This floor installation has been a horrible experience for us and has gone on for four months now. All we set out to do was to replace carpeting in one room and hallway with Mohawk LVP. First installation - we not only had unexplainable shiny spots across the floor, but we had shoddy workmanship with the moldings, nails sticking up out of the transitions, and major dust in rooms that weren't even being worked on. As time went on, more shiny spots appeared on that first floor, and we agreed to begin again with new flooring. We had no choice - we were told Mohawk would not reimburse us; only replace the faulty product. Once again, we moved out most of the furniture, took up the carpets, took down the curtains, and covered up all of the pictures on the walls. We were absolutely horrified to once again find very evident shiny marks on this second installation of flooring. They will not come out, and rubbing at them makes it worse. All of that time, energy, and work for nothing! We still have distracting shiny marks on our brand new $2,500 floor! Not only this, but we had all of the added work of having to wipe down all of the freshly-painted walls that had once again gathered noticeable dust. I had to paint all of the moldings that were damaged during the second installation and also paint the quarter-round. And, once again, the transitions were nailed down with sharp nail points sticking up out of 5 of the 6 transitions! How can this be deemed a durable product? What if it were in a dining room? How could this floor possibly hold up to the wear and tear of a heavy dining room table and chairs moving constantly across it? We are so very disappointed. At the very least, we do not believe we should have to pay for this shoddy product. All About Flooring is passing the buck to Mohawk. They will not stand behind the product they sell. read more

Purchased a Karastan from these folks, who had to come out and replace the carpet because within 4 months it was already starting to mat down...the replacement again has started to mat down ... we were told that going barefoot on the carpet was bad for the carpet!!! which we rarely did anyway..however you should be able to go barefoot on a carpet for crying out loud and this is not the first carpet that I have owned!!! I am still trying to get the carpet replaced. You would think a Karastan that you pay alot of money for would stand up to it's guarantee!! read more

Do not trust these people. We worked with Norman who when specifically asked if the engineered hardwood we were picking would hold up to dog claws he said absolutely. And then after the fact, when there were problems said he didn't say that. Not willing to help us solve the problem at all, now we have 6 month old floors with scratches throughout. read more
