And we always find a treasure to take home. Riverview Antiques is a spacious shop nestled among a line of similarly charming shops near the Ohio and Muskingum rivers in downtown Marietta. My wife and I love to start our river crawl at Riverview Antiques by the Ohio River, and gradually, shop by shop, make our way down Front Street until we can rest our feet and sink our teeth into homemade fudge at Favorite Things. Riverview is operated by knowledgeable gentlemen who really know (A) where to find cool antiques, and (B) how to present them in a store so that you feel like you're in a time machine and walking around someone's living room 100 years ago. And the prices are pretty good, too. Don't leave Marietta without checking them out.
