Hi Yelpers,
Today I would like to talk about Casa Trampa. It is a historic restaurant founded in 1882 in Vallvidrera the Barcelona's neighbourhood within the Collserola park, paradise for runners, bikers and sunday trippers.
Please don't expect a fancy, elegant place. Casa Trampa looks like whait it is , a typical catalan resturant with its hanging serrano hams, oldish black&white pictures, paper tablecloth and noisy dining room filled with regulars who know what to expect: delicious home-made Catalan cuisine.
Menu is filled with tasty traditional dishes such as the peas with jabugo (my favourite starter), the grand-mother macaroni, the stuffed farm chicken or the home-made meatballs. Most of the main dishes come with delicious home-made French fries. Oh! And you should not miss the excellent fruity sangria.
Service is efficient and prices quite reasonable (25€).
If you come to Vallvidrera you shoud not miss Casa Trampa! read more
