They have a small concessions stand that sells cold drinks, popcorn, pretzels & nachos. They sell bird feed sticks, goat feed, alligator feed & lettuce for Dorthy. We have memberships. Unfortunately, there is NO member line. So when there is a LONG line, yes you have to wait for anyone who is buying tickets to enter. Hoping they can change that in the near future. We absolutely loved our alligator encounter! So many baby alligators! Staff is so knowledgeable and take great care of the animals here. We learn so much from the staff. You are told to arrive 20 minutes early, this was perfect to give me time to purchase souvenirs. Make sure to fill out your waivers online ahead of time so you have more time to enjoy the cafe. Staff were very knowledgeable about the capybaras, we learned so much about them! Staff is happy to answer any of your questions. The capybaras roam free in the enclosed cafe, we were too busy petting the capybaras that we did not get a chance to order anything from the cafe. The capybaras were so gentle and docile. There is one male named Mikey, he hung out with us the whole time, we just loved him! You have an option to book a table-each table has four chairs or you can book a private area that is more intimate. We did fine with booking a table, we had plenty of time with the capybaras. We were a party of three, someone else booked the fourth chair. Everyone stayed at the table they were assigned to. You are welcome to sit on the floor with the capybaras. Staff gave us zucchini to feed to the capybaras. They have minimal parking in front of the cafe but they have plenty of parking in the back of the cafe. Quite out of the way from south of the Intercoastal waterway but well worth the trip. Steve and Kathleen are lovely people. We are locals so we booked a two hour ride in early February. The weather was perfect and the horses were great. I rode Jimbo and my son rode Elvis. Elvis was perfect for beginner riders. Very gentle and easy going. Jimbo was cute and had a touch of a teen ager attitude which was fine with me. The two hour ride through the local forest and wetlands protected Forrest. The vista were breathtaking white sand and local flatland. Their website makes great recommendations for water, hats etc. very accommodating and all around pleasant experience. P.S.
