Unfortunately, her front office staff, specifically receptionist has Zero interpersonal skills. She doesn't make eye contact and she doesn't communicate what she's doing so you're left standing there wondering, "WTH is she doing" or "am I just supposed to stand here?" As previously mentioned, I've been coming to Dr. Warfield for years yet all of the sudden, this lady tried to charge me a copay for which I've never before had to pay with my insurance. She's also very depressing when she speaks. For patients who are battling depression and anxiety, it's extremely upsetting! As the face of the clinic, this position requires someone with energy and enthusiasm. It demands someone with optimism and excellent customer service skills- willing and excited to help out patients coming in for help. I can only hope this person receives the proper training needed in customer service or is switched with another staff member more apt for the position.

Called cheating insurance companies and double charging. Now I have to find a real doctor and take another half day and spend my fuel and time to get a decent soctor. She is thorough and proactive with her healthcare approach. She also stays current on the healthcare industry to ensure you get the best care and most current protocols based on ethnicity where relevant. This sets her FAR apart from other physicians in the area. I would drive a million miles to see Dr. Supkay. Setting up appts, request of refills, insurance is all an ease due to the excellent attentional to detail & communication. They also have an amazing patient portal which makes communication with Dr Supkay & her nurse very easy. You can also make refill requests & get lab results from the portal. I absolutely LOVE that Dr Supkay does NOT keep your lab results hostage. As soon as CPL completes them, Dr Supkay allows us to see them. And she follows up to discuss of course. The convenience of CPL being located on site makes any follow up labs easy breezy. Highly recommend Dr Supkay as part of your medical care team!!! I really like Dr. Crear and some of the PAs so it's a shame that the messaging service is not held to a high standard. Honestly, it's like talking to a child...but one who clearly uses AI to polish their grammar. The level of incompetence - with incorrect prescriptions called in and incorrect information relayed - is concerning. I hope they don't have these medical assistants completing tasks that require common sense, like relaying important test results. I know practices are trying to increase profits, especially those practices that are owned by private equity (which this place may be--IDK). But please consider your patients. Don't run a competent practice into the ground by having these assistants do what medical professionals should be doing. Employ some actual nurses to answer patient questions for god's sake, not just "medical assistants."

I had an appointment this morning and it was cancelled. No one called me to tell me. I called the office staff and was transferred (because I had to call twice) to voicemails (including the office manager's voicemail). I'll be interested to see if she returns my call. I was told by the office staff that I was contacted several times by his supervisor in an effort to cancel my appointment. This is an outright lie. I have their number on my phone, and nobody called me. In addition, I received my check-in online yesterday morning (Sunday), so truly nobody called me. I am seriously considering changing doctors, only for this reason. I really like Dr.Gage and would like to keep him as my cardiologist, but this is getting unreasonable and stressing me out for no reason. To make matters worse, I have called his medical assistant several times. When I have been able to get through, the assistant has been very nice. Unfortunately, when no one is available, no one answers and there is no voicemail. This is inappropriate for a cardiologist's office. At the very least, there should be a voicemail set up.

They collect your payment upfront so that once you see the doctor you are free to go. Dr. Gage always comes in like he has all the time in the world. He reviews your cardiac system and open to the discussion for any potential issues that may be occurring. He does a comprehensive review of all medications and answers any questions. As busy as they are you wouldn't think that the atmosphere would be so relaxed, but it is! This time there was a discussion that ensued related to the cardiac stress test that Tom is due for per the American heart Association guidelines. When Dr. Gage found out that times negativity was related to the physical portion of the stress test he advised there is also a chemical stress test that can be taken. I was glad that he brought This option up as I think Tom will be able to see his way clear to having that. The med techs there are also spot on. The hubby has to get an EKG every six months that correlates with his follow up and the med techs there are very able and proficient. Probably sounds kind of funny to take a treat to the cardiology office but Tom has always drop Dan with round rock donuts for them and I suspect he will do that again this holiday season since I am not planning on baking this year. That's it for now. We highly recommend this cardiologist group and Dr. Gage in particular

I came to get my medications renewed and my pharmacy sent them to be ordered from the office. When I returned to the pharmacy they said they never got a reply. I would call the Dr.s office and it would go to voicemail and I would never hear back. I called quite a few times. I figured they closed or moved. I felt very betrayed at the time. I had to see someone else and then they moved. I recently went on Yelp to find a new doctor and saw that Dr. Chikkala was still at the same place!?? WT? I left another message, again, no response! I drove over there today and only the nurse was there. I told her about all this and said she would have someone get back to me. So Dr. Chikkala's husband (who runs the front) Just now called me. He was very rude to me. He said that because it had been almost 2 years that she was no longer my doctor, (well of course she wasn't). I wanted to go back to see her. He wanted to go round and round about when he "said" he called me back a long time ago and it was ME that never responded. LOL really? I DID call, MANY MANY Times! No one ever got back to me. Very irresponsible for a doctor's office. So, I said I would like to get in to see her. Then he tells me that I have to find another doctor because she won't have any information from the last 2 years?? Well, they can get that information from the last group I was at. He proceeded to then just make up stuff and it got ridiculous. He made no sense, I realized he was just being an ass.
