It's a much smaller footprint than I'm used to, but everything is easy to find. I skipped breakfast so I decided to purchase a buttered roll. This is a little bit of a nostalgia for me. The last time I purchased a buttered roll at the other Stuertz I couldn't find any butter on it. So I discreetly asked if there was actually butter on this one he said yes, but they have a measured amount. Of course, that makes sense I purchased it went to the car, opened it up and could barely find a New York Schmear. I'd rather they just charge me an extra $.50 and give me some butter on my buttered roll. That's the only downside to today's quick stop

Found out that they make breakfast sandwiches and only $3.55 for egg, cheese and bacon on a roll. Add to it the owner is great! It only makes me want to go there more often. Just nice I don't have to hop into my car or use an on-line shopping service for a couple of items.

Take advantage of the choices, especially at a great price. The store itself is very laid out, with your typical gas station products, milk, snacks, drinks in freezers, car auto parts, you name it. I find it to be well organized leaving no mess and anything item misplaced. This Stewart's does a wonderful job of keeping up on that. This location only has 4 pumps which will require some waiting when it is busy. The prices here can be a little higher compared to some areas, but the choice is up to you. Bring the fun!

I would stop here more often to get food and coffee but it's like they hardly have any at night after 6 or 7 and don't want to make it fresh if they're out and you ask for it, unlike other Stewart's locations. They're open til 11 so I get you're busy a lot of the time with people at night coming in for gas, beer, milk, ice cream, but a lot of us come to Stewart's for the hot food and coffee. I use to go to the one in Wurtsboro and they always keep it going all day and are fast to refresh. The one over by the Culinary Institute is keeping the food and coffee more refreshed all throughout the day so I drive a different way now from the start of Hyde park thru back roads to get from Poughkeepsie to pleasant valley just to go to the Stewart's there because the one on Dutchess turnpike doesn't keep enough food or coffee full and fresh. And there's more food options in the food warmers on display at the counter at other Stewart's locations nearby. If you listen to feedback, please put more hot food back on the counter and keep all the coffees full and fresh, and I will gladly come back to this location.

However, my experience that day was something out of the ordinary. When I generally come past, I don't find many cars in the gas lot. However, on Christmas Day's early evening just after nightfall, I was flustered and found this station to have every gas pump but one in use in relation to a comfortable angle coming into the stall to pump. I stopped in, used my GasBuddy card as normal (at the pay-at-the-pump-only transaction), ended up texting some of my family, and pulled out all without any problems. I know I made the mistake of choosing "no" when it came to deciding for a receipt but knew I'd be paying a lesser amount from GasBuddy's discount, so-chose accordingly. It was so busy that night when I came, I couldn't think straight and wasn't even noting all other things at this station - I wasn't thinking straight! Almost got side-swiped when another truck-sized vehicle decided to come past me before I pumped and was in my vehicle. Thank god he had a few inches between me and the vehicle parked in front of me (at the parking spots ahead of me).

Paper products, cleaning supplies, drinks and snacks, also a great smoke and vape product variety. They're also open to the idea of ordering products you want that they don't have if the option is available to them. Which I've found very helpful in the past. On top of the stock they have on the shelves these guys cook up some great food off their Deli menu. I recommend the wings. Overall.. Always love coming here. The food, selection, and conversation reminds me of the Bodegas I grew up going to on Long Island. Which makes this new guy in town feel at home every time.
