I'm not sure why this place is always so busy, because it is average at best. I've never had a sandwich that I thought was great. Today my Philly cheese steak was very bland - I think they forgot to salt the meat. Their chicken cutlet has also been lacking in flavor when I've previously ordered it. I order from here out of convenience since I live less than 5 minutes away, but I'm usually somewhat disappointed each time. Requested catering order Large Chef Salad $75, and Large Hard Roll sandwich plater $105 = $180. Received cold cut platter with about 5lbs of meats and cheeses, bag 24 small rolls, and an 8" Bowl chef salad (small) = $250. The quality of everything was very good but not what I ordered and cost substantially more. Being from out of town and providing lunch for a wedding party while getting ready at local hotel, I didn't have much option to change at that point. Very disappointed. read more

I called in an order so my husband could pick it up on the way home from Connecticut. My husband arrived home and to our surprise he was given 2 wrong sandwiches. I called to inquire what happened? The girl stated my husband asked for an order for the last name Panier. I stated that is not our last name so why would you give him the incorrect order. It's a good Italian deli the prices are maybe a little higher than some and lowers than others. If you want a decent deli sandwich go no further. Clean, friendly, well stocked with the best deli goodies you can imagine. They make a mean sandwich and that's what I need sometimes. read more

This is the best deli, I have tried them all in this region and this is a shining 6 star place! My favorite is the foot long Italian sub.

We really like the food from this place, which has a sandwich menu, hot or cold, that is hard to beat in the Newburgh area, and the prices are quite reasonable as well. My issue with them is their hours-it might be time to just say you close at 3 and not the 5:00 you list on your website or the 4:00 on the front door. If you really don't want to be making food up until what is listed as your closing time, change the hours where they are currently listed, cause there's nothing worse that getting your hopes up for something and being told they are no longer making food 90 minutes prior to their advertised closing time. Their sandwiches rival anything you find at the chain delis in this area, and their customer service is exemplary. Went to Noto's Deli and ordered a sausage egg and cheese,the girl working the grill had gloves on and she kept putting her hands on her face and around her mouth while making my sausage egg and cheese sandwich, then she took her gloves off and continued making the sandwich with no gloves on.Very unsanitary and gross I didn't eat the sandwich, I had to throw it out. From now on I will go to the deli across the street his deli is clean and his prices are cheaper. read more

Hate to do this, but lunch was not as ordered My daughter ordered Ruben without sauce and kraut. and I order a burger med rare. The order was read back correctly, but not prepared correct. The burger was well done and the sandwich had sauce and a trace of kraut. The sandwich maker needs to read the order notes. read more

We usually love this place. However, we went there yesterday afternoon to pick up subs to have for dinner. An Italiano and a Roast Beef Special. Italiano was great, as usual, but I had the roast beef, and they put half the amount of meat that they usually do (maybe 1/2 inch high in the middle), and it was dry, very well-done and had long gristly stringy things I had to pull out of my mouth. Gross. My thought (since they use Boar's Head) is that they used up the very end of the roast beef piece for my sandwich. When you are charging $11.50 for a sandwich, you DO NOT use the very end, well-done, tough piece of meat (unless someone asks for it). If I go back, I will ask to see the piece of meat first. But shame on them for passing this cardboard off and charging for it! read more

This was only my second time getting anything from this establishment. The only reason why previously was it was always hard to get into this place in the past especially on a Saturday at lunch time. We were having a small party and decided on some antipasto items and assorted sandwhichs to be delivered. I dealt with Kim the catering manager and she took my order and everything arrived on time as requested. The antipasto (salami, pepperoni, soppressata, mozzarella balls) were very good - had very little left over. The sandwhichs were also very good. I ordered two Poppa Joe Subs and while the bread was great and the meat was great I had kind of hoped for a little more meat and lettuce, tomato & onions - it was just enough but I would have preferred a little more meat and veggies. I also ordered a Rueben Sub with Corned Beef and Pastrami combined but it didn't appear to have thousand island dressing or sauerkraut. It still tasted good but it wasn't what I was expecting. I also ordered some roast beef and fresh mozzarella subs and the mozzarella was sliced very thin - not what I was expecting for fresh mozz. I still would order from here again as their sandwhichs were tasty and they have a nice selection. read more

Stopped in here for lunch with my son after his hockey game. We were really set on having hot pastrami sandwiches...so we found this place which was just a couple of minutes away from the rink. The place had its own parking area, but it's small. Just about 4 spots in front. Don't recall seeing anything on the side of back. But wasn't looking since I got the last open spot in front. Friendly people, they took our order and told us to have a seat and they'd bring it out to us once it's ready. The sandwiches were big! Almost more than I could eat. My son couldn't finish his and ended up wrapping it up and bringing it home. At about $7.80 a sandwich it's not cheap, but you definitely get alot of sandwich for your money. Also grabbed a cup of coffee on the way out for the drive back to home to long Island. Not bad coffee either. Good experience here! Would definitely come back if ever I'm mack in the area. read more

i went here 1/10/17 and beforehand, its always great here. i got the Italiano here and it was fresh and made perfectly. i asked for no tomatoes and i got no tomatoes. love how they slice the meat so thin its like paper, its also great how they really stack the meat in the sandwich for the price you pay, you get your money's worth. other delis would charge the same and not come close to this place and service was fast. i tried their breakfast sandwich before which was the breakfast Philly and it was so yummy, steak and eggs for breakfast. all in all, i enjoy this place. i had their brand of lemonade and it was tasted sweet and fresh, while having my sandwich. def a place for a good cold cut over a pizzeria cold cut. read more

Went here recently with a friend for an egg sandwich. We showed up at 12:10pm on a Sunday and was told they don't serve breakfast after 12pm. On a Sunday. Really? Then when we wanted to order our sandwiches, we had to wait until the cashier was done texted her friend. Obviously, customer service isn't a high priority here. When we finally got our sandwiches, the bread was stale and there was very little meat inside the sandwich. For what they charge, the expectations were way higher. This Deli is a hidden gem. If you want a quick sandwich, then this deli has it all, outstanding quality of ingredients, and a large choice of italian foods and drinking products. One simply has to call and your food will be ready for you in a matter of minutes. This place also offers a sandwich reward card. After each purchase they punch a new hole in your card after 9 meals you get a sandwich free! For folks that work around the area and pick up food frequently I see no other deal as good as this one. Noto's Italian Deli is absolutely delicious. I catered from Noto's for a large party and ordered a variety of dishes. Italian sub, chicken ala noto sub, pene ala vodka, chicken parm, sausage and peppers, and chicken francese. Every dish was delicious. As an Italian American, I can whole heartedly recommend Noto's for their true Italian taste. You will not be disappointed. Their service was great, they arrived at the time requested and the dishes were all hot as requested as well. Their cold cuts are great as well. If you're looking for lunch sandwiches, hot or cold, go to a Noto's. Their hot plates are great too. The owner is very sweet and personable. 10/10! read more
