One of my local markets has been selling a sparkling mineral water from New Zealand but I've yet to buy it. They carry Vichy Catalan which is my favorite of all time and when I go to said market I always break down and go Vichy. I think next time I'll go for both. Now I thought that would be the first NZ water I'd purchase but it turns out I'd run into Antipodes at a recent meal.

New Zealand has both down as it's antipodal to a dozen or so countries. Alright Im digressing into scientific facts and definitions. Does that make their water any better? Im not sure but I know it tastes good. Though NZ is renowned for the purity of it's water. Good amount of carbonation, just a bit of minerality. Like many of my other favorite waters, it comes from a volcanic source, which gives it the minerals. I never thought I'd ever geek out about sparkling water but here I am. read more
