Even a few fresh breads to add to the meal. Some are in freezer others fresh behind counter which can be frozen. We stocked up today. I used menu listing to order. I asked Anthoni about the products. Seems the my menu needs to be updated but all the items I'd chosen were available. I got them bagged though bringing your own is appreciated. I was glad I had kept my old menu. Antoni Ravioli is making fresh Ravioli in their store right now. Since 1962 they are authentic Italian pasta right on Long Island. The same family have owned and operated Antoni for over 60 years. Just south of the Southern State Pkwy on Broadway on the west side about a half a mile down. They make their own gnocchi with no preservatives right on site also along with other popular pastas. Massapequa is the equivalent on Long Island along Deer Park, Howard Beach to little Italy I'm the Bronx or Manhattan. You can still find a cluster of old world Italian eateries and pasta. Not to waste a trip AS Pork store is just north on the dame block for Italian Deli. Francescos bakery is on Broadway also just a bit south. So if you need your Italian fix and don't want to travel it's all here in North Massapequa. That's Italian! read more

I have been going to Antoni Ravioli for over 35 years. Their products are always top notch. Recently I noticed that two charges that I made there were higher on my statement than their receipt. They said that they have instituted a four percent additional charge when a customer charges their purchase. They said that there is a sign on the cash register to this effect. It would have been better had they told me of the additional charge in person when I used my card. I am extremely disappointed in them for this. They have lost a very loyal customer. read more

Such a hidden gem I purchased the heart shaped ravioli's today. They are the best! The cheese just melts in your mouth. I'm usually not a big person on anything with coloring but whatever they used to for coloring had a real good taste to it. I will definitely be back! On a tip from a friend, I stopped by Antoni Ravioli on while cutting through Massapequa. First thing to note: Whether or not the actual address is on N. Bay Ave, the storefront is right on Broadway and the sign (seen in the pictures here) is hard to miss! The parking lot is small and slightly awkward. As I stepped through the door, I found a cheerful older gentleman. I mentioned that I heard he has the best ravioli around and he gave me a quick backstory of the place. They have been in business since the 60s! We talked Italy, imports, attempting to fly items back from Italy, etc. It was a fun, but short conversation, so don't worry about getting caught up and losing time. The case of ravioli, tortellini, and several baked dishes (stuffed shells, lasagna) had what I would consider the appropriate number of choices. Not too overwhelming, but enough variety that you could pick a mainstay and something interesting. I grabbed sausage ravioli, cheese tortellini, and (for fun!) broccoli rabe ravioli. I ended up making some of the broccoli rabe ones when I got home and they were delicious! Second note: The ravioli might seem small in the package, but they puff up considerably when cooked. I would say one package of 36 ravioli would feed 4 people if you have a side salad and other items on the table. (I ate half the package as my only item at the meal and was stuffed and feeling gluttonous.) I cannot wait to try the other kinds I purchased yesterday AND to go back for more! read more
