I had 45…read morepounds that would not get lost, and I tried everything from A-Z with regard to both diet and exercise. I joined OTF in April 2018, and am I ever glad I did. Not only did I lose the 45 pounds, but at 52 I am stronger and in better health than I have been...well ever. Are the workouts challenging? Yep! BUT, the coaches are great and they show you how to start at your own pace and you naturally get stronger and are able to do more. There are people in class who must be in their upper 70's and people who look like they might be professional athletes, but no one judges you, everyone is supportive, and besides you don't have time to look at what other people are doing! I would NEVER EVER be able to push myself like I do at my classes. My first day I told the coach, "I do not run! If you see me running, you might want to run too, because there must be something chasing me!" Well, I still don't love running, but I have ran 1.7 miles (once) and surprise myself all the time at how great I can run. Then there is also rowing and weight floor exercises and you are constantly switching up what you are doing, and everything is so well planned, before you know it, you have had a GREAT 60 minute workout! Cost? Well, lets just put it this way.. first of all no contracts, so you can stop with 30 days notice. I started out unlimited, and it was $159 per month. That may sound like a lot, but ask yourself, ARE YOU WORTH IT?? It was a splurge for me, but I was worth it! And the payback of being in the best shape of my life, well that is just priceless!! Since I have actually gotten a couple pounds below my lowest goal, I lowered my contract to 2 times per week, at $99/mo, and that keeps me from losing all the muscle and strength I gained. Obviously this was the best decision I have made for myself in a long time and I am super super happy! You HAVE to make time for yourself! If you aren't healthy, or tired all the time, how can you help others? Don't they tell you in an airplane if the oxygen masks come down, put yours on first, and then you can help others? I hope if you are reading this, you give this club a try. I really never thought I could do something like this, but I could, and so can you! Start at your own pace. Shady billing, predatory cancellation practices. My family did a two month trial membership here…read morelast spring mainly to use the pool. Pool was fine - looks the same as it did in 1984. However, when we chose to end our membership because summer was starting and preferred to use outdoor pools, we were billed an extra month at over $85 all because some fine print in the Terms & Conditions said members need to cancel not just a full two weeks not prior to the end of a month, but two weeks prior the month's end billing date. No pro-ration, no exceptions. No other company does that. We canceled around June 15 and were billed for all of July, despite not using the facility since May. Gigantic rip off! Attempts at mediation were futile. Front desk staff at Wolf Creek were useless and directed us to the main office. Multiple calls and voicemails to the main office's accountant were ignored. Incredibly disasppointing experience from an alleged community steward type organization. Waste of time and money. Never going again, spreading word of their shadiness. Change the garbage policy.

They allowed kids to come to the gym at one time and made sure they charged me for it and set up accounts for them, then changed the policy on it months later and had the nerve to come to me and my son while I started working out..to inform us of the policy change while kicking us out. Doesn't sound like the family atmosphere they try to brand. Sadly I have been loyal to this gym through the beginning but they have let all of the dedicated staff go over time do to bad management and not paying trainers. It's unfortunately all a game to get you and your kids training sessions, it's definitely not about treating their customers with respect. Never trust the owner Keith to do the right thing. Most Times it's all about money, not the customer.

They can be extremely hard but the coaches work with all levels of fitness seamlessly within the classes. I really like the coaches and my fellow members. The price is very reasonable when considering the options available.

My friend and I went to the gym often but wanted more of a push. We found Live Fit and couldn't be happier. We signed up for personal training there and it's been fantastic. We have similar body types and goals. It was awesome we could work out together with one trainer, which made it less intimidating in the beginning. I also love how they schedule and charge for personal training sessions. Every trainer I have had made me feel comfortable, not judged and pushed me. I feel like they really effort into thinking what workout to do for each client. I did personal training in the past and felt like I spent more time following the trainer from machine to weights to machine than actually working out. We also participated in Live Fits XGT class which is an amazing workout. Due to time constraints I am going back to focusing on personal training. I began there doing individual personalized training. It allowed me to work with some fantastic trainers over the years that developed high-intensity programs - 20 minutes twice a week - which delivered really powerful results for me - someone who simply did not exercise before. My muscle mass and strength increased significantly. It relieved me of many of the aches and pains I associated before with aging - and I move taller and more confidently now than I did in my mid-life. Now I do small group training sessions... which still provide lots of indivdual attention from the trainers still. Still seeing progress.
