I love the fitness classes most of which are free to members. The staff is very friendly and helpful. 1 1/2 hours of daycare is free when you are working out. Other gyms you have to pay extra. Great sports programs for the kids, my daughter is doing indoor soccer right now and she loves it. I gave it 4 stars due to some of the Zumba classes. Jen is great, but I wasn't impressed with Betsy's class. Ashley is amazing but had to quit due to other priorities which is why I go to her personal class across town. NOTE: YMCA offers scholarship membership to low-income families. You don't get that anywhere else ... that I know of.

Alternative '90's & early 2000's music plays in the background as giant fans circulate the comfortable cool air around. They've got a gear shop, snacks, beverages, comfy padded benches to sit & watch the climbers. The prices are reasonable considering the high quality of this facility. The coaches explain things clearly, take time with beginners, and make sure you're learning the why behind the techniques--not just going through the motions. Nobody makes you feel dumb for being new, and the higher belts are patient and helpful, which makes a huge difference when you're just starting out. The training is challenging but controlled, and safety is clearly a priority. I leave every class tired but feeling better--both mentally and physically. I've already noticed improvements in my confidence, focus, and overall mindset outside the gym too. If you're on the fence about trying jiu jitsu, especially as a beginner, I can't recommend SOMA enough. Solid coaching, good people, and a great environment to grow in.

Shot all over the country, and I found that this club was fun to shoot, had some challenging stations. Club was welcoming, met some nice people and was not crowded and we never waited to shoot a station. Lots of true pairs, interesting combinations. Will definitely will return and will probably become a member. Everything combo from rabbit and bird, longer crossing shots, chandelle, overheads, crossers and targets from behind. Sporting clay grounds are very clean and a magnetic pick up stick is at almost every station for cleaning up the shooting station if you shoot an auto loader.
