My mom and I come to Anton's in Delafield to get our fillers done and I cannot say enough good things about them. I came here for the first time this summer to see Jamie to get my lips enhanced. I just wanted a little bit more of a fuller pout and I definitely achieved that. It looks so natural and honestly the process did not hurt at all, I'm totally addicted and want more. It only cost about $400 to do the service, which is great for me because I spend most of my time in DC and everything is crazy expensive there. I've always had great service every time I've come here and am extremely happy with my results. Jamie is amazing and so knowledgeable about fillers to get where and takes an easy approach. If you are looking for someone to just fill your face without a consultation, you're in the wrong place. Jamie takes her job very seriously and consults with you to make sure your face looks flawless. I've also gotten a few spa services with Reese, including the dermaplane dermasweep and I'm so impressed with her. The Botox injector knew she hit my vein ( which is bulging and very easy to see) and knew I was going to have a horrible black eye. I was told to just go buy an anti bruising cream and pay my bill at the checkout. I was offered no mirror to see the newly forming black eye and the clerks at check- out could clearly see the damage, but I was charged FULL price. I had to call repeatedly to complain and they offered nothing. I finally got my money back ( after getting "other" people involved), but believe me, that didn't solve the month long travesty of a gigantic multi colored black eye. This is a warning to you about a salon that operates like this. Be wary. read more

My daughters have been customers at Anton's for years and we have noticed a sharp decline in customer service. I was absolutely livid today when Anton's wanted to charge one a non-refundable $100 deposit for an appointment. My daughter has a flight into town earlier that day and explained she'd only miss if flight was delayed which would be beyond her control. The woman she spoke with treated her with sass and then transferred to owners who only confirmed that they could easily fill that appointment with someone else. I guess customer loyalty means nothing. In addition, my other daughter says at a recent appointment, the stylists discuss price of other clients' services while they are doing her hair. That is very unprofessional. Also, she witnessed a customer with a "known last name" in the area wanted a last minute appointment and they moved heaven and earth to make it happen. A more common name doesn't carry weight even though we've been loyal. Well not anymore. My daughter is a dentist and they don't even charge a deposit for missed appointments. read more

The girl who took care of me was very nice so I truly hate to say anything negative, which is why I won't say her name. Overall I can't say I'd go back. The pedicure station has steps to walk up to. After your soak you basically have to be a contortionist to get your toes painted. Hard to explain but I basically had my knee up to my chest in order to have my toes under the curing light. They don't use drills there. I'm guessing probably because it's better for your nails. However because I came in with gel on my nails and toenails, it took forever for her to file it off. I get pedicures done because I'm diabetic and because I get ingrown toenails on my big toes (TMI, sorry) but she barely clipped or filed my toes. The gel polish selection was very limited and after a week the polish was looking kind of see thru and bare in spots. Do not go here, they damaged my hair. They over processed my hair and I sustained damage that will take more than a year to grow out (due to the length of my hair). They added face framing highlights to one side, leaving the other side unmatched. I went back in to get it corrected and left with highlights of 2 colors. The second visit they didn't use a toner leaving significantly lighter than the prior day areas treated with toner. They have refused to give me the color information, 1st call they said a stylist has to give it to the customer. After not hearing back I called again and after some back and forth I was told they don't share it. When I asked why was I misled on the first call there was no response. Here's the deal, my total experience was a failure on a grand scale and they have had opportunity to reach out and apologize and they haven't. The 1st stylist didn't record the the color profile as part of their protocol. The 2nd stylist noted this to me as well as the receptionist. The 2nd stylist noted the damage to my hair. So there is no color profile to share, they didn't document it or get it after the fact like I was told they would. I get that stylists screw up, but all of this and conflicting policies and the runaround along with the inability to admit and apologize for everything that went wrong, that's not even worth the 1 star I'm forced to select. So I guess it is a great salon if you are an established customer but it's 50/50 if you are a new customer. So if you have patience to allow your hair to get damaged and take a year to grow out, go for it! read more

Antons in Delafield, WI left me extremely disappointed. Not only did they only refund me 90 dollars of my orginal $200+ bill, but they still botched my hair after two different appointment at their salon. I went in for a highlight, and left with orange splotchy highlights in the back, and a combo of green and red highlights throughout the rest of my hair. Just went to a third appointment at a salon down in Lexington, KY and the first words out of the stylists mouth were "omg your hair looks horrible". Even after a third hair appointment, my hair is still orange because of the damage done at Antons. I now have to wait 3 months to get it fixed back to normal. DO NOT go to stylist Bella, who originally messed up my hair, and I'm extremely disappointed in stylist Jessica and manager Diane who tried to convince me I was over exaggerating and made me feel extremely uncomfortable with bringing up my concerns. I have been a customer for over 20 years. I recently tried to schedule a full head highlight and was told I would need to put down a deposit of $100 due to the amount of cancellations they have had recently. While this may be a good practice for new clients, it is not for established clients. I have never missed an appointment and to not allow me to make an appointment without a credit card (as I was driving and did not have it near me) is ridiculous. Now you will be losing my business permanently; a cost greater than one missed appointment. Do better by your loyal customers. read more

