Thus began an effort that lasted about 9 months. Separately, we each visited some vendors and found them polite, but we weren't getting anywhere, and frankly, most didn't have a great selection and didn't seem to understand what we wanted. And then, I visited All About Flooring and initially looked through a vast amount of samples, and took home many, their selection is very good, but still wasn't making progress until the owner, Becky Griffith, noticed my disappointment and decided to become involved. She took on the challenge. Becky was relentless in attempting to help us find the right carpet. She finally contacted some of her carpet reps and showed them a piece of our old carpet. And, Bingo... they came up with a sample that was acceptable in geometry, but the color was not. Not an obstacle for Becky. She arranged for another sample with colors more to our liking. And, finally...success! The carpet was ordered and installation was scheduled. Installation was somewhat difficult and problematic and a few things had to be reinstalled. Not an issue for Becky. She even came to our house with the man who did her measuring to discuss a solution and to make us comfortable and as she said, "I want you to be happy". Her crew, Matt and Levi returned several times to "to make things right" without complaint. All About Flooring went the extra mile...actually, it was more like 1,000 miles to satisfy us, and I can sincerely say, I think you should not hesitate to use them for your flooring. For instance my bathroom was a converted front porch done by a previous owner some 50 years ago. So we faced the challenge of original windows, exterior walls on all sides, original sloped floors and ceilings. I must say I am completely blown away by the quality of work and attention to detail that has been given to my bathroom. I will admit the job I have is a tall order as I wanted all new windows, the shower surround replaced with tile, the floor to continue from the tile in my kitchen and backsplash around the vanity. The bathroom floor leveled and new lighting. I've had other work done to my house before and for once I've gotten what I paid for. I would definitely recommend Tile Yoda to anyone interested in quality tile or remodel work. You won't be disappointed. Will be calling them back to remodel my kitchen next year.

It needed a refresh, a couple fixes (for example where the builder had put wall paint on one ceiling), and we wanted a slightly different color. Izzy quoted us a fair price for the labor and used her contractor's discount to get paint and other supplies at wholesale. Most importantly, she did a very good job with great attention to detail, including in a tricky stairwell and keeping the wall and baseboard/trim paints very well separated. She kept us informed of progress and alerted us to a couple of issues that arose during the project. She made helpful suggestions. She finished the project on time. We would recommend her and would use her again for our future paining needs.
