My favorite! I always find something. Sometimes it's in clothing, sometimes pursues, sometimes…read morehousewares or decor, sometimes books, but I never leave without finding a good deal. You might have to dig through somethings, but it's not too bad. The place is well kept and the people who manage it (I think they are all volunteers from the church?) work hard to keep the place in order. There is flow to the merchandise, with areas broken up by department. New donations are coming in on a regular basis. Every time I go, which is often, I see new donations being dropped off or being sorted and priced. The staff/volunteers are always so pleasant. It's a pleasure to shop here. It's never too crowded with customers, but there is regular customer traffic that keeps the store moderately busy. Prices are fair and around Christmas, they set up a room with Christmas specific/inspired merchandise. Kudos to Red Door!

I think that this is a flaw in the system, especially for my grandma who has a hard time moving all of the things that she needs back and forth without assistance. Fortunately, they were open, and we were able to drop off all of the things we needed to successfully. I really held back from writing a bad review, but after everything I went through, I feel like I…read morehave to share my experience. I bought a gold chain from this jeweler, and within six months it broke on me more than five times. Every time, I brought it back to the same place that sold it to me. At first they repaired it, but then they started charging me and blaming me for the chain breaking--even when it snapped in the same or similar spots. When I asked about swapping it for a different chain, the owner offered to buy it back for less than half of what I paid, using the repairs they did as the excuse. Not only did they refuse to continue repairing it, they tried to convince me it was my fault and expected me to pay for every fix. They didn't offer a replacement, a fair solution, or even take accountability for selling a faulty chain. The last time I went in, the chain had just broken again and only needed a simple solder. I was quoted over $40. I walked out disappointed. I really thought this was an honest, trustworthy place, but instead I felt misled and taken advantage of. Since then, I found a new jeweler, inside a furniture store in Getty Square, of all places and they repaired my chain once. It's been at least six months and it hasn't broken again. The whole situation still bothers me enough that I finally decided to write this review. My experience was genuinely terrible, and I don't want anyone else going through the same thing.

I contacted this business on Yelp and Jerry was super responsive. I decided to go down to Main Street (I avoid this area like the plague bc it's so busy) but it was well worth the trip. His booth is inside a building with multiple businesses and his is on the left side about halfway in. It was a Saturday so it was busy. He was so friendly, personable and honest. They appraised my pieces with a very fair price, and took my rings with clear plans for these precious heirlooms. Then life intervened - I had a fall, and then surgery on my knee. The folks in the jewelry store were so patient! I limped into the store again on the 7th of May. My rings were so beautifully repaired, they took my breath away! I feel so fortunate that after almost 3 years, I get to wear them again. And we struck a very acceptable deal for the items I sold. Honest, professional, friendly. This family-owned shop will have my jewelry business from now on. I can't recommend them highly enough!