Making an appointment was easy. I simply called and was able to schedule a pedicure for the day and time requested. Due to an unexpected situation, I had to change my appointment. They were very easy going and it was no problem. Mariah was my pedicurist. She was very friendly and a pleasure to work with! She did a very nice job with my pedicure. The salon uses appropriate COVID precautions and cleaning procedures. A month has past and the nail polish has not chipped or worn. The only suggestion I have is to perhaps thin the nail color a bit before use or use a new polish. (The big toenails were a little uneven from the start.) read more

Tried calling to make an appointment with no luck. Recently had an issue with a previous salon and was interested in trying a new one. Needed dip powder removal and was hoping to also have a dip powder manicure. I was off work early so asked if they had anything available. I knew that was a long shot but had hoped for something in the next week. Unfortunately they only have one nail tech who handles dip powder clients and she has very limited hours it seems. Was told I couldn't get in for more than a couple of weeks if I needed an evening appointment. This was disappointing to hear as many people I am sure work during the day and hope to treat themselves to a service after work or on the weekends occasionally. Dip powder is not a new nail service and seems to be very popular, I cannot believe they haven't even trained other employees in removing the dip powder. I would've considered having a different type of manicure if I could at least get what was on my nails removed safely. Hopefully this salon will hire more nail techs or train their nail techs to be more accommodating to current trends/services in the nail industry. Would be interested in coming back when they're schedule opens up to be more accommodating but not interested if it stays limited as I would want to be a regular client and wouldn't be able to do so if they cannot make their evening/weekend availability more open. read more

He was not polite at all and seemed annoyed that I was asking if I could make an appointment decide when I got there between full color and highlights based on what my hair stylist suggested. My lady doesn't work there anymore and when I asked the difference in experience level between my lady and Charlotte he said "she's a little less experienced" well don't we literally pay based on experience? Answer the question accurately sam!! Not a fan of the whole energy on the phone and he made me not even want to make an appointment. Makes me want to try a different salon. I LOVE THIS PLACE. I have been using their model program for years now. Not many people know about this option. It allows you to use their lowest level of stylists at a discount price! $20 a haircut, $35 for color and I have never been disappointed. I moved to Milwaukee but still come back to Antons for their model program when ever I need my hair colored. They do a far better job than any other cosmetology education programs I've been to. They still treat you like a normal customer even at the discounted price and THAT makes all the difference. I've even gone in their with some over the top ideas and they have executed them perfectly. The model program is only monday through friday so it is more difficult to fit it into my work/school schedule but if there is a will there is way. I definitely recommend it! I have also gotten facials and my eyebrows waxed at this salon and I was more than happy with the service I received for those as well. I just don't have the money to regularly do it. read more

I recently got just a simple haircut from here and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I have gone here twice now and the first time wasn't so bad and I came again. They told me I had one of their Top stylists I think her name was Amanda, and she asked me how I wanted it cut and she simply did not follow directions! My haircut was completely uneven and just bad. Do NOT trust your hair to these amateurs. I called to book an appointment to get my hair dyed. I told the receptionist what i was looking for (to go from brunette to blonde). Unbeknownst to me the receptionist books me for a 30 minute appointment. I arrive at my appointment, and the stylist took me back. She immediately said, "I can't dye your hair in 30 mins but i can do some highlights". I replied, "that is not what i asked for". So she calls over another stylist, who was surprisingly even more of a bitch than the first girl, to tell me that they can't do anything for me because I booked a 30 min appointment. I was starting to get annoyed. I replied that, "I let the receptionist know what i was looking for so it's your fault that you can't communicate properly with your co-workers". At this point the manager stepped in and tried to fix the problem. The manager looked at the schedule and said "Blank" doesn't have a client for a few hours, she can dye your hair. I decide to do that. While I was in the third stylist's chair, stylist one and stylist two were giving me death stares. It was so uncomfortable and unprofessional. Long story short, stylist 3 must have been new because she wasn't confident in what she was doing. Needless to say, she ended up chemically burning my hair. I complained and was given a discount for the trouble. I paid the discounted rate, didn't tip, and walked out of there. It has been 4 months since this happened and my hair is still damaged beyond belief. No amount of product can save it. Avoid this place at all cost. People are correct when they say all the stylists are snotty. read more

