I wouldn't call the pieces here overpriced, since everything is well-made, and I've gotten some great unique items. I've also seen the petite-cut Seven jeans, and a couple other high-end department store pieces at competitive prices. And walking into any Anthropologie is like stepping into a retro-cool beach vacation house or something. It's always so calming, the decor is filled with cool apartment decorations and bath gels, and I always pull a handful of gorgeous dresses off the rack to try on. I love Anthro clothing. I have been an avid customer for many years! And the fact that the store is not even a mile from my house is icing on the cake. But I would just like to comment on its customer service. It basically sucks. Anytime I've called, I never get the friendly, resolving response. They put customers on hold, that leads to automatically disconnected lines. Poof. Gone. U call back, repeat. When you finally get someone on the line, they are rude, and too lazy to help. Yes, all of this happened to me today...w three different associates. Just lazy people who do not want to help. Utterly frustrating and disappointing when you need help. And this has nothing to do with COVID and less associates due to furloughs, layoffs etc. this is them ALL the time. read more

My wife place an online order for pick-up with this location and we went to their store 5 minutes before their closing time to pick-up our order and their gates were already down so customers could not enter. This isn't a good business practice and it shows that leaving early is more important than getting business. read more

I rarely write reviews for stores within a mall but this seriously deserved a glowing one. I went to the Natick Collection early on a Saturday morning just to browse. I didn't even realize there was an Anthropologie here! So stoked! First of all, their collection is vast. Second, their sale area is the biggest one I've ever seen. Neatly organized too, not a hellish free for all. Third, their staff was OUTSTANDING. I was carrying around 3 dresses, not a hefty load, but was asked politely 4 times if I wanted a fitting room started (by 4 separate attentive staff members mind you). When I finally did go in to try on my items the fitting room attendant wrote my name on the door, checked in frequently, and offered happily to go collect other sizes for me. This is standard fitting room protocol, I know, but this was done with much more genuine enthusiasm, friendliness, and class that any other retail store I've ever been in. What a great experience. AND I scored a gorgeous $150 dress for $75. Kudos Anthropologie! read more

You mean, I can dress up like Pam from The Office and spend tons of money to do it? Awesome! This store does have some really cute stuff, if you can sift through a bunch of the dowdy items. But the prices are a little ridiculous, and I've never had much luck with their sales sections. Nice for a splurge now and then. The housewares aren't anything exciting -- I don't need a turquoise door knob (that one's still a head scratcher). One nice thing is that the website puts some outfits together for you and makes it easy to buy the entire outfit. Great for lazy people like me. read more

Anthropologie is such a unique fun place, but so so expensive. The store is very organized considering the plethora of items they carry, and it smells so good in there. My mom and I are huge fans of their amber scented tin candles. The selection is always rotating in the back of the store clearance section. I wish I could afford it all, but it is cool to browse regardless. read more

If it was possible I would do zero stars. I actually loved this place until this past weekend... I am a seventeen year old girl, albeit slightly younger than this store's target range but nonetheless a viable customer. I've shopped there several times. Although I look my age, I do not appear trashy or "suspicious". This past Saturday night, my friend and I were sifting through items in this store. I was holding a headband in my hand while grabbing other items to try on. A salesgirl insisted upon taking the items to start a fitting room (par usual) and also taking the headband to hold at the front of the store (which I found a little strange). We both went into the dressing room, and I decided upon buying a black tank-top. As another girl was checking the shirt out for me, the original salesgirl angrily stormed out of the dressing room and began scanning a tag along with the black shirt I was buying. When I asked her what she was doing, she angrily accused my friend and I of stealing a headband, as a tag was on the floor of the dressing room we were in. We were both extremely confused and offended. Although we insisted that we had not taking anything (I was buying a shirt that had no sensor on it!), the girl would not listen and began to threaten to call security. Eventually I refused to buy the shirt and we walked out. The event ruined my entire night. I was extremely offended by the staff at this store. From the moment I came in, just because I was holding a headband while browsing, I was targeted as a thief. The girl proceeded to accuse me of taking a headband, based upon a tag on our dressing room floor. It actually made no sense, as she had insisted on holding the headband I originally had at the front of the store so I did not have it in the dressing room. While I am not trying to be politically incorrect, I am a wealthy, white girl - not the usual "suspect". Although I love their stuff, I will not shop this Anthropologie again. She just wrote to see if my daughter received the dress and if so, does she love it. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. It is a pretentious and overpriced store with policies that come across as elitist. My teenage daughter got a gift from this store and when we went to exchange/return it, we were told that they do not take returns and do not give merchandise credit. They said their policy is that you have to buy something of equal value or more. I, of course, assumed the manager had misspoken and said "you mean buy something of equal value or less." The manager said "no, you either need to do an even exchange or buy something that costs more and pay the difference." This policy is illogical. If the item is already paid for, and I exchange it for something that costs less, the company gets to keep the extra money and has actually made money on the transaction, but of course the point is that there will never be an item you can get for an even exchange so you will have to pay them more money. The manager also expressed this policy with a snobbery that reminded me of that scene in Pretty Woman. In my view, the store is for people who like to waste their money and care more about the name of the store than what they are getting. Many of the lesser priced items in this store were almost identical to things I've seen for less than $5-$6 at Michael's or The Christmas Tree Shop and they cost $12-$16. Since there was nothing in there that cost the same amount and/or was of interest to my child she ends up stuck with an unwanted item, because I am definitely not giving one penny to a store that has such a ridiculous anti-return policy as that! read more

Okay... what is a boring straight-laced guy doing reviewing a women's clothing store? Well, this is a place that I have to admit that I frequent whenever I'm at the Natick Mall (I will not call it 'Collection'). I find it a good place to find gifts that I can not find elsewhere for people... safe, neutral gifts as well as the more unique when I know specifics. The prices are a bit high on some items, but... hidden in the back is a clearance section (walk-in closet) largely comprised of the random accouturements about, and you can definitely find some bargains there. I've gotten an adorable duck creamer for my mother from here, some scarves, and a few other curiosities. The staff has always been friendly to me, getting the gift boxes automatically when I get to the counter. However, none of the people in my life are the type who actually wear the apparel there, but the other wares are always interesting. It's a good place to just meander every so often, since the selection is constantly changing. read more
