I am fully in my antique shopping era!…read more I have mentioned in other antique/vintage stores reviews, that I recently started shopping for Uranium glass, so I'm constantly on the hunt now. While in Sonora visiting friends this past weekend, we decided to do some exploring of the downtown area. We stopped into Antiques Etcetera to see if they had any, and we definitely came to the right place! They had a nice display case full of Uranium glass, and it took me a while to decide what I wanted to take home, but I finally decided on a fun mixing bowl since I did not already own one - for only $40 too! Aside from the Uranium glass, they also had lots of items from Pyrex bowls (another favorite of mine) to different styles and sizes of jars to Fiesta ware and even a whole wall of cowboy boots! All priced pretty fair too! I felt overwhelmed in a good way looking at everything! The staff were also very friendly and offered great advice! Looking back at my photos, I should have bought more Uranium - at least I know where to shop next time we are visiting downtown Sonora! We'll be back! Check them out!

Came in here on Sunday with my family, and the nice young lady (I'm so mad at not being able to remember her name) was so sweet and kind. My mom bought an antique piece, and the shop owner and her daughter made it such a great experience. I can't wait to come to this spot on our next trip to Sonora 100/10!!!! The owner has crammed a lot of stuff into a super small area, so there is a lot to look at. The owner is very nice and chatty. From my understanding, I believe that the new owners kept much of the same vibe/ambiance as Rustic Roses, but they have added even more local artists and color to the store's whimsical displays. I stopped in here recently.The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and welcoming. He was helpful whenever I had questions about their inventory. I didn't have much time to browse, due to time constraints, but I did spy a plethora of fun finds during my brief visit. I ended up purchasing a 'soft edged arrowhead shaped piece of what I believe is jade strung on a cord' necklace. The gentleman behind the counter (who I believe may be one of the owners) explained that a local family makes the necklaces and that they bring them by the store to be sold. Many of Rustic Rose Mercantile's showcased jewelry artists are local. Jill King is one my favorite local jewelry artists - and she has a stunning turquoise necklace being sold here - along with her other well crafted jewelry pieces. In addition to a plethora of local and vintage jewelry items, Rustic Rose Mercantile has decor items, clothing, candles, antiques, crafts and much more. Everywhere you look inside this spacious spot - you'll find something new. They even rent out a decent sized portion of their store to a local comic book seller/collector.
