30 min. I will request a different technician the next time I come in. I'm so discourage. read more

They. Have. Wine. In the nail salon itself! I'm not talking about smuggling some vino in a to-go coffee cup. (Not that I would EVER do that. ) You walk in and there's a little wine bar. Talk about pampering. The salon boasts an impressive selection of nail polish colors. And the nail techs are friendly. The gentleman who did my dip manicure was a perfectionist and he had a great sense of humor. Oh, and did I mention that there's also a wine bar?!! Anthony Vince This place aesthetically is incredible. It reminded me a lot of Caesars Palace, it is very well done. A lot of people working there, they offer many different things such as pedicure, manicure, eyelash extensions, I actually can't remember anymore but I know they offer a lot. It's very clean and the people that work there are amazing, everyone in our group were pleased with the people that are working there, and the job that they did. I do have to say, what you pay for, what you get it seems to be more expensive than most places and they do less for the money. They do have a cash bar, they offer beer and wine. All I saw was one selection of red wine one selection of white. I love the idea but there was not much of a selection. Red wine was a cheap bottle ($8 for a small champagne glass). I did ask if I could buy a bottle for the group but they said they didn't sell bottles. All the wine is poured into champagne glasses which is very tricky trying to drink out of while your sitting in the massage chair (I suggested stemless glasses). I called the next day to let Nick know of some of the things that we talked about mostly likes with some small dislikes such as what you get for the cost of the service. Most of all I WOULD go back for the people, the service was great, and the place looks like Caesars Palace with the painted clouds in the ceiling, I love that! read more

Pretty disappointed with the entire service. I felt confident visiting based on the reviews and photos but this was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. Seven out of ten nails were bleeding and my nail tech said it's because my hands were dry. After telling her the electric filing on my cuticles hurt (because she did it repeatedly and they started getting raw) she continued to cut file and buff and had to put septic and a powder to stop bleeding on my nails. This was mainly what pissed me off but overall my nails did not come out looking like the inspiration photo I showed her after I was assured they could do the translucent chrome look. Between reviews, pricing, and the amount of people that were there (they were very busy), my expectations were much higher but I will never be going back. read more
