My sister and I came here on a Friday morning right at 10 am. It was basically dead inside. I was surprised at the largeness of the building on the inside, it was definitely bigger than it looks from the outside. There is a lot of variety here, and the prices in general seem pretty fair. We surprisingly bought nothing (but we tend to be practical, thrifty people). It was enjoyable walking the aisles and seeing what we could see. The building was a little cold near the side walls, but maybe the heat hadn't warmed everything yet. Some of the staff was slightly friendly, not awkward, but they didn't seem happy to see you. With a huge space, ample parking, and wide variety of items, you're bound to find something to take home from Antiques Minnesota! As with many antique stores, each vendor has their own space. They seem to have a good amount of collectible toy items like legos. But I usually go for the old books and decorative pieces. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The store has % off sales every month or so, which they will email you about if you sign up for the mailing list. Definitely worth coming every few months to see what's new! read more

Big store with a lot of vendors. Nice aisles. About half of the items are in glass cases and it is hard to see some of the prices. Some vendors are way overpriced but some are reasonable. Staff isn't very friendly though. And you need them to open the cases. read more

Downtown Hopkins can't be beat. We love the feel of the old main street. This antique mall is a gem. It has a lot of vendors with an eclectic mix of items. While we look for mid century there are far older antiques as well. As with any antique mall prices vary by vendor. We can usually find a good deal here. Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful. They will help you find a specific item or just let you browse. i wanted to give no starts but have to give one star to leave review! I am a newer vendor at this antique mall, 4 months in, and have had two expensive rings stolen from my LOCKED case. Each ring was sale priced at $225.00. They were stolen just weeks apart from one another. The staff in charge basically said "oh well". If you are thinking of hosting a booth at this antique mall I would strongly suggest not putting anything of actual value in any case, locked or not! I am not being compensated and I'm expected to give a 30 day notice regardless of already being out the $450. We are pulling out our items and done dealing with crooks! Very sad!!!! read more

This is arguably the best antique mall in the twin cities. Excellent excellent antique mall! It's large, well curated, and has a diverse collection that should satisfy most of your desires. Prices were reasonable! The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. read more

If I could give zero stars to Antiques Minnesota, I would. Last night, I encountered the rudest employee I have ever dealt with in my life! When I walked in the store at 5:53 p.m., the female clerk sternly informed me that they were closing at 6 o'clock. I was well aware of that, and I told her I wanted to see an item in a display case that I had seen the day before. She snarled at me and said she was checking out another customer and I would have to wait. Of course I could see that, and I told her I could wait. Her attitude and tone of voice was so hateful and snotty, I couldn't believe it! Then she returned to processing the customer's purchase and she was so icky sweet to them I wanted to barf. She was giggling and making small talk like she had all the time in the world, and by now, the store was about to close. I finally got fed up and approached another clerk behind the counter for assistance. He was very pleasant and agreed to open the display case, and I ended up purchasing the item from him. After I left, I thought that the woman could've asked him to help me out in the first place! Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience, and I wouldn't recommend this antique shop to anyone. Customers deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect! That rude employee should be reprimanded for her disrespectful behavior. read more

This store is huge! They have a wide selection of items available, originally we came here because we saw they sometimes have classic cars available but that wasn't the case for the visit we made. If you're into old toys and trinquete collector this is the place for you! This store doesn't take checks. They claim they got ripped off once by a check-writer and so instituted a no-checks policy. On the flip side, they absolutely refuse to install one of those machines that can "OK" a check right there at the desk because it costs a little bit of money to do so. Here's a head's-up to the manager: your penny-pinching on the machine might save you literally "pennies", but is costing you "dollars" in lost sales. Even so, I do stop about twice a year just to see if there is anything of interest. Unfortunately, the merchandise does not turn over much, meaning there is even less incentive to return. I think a cool thing about this place is how huge it is. There's a lot of stuff and the displays aren't as overwhelming as a lot of antique stores can be. That being said, there was weird stuff going on when I went. There was an employee throwing a fit about working and saying something about how she wasn't even supposed to be working. I could hear her from the back of the store. Another thing was a different employee asked if I needed help finding something, but when I told her what I was looking for, she told me that everything in the store is spread out and anything could be anywhere. Every time I'm in Minneapolis. I reserve an afternoon to shop the aisles of Antiques Minnesota. There are regional differences in items you see in antiques stores around the country depending on the history of Mfg and different cultures in the area. I've purchased everything from Victorian buttons to art pottery to mid century ceramics at this store. Well worth a visit whether you're looking for pieces for your home, collecting something or just want to wind down daily stress by browsing cool things in a pleasant place. read more

One of my favorite antique stores! So many different vendors that sell everything you can imagine! The prices aren't half bad either!
