Cool store with unique items, but the woman at the front desk is incredibly rude. It is also very over priced. They ask 60 + dollars for old beat up records that you can get for 10 bucks at nail city record. I'd recommend the other antique shops nearby. read more

Three floors of antiques, art, doodads, knickknacks, tchotchkes and collectibles. I didn't see the vintage black mammy figurines that were behind a display case at the register until I was on my way out, and it made me feel kind of defeated. Do people still collect these kinds of things? In this, the year of our Lord, 2025? I guess they do, because here they are for sale. The whole rest of the store is a wonderful treasure chest of vintage gems. I saw so many things that I wanted to take home, including some old black-and-white photographs, but I resisted because my old-black-and-white-photographs-of-strangers-I've-never-met-and-places-I've-never-been is bursting at the seams. There is everything here, from jewelry and plates to 2Pac t-shirts and scorpion paperweights. The top floor of the shop seemed like it had some of the more modern things. Lots of globes, for some reason? There was also a space dedicated to art by locals. The whole store is quiet and well organized, not junky and claustrophobic like some antique shops. I loved loved loved the outside of this building. I can just imagine the good ole days when the street was busselling with shoppers. This is a lovely historical district. The antique shop was very nice but uncomfortably too expensive. I am assuming since located near a busy historical market they get quite a bit of foot traffic, but their prices were too high for my comfort level. This shop is made up of different vendors. It is laid out nicely and most of the booths are easy to get around in. Some are way too crowded so I didn't go in because I didn't want to knock anything over. I found a few little things and when I went up to pay... boom... the news that I had to pay with two separate checks! Checks??? Who still uses checks? They only take CASH or checks. No worries if you don't have any cash, you can get some from the ATM across the street... for a $3 service charge. Parking was convenient and you could use the parking app just in case you don't... insert drum roll here... carry any cash!!! Don't plan on being in a hurry. While the lady checking out my purchases was friendly, she was so very very slow.... even stopped to take a phone call. I was the only one in the place so I can't imagine if there were more people trying to check out at the same time! Definitely not worth a trip unless you already plan to be in the area and you are armed with cash or checks! read more

Well, I escaped this great store only spending about $200. Not bad as I bought some really unique printing typesetting stuff. There are two pretty deep stores that are attached to each other - and a second floor too. I really enjoyed this store and I thought that most of the prices were quite reasonable. Check it out if you are driving through the Wheeling area or simply just hanging around. read more
