Very few words really need be said about this school. But I'm not a man of few words... Family oriented. Excellent curriculum. Fun. That about sums it up but... This is a great group of people. Top to bottom. No egos. Very supportive. Great technique. I immediately felt welcome and right at home here. My little guy trains here and it has helped him tremendously with his sense of self and confidence. He's made new friends and frankly; I don't worry about him ever getting bullied. His understanding of discipline, honor and respect is reinforced in a positive manner. I don't train as often as I like but, every class is interesting, informative and most importantly, fun. I've know Professor Alberto for several years know really got to know him over the past 3 years. 2 words used to describe him is Dedicated and Determined. He is dedicated to the art of jiu jitsu and to his students above all and he is determined to bringing the best jiu jitsu and facility he can. This dude basically built both his schools with his own hands! I went over to the old location to an open mat which was filled with great people of all levels. We trained while Professor Alberto was building an extra bathroom with a shower for his students on his own! I didn't think I would find another place to train BJJ when I moved to Panama City. I went in to try it out and was immediately impressed. Alberto and his instructors are great!!! There are no egos in the gym. I usually get there early and watch the end of his kids class. The kids have a blast, are learning great techniques and the instructors are awesome with them. The adult classes are an awesome workout along with great instruction. If you or your kids have any interest in learning BJJ you need to come in and try it out. You will be hooked. Training here was the best decision I could have made for myself and my son. He started timid, shy, and very insecure. He is now outgoing, and confident in his abilities. Super clean facility, and the people who train here are some of the nicest and most helpful I have ever met. If you need a place to train in Panama City whether you're permanent or transient, this is THE best place to go and Alberto is the guy to see. I'm not much for writing reviews, but Marra Senki Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu is worth it. They have top notch instructors for the adult and children's class. You will work hard, you will struggle, and at times you will feel weak, but at the end of the class you will have a great feeling of accomplishment. My daughter also takes the class and she loves it.