I have mixed reviews about this place. I will categorize based on services: Massage- 4.5 stars.- I had Rae. She is awesome. I absolutely loved her massage. She used just the right amount of pressure and really allowed me to relax and enjoy myself. The room was nice and comfortable. I opted for the aromatherapy massage and she used the scent I picked throughout the massage rather than just the beginning as some do. I had asked her to avoid certain areas and she didn't even come close to them, which I appreciated. The only reason for a half star loss was that I had to wait about 5ish minutes to see her and when we got back, I was informed that we were now behind and I could no longer get the foot soak that usually comes with the massage. Manicure- 3.5 stars- I had a woman with a name that started with S- (Sydney?). While she was very nice, I wasn't a fan of her technique. First, they don't offer a lot in terms of colors which is a bummer. And while she did a pretty good job with the actual painting of the nails, she did very little when it came to the cuticle treatment. I had a lot of rough edges. I also asked that my nails get cut down short and she decided not to and just file, file, file. And her hand massage was less than to be desired. I found out, while chatting with her, that she is actually a hair dresser but Anton's requires most of their hair dressers to do nails as well. You could tell nails isn't her favorite thing. On the plus side, my polish has really lasted a long time. Service: 1.5 stars- I called the week before to book my appointments. I originally planned for Wednesday but found out a friend wanted to get a massage as well. It was quite difficult to get it booked in the first place as they have a massage therapist at different locations at different times. I called back with plenty of notice to cancel and reschedule those appointments. I rescheduled for a few days later but yet got a call on the Wed stating I was late to my appointments. I called back and explained I didn't have those appts and they were canceled already. She blew off what I said, then told me I have to be there for the manicure. I again explained that I changed to that to the other day as well. After we cleared that up, my friend- who's massage was booked right after mine- got a reminder call the day before her massage. I didn't get anything. I called the day of to confirm and the lady was very snippy with me. She said they don't do reminder calls, even though my friend got a call. The lady on the phone said they must have requested that while booking the appointment- I explained I was the one that made all of the appts in the same phone call. She blew me off and just confirmed my appointments and hung up. To top it all off, after all my services were rendered, the front desk tried to charge me for the wrong manicure and charge me more. I had to argue with them regarding what I actually received and booked my appointment for. It did get fixed but they seriously need some communication training up front. read more

This place is the worst! The Updos and makeup for the wedding were average at best. The pricing, however, was for a New York Salon. They overcharged severely based on the website pricing. They lost a customer forever. Would not even discuss the pricing at all. Very pretentious and didn't provide a receipt. I went in for an eyebrow wax and tint. I have been there before for the same service and was satisfied; however, not today. I looked like Groucho Marx, and that was AFTER they tried to "fix" it with make up. The "new' tint stained my skin very badly, and only after rubbing and scrubbing did it lighten up. The remaining stain was covered with makeup, so I could leave and be in public. The skin under my eyebrow hair is stained in blotches, so I will have to use eyebrow pencil to fill in the inconsistent color until the color wears off in about a month. "Stuff" happens, but as a former licensed cosmetologist, I learned to avoid staining skin with hair color, you apply a cream or oil-based emollient to the surrounding skin prior to applying the tint. What I didn't appreciate was how this was brushed off by the "supervisor", not a big deal to her, but she didn't have to go about her day looking like a freak. They did offer a slight discount when I said I wasn't NOT happy, but that didn't help the embarrassment I felt. The sad thing is I knew Anton in the 1970's when he opened his first salon in Oconomowoc. He was a gracious and honest man who took pride in his business and was admired by his peers. I'm am very sure he would not have let this happen to one of his customers. read more

My daughter 14 yr old has hair past her waist. Cassie is the stylist we have been using for years now because she listens to what my daughter, fixes any issues and although she will be out for maturity leave towards March 2019 we have already pre-booked with her before she leaves for her baby. Janet who waxes my daughters lip also extremely kind and good with kids is willing to go that extra mile if anything is missed with no extra charge although I do tip well no matter charge or not due to outstanding service. If your thinking of going to Anton's know after years of taking my daughter there while it can be expensive it is more then worth it with these two ladies who are so skilled and caring I promise you to will be a forever client... just remember tip well they have earned it. read more

