We were looking for a restaurant we hadn't tried. Maurizio's. It's easy to zip past it if you're…read morenot paying attention. First, shout out to Gwen and Lailah. They were helpful explaining the many pizzas offered. They were detail-oriented making sure we were comfortable and had everything we'd need. Shout out I had a deluxe pizza. The crust was perfect. I liked it and plan to try another one next time. My husband had a big salad. Delicious. Enough to share. He also had a 'sandwich'. I'm sure there's an Italian word to better describe it. It was big. Also perfect crust. The ambiance was relaxed and friendly. We'll be back!

Stopped in the other night for dinner while in town from Pointe au Baril for a few things. It was…read morepretty good! You walk in and are immediately greeted by giant menus full of pizza options (see pics). They're serious about pizza. No kidding - one is $450! Yep, u read that right. Mostly, though, the pies range from about $20-35/$45. A nice guy greeted us - and turns out, he was cooking our pizza, but he also did everything else. A one-man operation that night. We ordered a Lemon Harvest Salad to start. The peppery arugula, sun-dried tomatoes, onion, feta, & pistachios went well w/ the zesty vinaigrette. Good salad - and plenty of it. Our pie, the Deconstructed Queen, was just good - not great. It was actually fairly boring (just tomato sauce, pesto, and mozz), and the pesto just meh (odd, since they say it's a signature item). The crust was quite good, though. Thin, crispy. I would say - try a pie with more ingredients! The pizzas definitely have potential. WISH they had a better beer selection. And no dessert for us -- we were too full. The gelato looks excellent, though. Next time!
