Still a great campsite and State Park experience at Deep Creek. We were here this time in June, but…read moreit's been a long mild spring this year, so it's been cool and wet. There were clouds sitting on the lake for the few days we were here, very misty and Will-O-the-Wisp magical. We ended up traveling to some breweries, Swallow Falls (massive rapids with all the rain), did some local shopping and caught a movie. The camp sites weren't crowded at all and we had no problem making last minute reservations for a Sunday and Monday night.

Been going to this pool since I was in my late teens and often took my daughter to this pool when she was young. Living in the city it was nice to make a mini trek to the pool for something different. I've been known to swing by when home for visits as well. The pool is huge with lots of space to sprawl out and hang out on a towel or blanket when not in the water. Very well taken care of.

It wasn't nearly as crowded as I expected it to be-there was lots of space to spread out. I was also impressed with how clean everything was. The snack bar had lots of tasty and affordable options.

They were NOT. Same thing happened a few years! Found out the smell is from the air conditioning unit drain that backed up and soaked the carpet! We spent 22 consecutive years here and never had these issues. We will NOT come back!!!

Several years ago, a Bigfooters from Pennsylvania were investigating the park for a possible Bigfoot. Then we heard loud noises. Bigfoot or the Pennsylvanians? It was still cool. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating. If staying over the weekend, be well advised to book early, sites fill rapidly.

Audra State Park is simply beautiful! It is a relaxing get away from the real world where you can…read moredisconnect. They do have WiFi close to the little shop in the campgrounds. The campgrounds are clean, as are the shower houses. The river was nice and cool when we were there and it was nice to see others enjoying the water. We tried one of the hiking trails, some parts were easier than others.
