This review is to let everyone know about my positive experience that I had with Rosales Fence…read morecompany. My home had a 13 year old fence that was provided by the home builder. Some of the original 4 x 4 posts had snapped off at the base, and I had some panels completely collapsed. I needed to replace the entire fence. I saw workers from Rosales Fence working (on the weekend) on another property within our subdivision, in addition to some other completed fence jobs. I walked up the crew to talk with them while they were on their lunch to ask some questions. They were in the middle part of the job - The old fence had been removed, and the new posts were just going in. What I was encouraged by was the fact that they physically removed to old concrete anchors the posts had been sitting in, and installed fresh posts with fresh cement. Another thing that caught my eye was where the gates went - they used 4 x 6 posts, instead of another 4 x 4. Another thing that I really liked was that I saw Welding gear and a metal frame that had been primer zinc coated. My question to them was "How much extra for having a metal frame door?" and their answer was "Nothing - we do that for every fence job" That was really cool to hear. So I called them to get an estimate. I got a very prompt call back from Felix. He was able to come over the same day to give me an estimate. This is good news to hear, since we work during the week, and only have the weekends to get projects done. I asked him to price out for both Pine and for Cedar. They were also able to provide me with a wider 8 foot gate, so that I had the option to back a trailer into a back yard. He also told me what the process would entail - typically a 2 day turnaround, with the first day for demolition and installing new posts, and second day for boarding; the same crew would do the whole job from start to finish; they would call 811 for powerlines and cable/phone; they would remove ALL of the old fencing and haul it away; install a rot board at the bottom; install 3 horizontal boards for nailing (but they're ringed coated nails) the fence boards in. I asked felix about portable fencing for in between demo and install (we have dogs that need to go outside), and he said that they will install portable orange hurricane fencing before they leave for the day. I also told him I had an in-ground sprinkler system, so I was worried about the crew damaging a line when installing the new fence. Felix told me he would walk through the final job with me, to ensure all the heads were working fine. (Full disclosure - the small print at the bottom of the estimate states that Rosales fence not responsible for damage to sprinkler heads, but Felix told me up front that he would make things right if the heads or lines were broken. He wants to put his customers at ease.) Now - was this the least expensive price quote I got for the same job from other vendors - No, it was not. But when I looked at the quality of their work and the comfort I felt for their entire procedure that they would do the best job for me. When I signed the contract; I had to wait about 8 days before they could start. Now, during this time, I was figuring that 811 would come out and mark all the lines. After not seeing any flags or paint on the ground, I called the office to let them know that 811 still had not come out. In addition to 811, I went ahead and marked all of my sprinkler heads with a flag so their crew would know where the heads were located. Now 811 didn't come out until the morning of the 1st day. If they had not had come out, I was going to stop the crew from working until 811 had marked the property. They did everything they said they would do - done in 2 days (it was actually 3 days because there was a full day of rain in between demo and install - can't blame them for weather, and I wouldn't have wanted them making a muddy mess); hauled away ALL of the old fence installed a great looking cedar fence; gave me a wider gate, and when Felix came by for the close-out walk through, none of my sprinkler heads were damaged. The only slight problem we had was that some concrete pooled over the form that blocked the head. I carefully chipped away part of the concrete, and the head popped straight up. At the end of the day - I was very pleased with using Rosales Fence for my new fence. I have attached some photos of the fence they installed so that you can see their handiwork. I would recommend them for your fence job. The review should be for 4 and 1/2 stars (couldn't give them 5 stars) because of the 811 issue.

I was then informed that the crew would not arrive until between 1 PM and 2 PM... Which was not my scheduled appointment, and I was unavailable during that time. I told the representative that either I receive a discount or I would have to go with another company. The representative said "I think it's best that you go with another company because we already gave you a discount". Not only was this unprofessional, but to inconvenience me, a paying customer, due to their lack of time management and communication is extremely unprofessional. I informed the representative that I would like to speak with the manager regarding this issue and I still have not received a returned phone call. I did reschedule with another company, Garcia professional tree service, and they did an amazing job.

I recently had JPR come and remove a tree from my yard. They got the job done but my yard is full of large dings, and they left a huge pile of the mulch from grinding the stump. They also ran over my neighbor's mailbox and destroyed it. It was replaced, but within a week the post was already coming apart. After two requests it doesn't look like anything has been done to get it back to its original condition. I'm so disappointed.

We had a wonderful experience with Manuel and his team on a large project involving our house…read more Unfortunately, due to water intrusion, we have damaged plywood in multiple areas around our house. MZ Masonry removed all of the existing faux-brick (house is about 50/50 brick/stucco), the layers behind it and the plywood expertly. They then expertly installed new bricks with multiple layers including Tyvek wrapping and coats between the brick and plywood while also changing out all of the plywood. The finished product was excellent. The quoted price was quite fair. I received at least four quotes higher than MZ's quote. This was a large project and took and was completed in the time frame Manuel told me it would take. I would not hesitate to recommend Manuel and his team.

You see the videos, the pictures aren't posted only because this format somehow didn't accept it. Your business was subpar, you tried to take advantage of the natural disaster, you didn't hire professionals, then tried to play victim, you can try to skirt around it all you like but facts are facts. I have saved every text message and picture. Bring It! This is in response to the lies stated by Paula Souto on my review. I was in close communication with her and her husband from day 1. They came earlier than intended to fix my gate due to me having a dog and my neighbors having the fence down. I initially thought they were honest and sincerely concerned after they told me they used to be dog breeders. Basically when they came the husband had their inexperienced young family members doing the work...young teens, early twenties, it seemed. I sent multiple text messages to the fact that the fence was not put up correct with pictures and videos. I was not initially angry because I figured they would right a wrong. I own my own business, I don't automatically think someone is trying to get over on me, we are a Christian company. I asked them to build a small gate BEFORE they had completed the fence, NOT AFTER. The check Paula is lying about saying "an officer had to call me to pay her' is a COMPLETE LIE! YES, the check was returned NSF after they didn't deposit the check for more than 7 days. I will have to go back in my records to see the exact date. I again was STILL communicating with her and told her that I would make partial payments until it was completely paid off. That is how I was able to get her bank ACH info. I was doing everything I promised I'd do despite the trash job they did repairing my fence. Someone came by and nailed in SOME of the loose boards without notifying me that they were there. The video I posted was a video I sent her before things escalated. I was trying to give them a chance to right their wrong...but instead they started this BS with the police as if someone was stealing from them. Disgusting, smh. An officer DID call me and I let him know the same thing that I told these people, THE WORK WAS SHOTTY, I paid them PARTIAL payments via ACH BEFORE the officer ever called me and I told the officer to do WHATEVER he deemed necessary because there was NEVER anything fraudulent done to these people. I put them at the BOTTOM of the list to get paid after I saw the shotty work they did. She says a "nice officer" called me, laughable! I was livid a police officer called me and I let him know it too. Paula left out a lot of pertinent facts regarding this entire situation. I have all proof of payments made BEFORE the officer called me and his name and contact information so he can tell you that this was NEVER a police matter, it's a CIVIL case...but it doesn't surprise me that a white woman would call the police on a black woman and cry wolf. #Karen I will write another review and show the pictures of this fence and just how horrible it looks STILL to this day! I have had other contractors come here and look at this fence even they are astonished at how poorly it was done. Normally a company doesn't try to play the victim when they are receiving payments...but this shows their true nature.