Really upset over a lack of transparency in pricing and poor communication between staff and customers. I went in for a nail-color change with the understanding that based on their listed website fees, it would be a $36 service (gel polish is $20 and color change is $16. This is what their website says). Everything went fine and lovely- the girl was wonderful and my nails looked great. However, when I went to pay up front afterwards, I was gobsmacked to hear that my total was $51. Alarmed, I consulted their website and pointed out that the services were clearly listed at a total of $36. That's when they let me know that because I had come in with polish from another salon still on my nails, there was an additional $15 charge. No where is that up-charge listed online, nor did the technician let me know during the service that it would be an up-charge. I am particularly miffed about this because when I booked this appointment, I was clear that my nails had polish from a previous manicure that would need removal. That would've been a great time to let me know that would cost extra, but I was uninformed. Additionally, during the actual polish-change, in what I thought was an exchange of small talk, the stylist remarked that my nails were a nice color and asked, "This shade is so pretty. Was it done here?" When I let her know that no, I had them done elsewhere, I didn't realize I was essentially setting myself up for an extra fee. Overall just really upset at the lack of transparency and communication. The front desk employee was apologetic, emphasizing, "Someone really should have told you." read more

My review is based on the pretentious attitude of this location and not the service. I haven't been here in a few years for a service which was some time back for a massage. The massage itself was relaxing and the therapist was decent, but the front desk and overall demeanor when walking in to purchase items is something that will keep my business from returning. I've stopped in about once a year to purchase Aveda items but only out of convenience if I've been in the area. The girl was nice enough but did not realize until I looked at my hair that night she burnt it. It was so bad that I had to cut sections of my hair off. Left a message for management to refund my money. Never received a call back. Called them again. They asked me to come back in so they could look at it. Told them I did not have time to. Then they told me to send pictures. Sent them pictures and still have not heard back from them. The girl told me she just started in the field yet they would not take my word. Unfortunately, I wish I had a better report. I usually go to Neroli in Brookfield for my waxing needs and decided to try Anton's because they are closer to my house and more moderately priced. I figured I'd give it a shot. I am a trained (but not practicing esthetician) and regularly do my own waxing, but I cannot give myself a brazilian so if that's what my needs are I have to outsource. This appointment was for a half leg (upper) and a brazilian. I arrived for my appointment, and the front desk staff was pleasant enough. My esthetician was prompt and incredibly friendly. We hit it off which is making this negative review so challenging. I have never had a more painful wax in all of my life. I've been getting waxed for the past 15 years. By myself and by others. Not only was it incredibly painful, but when she used the hard wax for the brazilian she had a hard time removing the wax. When she was finished with the service she had left clumps of hair on various parts of my body as well as on my legs. Nothing was smooth and I actually had to go home and tweeze several spots. The next day I waxed the missed areas myself. For the amount of money I paid for this service I expect a much better job. Based on this service I will never return. I cannot express how disappointed I am in the service. Especially because I really liked the esthetician. I would be mortified if I let a client leave looking how I looked after that service. My sister was getting married in Dousman & used this salon to book hair appointments for her bridal party. We didn't have many choices because of the remote location. Personally, I'm from Chicago & have worked in the med spa industry for over 10 yrs so I have a certain level of expectations. To make a long story short, not a single bridesmaid liked her hair, including both mother's of the bride & groom. We were left with the debate of whether or not to take our hair down & start over ourselves. The updos were sloppy & anything but elegant. I was asked by several family members if I had paid for that hairstyle, it was that bad. To add to the horrible experience, they even charged $67 for the flower girl's pony tail!!! She is 3 yrs old!?! Any one of us could have thrown her hair up into a ponytail & it would have been free--and it probably would have stayed too! The flower girl's hair lasted all of 5 minutes. All in all, this salon is WAY over priced for the quality of work they deliver. I HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere for your wedding party needs. read more

I've never had hair services here, so I can't comment on that. In the past, I've had facials, dermabrasion, and massages. All very good, but not fabulous. With the most recent facial, I came away thinking the treatment wasn't really worth the cost. Mostly, I go for pedicures during sandal season, and I always ask for Olivia. She's very sweet and pleasant, and she does a great job. Once I had the super-duper pedicure with heated towels, and that was AWESOME! After doing my own manicures for years, I've recently started getting gel manicures, again with Olivia, and I really like the results, since my nails are very prone to splitting, peeling, and breaking. Having long, beautiful nails is such a treat! However, their color choices are somewhat limited. My niece has a salon in Madison, and they have every color imaginable! Scheduling is usually pretty simple, as is check-in, although I almost got charged too much one day --- glad I caught that. When my kids want gift ideas for birthdays, Mothers Day, and Christmas, I always ask for Anton's gift certificates. read more
