Horrible horrible customer service. My family has been calling since November of 2021 about a contract that ended in February of 2022 had to leave country for work orders and they have been charging me every month and they don't want to help me it is now October of 2023 it is a scam and they just want your money and telling us how we never cancelled yet the lady we spoke to before general area manager she recalled the previous times we tried to cancel. They will do anything to not validate your cancelation don't waste your money or time. We didn't have this issue with another location to cancel only this one. Terrible staffs terrible customer services, first time trying to sign up, I was given a guest pass that I didn't ask for and before I can activate it , I have to come to the AF, got there, door was locked obviously, stood outside call the AF number up to 5 times nobody picked up not once.and that's just the phone I wonder what services y'all not keeping up to. read more

I've been a long-time Anytime Fitness member in California. I visited the Camby location over the holidays in December 2019 and the "home" gym switched over to Camby because I was at that location more in December than my own home gym in California (I recently learned this happens but I was not aware of it before now). Typically, this would auto-switch back when I returned to using my home gym in California, but the pandemic hit and everything shut down. I communicated with the area manager, Daniel Kuznarsky, and he was kind enough to refund the March fee and freeze my April account. All gyms in California were closed from March through the last week in June...open for 3 weeks in July (I went 4 times)...and then shut down again through the end of September. I communicated with my home gym in California in June, July, August and September to confirm accounts were still frozen. Now that my gym in California is open, I was reviewing my fees and see that the Camby gym charged me two times in June, also in July, August and September. So the Camby gym has charged me nearly $200 all while my home gym in California has been closed and I've only been able to attend 4 times - June 30, July 7, 10 & 13 and then they were closed again. My gym opened at the end of September and I'm now attending frequently, but the Camby location won't release me or move me back to my California gym because they just want to keep my money...which is also unfair to the franchise owner in California...because CA is the gym I use 98% of the time (except during my holiday visit to Indiana). I've communicated with the Camby gym and they have no interest in refunding my charges (disappointed in the way this was handled especially during a pandemic). I'm sharing this with you because I think you can find a more ETHICAL place to workout than this Camby location. read more

This is my gym! Daniel, the club manager, is always very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a new gym, check out Anytime Fitness! Open 24 hours a day.... Tanning, free weights, machines, heavy bag for boxing, stationary bikes, ellipticals, treadmills, steppers, showers, and more! I indicated "No" in the "Good for Kids" section. As anytime fitness locations go this is one of the most promising but disappointing locations I've visited. The free weight area is in constant disarray. No uniformity amongst the weights. One of the 45 pound dumbbells has been MIA since I started working out here. Has a dedicated deadlift area which is great but good luck getting in there to actually use it and if you do be prepared to scramble to find 45 lb plates. Has one set of cables that are not in great shape. Positive is that the machines and cardio area is great. Generally very clean bathrooms and equipment. If you are looking to just use machines and get some cardio in this is a good location. If you are looking to lift, try the Avon location. Generally less crowded with better equipment. read more

I've been a member here since December 2013 and I cannot complain about anything here. I've visited 3 other anytime fitness families in the Indy area and this is by far the biggest and nicest. Pretty big place. Pretty clean. I was honestly surprised to see tanning beds. I thought they were no longer recommended for a healthy lifestyle. The cardio equipment is in good shape, but the Nautilus weight machines are in dire need of new pads. Many are cracked and dig into your skin. This should be addressed. read more

The first time I went the gym was very welcoming. It was about $10 over any other gym membership price that I have ever had but it was the only gym in the area. After the first visit, they set up an appointment for a free skills assessment/ work out. However, it turned into an hour of the trainer telling me his story and then about 10 minutes of actual skills assessment. Then the gym closed for a week about 3 weeks after I started going. The manager did not tell me that my badge did not work at other gym locations for the first 30 days. I tried and failed to go to another facility while the gym was closed but failed to get in. Then I tried to call the gym to see the exact day of reopening but was unable to get a hold of anyone. I also had the trainer call me and tell me there was special on the hiring a fitness trainer. I spent 20 mins on the phone with him until he decided to tell me there was $50 fee just to sign up. By that point I was so irate that I called the manager and told him to cancel my membership. He then told me there was a clause that prevented cancelling the membership for any reason other than death or moving 30 miles away from anytime fitness. He did not disclose this information when I signed the contract and and was on the back (which I did not even know there was back back part to the document I was signing). I am going to freeze my account on May 25, but until them I am stuck in contract for a gym where I don't even feel comfortable stepping inside read more
