I, like many other reviewers, found myself in Colorado Springs with a vehicle maintenance problem looking blindly for a respectable maintenance shop. I had traveled from MT to visit my son for Thanksgiving week and got a referral from his co-worker. The co-worker raved about Anthony's Pro Auto and I found his opinion to be very accurate. Kevin took my call on the Tuesday afternoon before Thanksgiving and agreed to look at my 2007 Jeep Liberty that afternoon. He diagnosed the problem very quickly as a failed fuel injector, ordered the parts, and began the process of removing the failed injector. The new injector would not arrive until near closing for the day, so he promised it would be done the next morning. Keven called me at 9:30am the following day, Wednesday before Thanksgiving, to inform me the fix was completed and the Jeep was running properly. As you would expect, I was quite relieved to have my vehicle running properly again. Kevin is quite a character, quiet with short simple responses until you get him talking. Then he is very friendly, talkative, humorous and very knowledgeable in his trade. Rick, the owner, should be proud to have him on his staff. This is a great family-run business. Anthony works the front desk like the professional he is and when you talk to him you can tell that the gears are turning in his head to figure out how to diagnose your car's issues; and if he doesn't know the answer off the top of his head, he knows who to call to get the answer. This was my experience with him and his shop. I had a few things wrong with my car, that had to do with what happened to be the incorrect part that I put on my car during a DIY job (the aftermarket company had claimed that it was the correct part when I purchased it). It was causing a crazy vibration during acceleration. It took a few tries to figure it out because it was such a strange condition to diagnose. Long story short, Anthony figured it out and only charged me the cost of the parts. Because of his honesty, he saved me hundreds of dollars in labor costs. And in the end, he worked with his parts supplier to get me my next break job for free. This is a stand-up shop. It's clean. It's friendly. It's honest. Even when you go in for scheduled service, he breaks down all of the things that need attention in a color-coded fashion, and will let you know whether or not something really needs to be tended to, or can wait. Had a starter replaced, and it failed a few months later from a manufacturer's defect. They diagnosed it and had it swapped out the next day for no charger. They had been a good shop for me before, but today that ended. The original estimate was $405, then $510, & kept climbing, topping out at just shy of $928... Don't know it that was "with tax" or not. Oh, and even though they had the car since 9:30 am, it wouldn't be ready til the next day, because they hadn't done Anything by 3 pm - Wow. The car was drive-able at very low speed, & they tried to tell me I would "have to get a tow" if I wanted to pick it up. HA! I got it & drove it home (3 miles) just fine. BTW, I called another (independent) shop & for Everything, Including a free tow to their place, the "Out the door" price? Under $600. Never again will I go to Anthony's or recommend them as I once did. read more

Great customer service, very friendly and helpful. But I should have asked for an itemized accounting of the estimated cost before allowing them to repair my vehicle. The cost of the part that was installed was very expensive and although the quality of the part may be very good, the value of the vehicle did not warrant spending that much when a less expensive option may have been available. I was sent an estimated total for the repair but I assumed the reason the cost was high was because of the labor. I should have asked. I would recommend Anthony's Auto and if my vehicle needs further repair I would take it Anthony's Auto before considering anyone else. read more

Service is back in Colorado Springs. We just moved here and we needed a transmission flush. The owners at Anthony's make you feel at home with no up sell. They repaired my transmission and it operates like new. A week later my air bag light came on. I set up an appointment with Anthony but my vehicle would not start. So Anthony sent one of the staff to come to my home and jump start my vehicle. Within 5 minutes Anthony diagnosed the problem and installed a new battery.
