This is the place to be for Tillamook ice cream. Coffee almond fudge. Second choice was Marion Berry ice cream. 92 degrees outside. You duck in there, $5 for a single cone, sit in air conditioning , as if you were sitting at a old time salon. What is missing? Poker buddies. Two ladies were so nice. Sampling is allowed. This is probably the most interesting antique store in Jamestown. Generally you'll find older and higher end antiques at this store, than at any other antique store in town. (Even the building itself is interesting) The old wooden floors creak and crack as you walk upstairs, and the smell of coffee waft through the air. (Yes you can also buy coffee here too) They've got everything from furniture, to slot machines, antique signage to plates and glassware, a very nice selection. If you like antiques and are in town, you'll definitely want to look here. read more

I have been to this store many times, but my most recent experience there has soured me to ever returning. I went to the front counter to confirm the price of an item I had found in a bin marked $20 each. The person working the counter was extremely rude and made me feel as though my question was a huge imposition. My suspicions were confirmed that the item had been mistakenly placed in $20 bin. She spoke to me so rudely, as if I should have known the proper price of the unmarked item. When inquiring about another item, the person running the shop was so dismissive and rude that I left without buying anything. It is unfortunate, because I love antiquing all over Tuolumne County, but the degradation and disrespect I received at this shop makes me wish the place were in better hands. read more

Creepy and unwelcoming. I ordered a caramel iced coffee and received a plain rendition of this favorite with too much milk, not enough ice cubes, and a consistent and strange frown/stare from the cashier at my boyfriend and myself as we looked around at the antiques and waited for my drink. Totally turned us off from ever coming to Jamestown again. read more

I absolutely loved this store! There are at least 5 Antique shops on Main St. in Jamestown,and this one was definitely my favorite! When you walk in, you get this welcoming smell of fresh coffee. The owner has a little cafe right in the shop, which if you ask me is a great idea to lure people in. :) It's a two story, beautiful, and old building. It's a little overwhelming at first because there is simply SO much stuff to look at. But I ended up looking at it all. I honestly could've spent a couple hours in there if I wanted to. She had everything an antique collector could want. For me in particular I was looking for unique bottles and Mason Jars. And she had them so I was very happy! Obviously some of the stuff in there was rather expensive, but the owner sells other people's collections, and I don't think she prices it all herself. Most of it is very affordable, depending on what you're looking for. All in all, I loved this store and can't wait to go back again and find more treasures! :) read more

This is both an antique store & coffee shop roled into one. My mother, brother's girlfriend, & niece enjoyed looking arounnd at all the nicnacks while my brother & I sat down to iced coffees; he enjoyed his iced caramel & me my iced decaf vanilla latte as it was creamy, cool, full of sweet coffeeish goodness, refreshing on a hot summer day. The staff is very friendly & at $4.25 each, they are a large value for your buck. I also had some fun talking to a couple locals as they noticed my Giants' shirt & we talked about the team & how they are bay area expats, their family, & so forth. So, for some wonderful antique shopping, coffee, & conversation with friendly old world charm looking atmosphere, The Emporium cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys. read more
