I decided to cancel because another gym nearby has more equipment, a larger facility, and is more affordable. Instead of wishing me well or asking for feedback, one of the managers asked me if I was gay. It was such a bizarre and inappropriate question that I initially thought she was joking. She wasn't. She then became angry that I was switching gyms, telling me I was putting the local owners out of business by leaving. I remained respectful and even told her I would consider coming back someday. Her response was, "Well if you come back you will be paying all of the fucking startup fees and everything that comes with it." I've never had a manager at any business question my sexuality during a cancellation, let alone follow it up with profanity and hostility. Whether the comment was intended as an insult, a joke, or something else entirely, it was completely unprofessional and had absolutely no place in what should have been a routine conversation. After five years of being a loyal member, I expected to be treated with basic respect. Instead, I left feeling uncomfortable and shocked by the behavior I experienced. I don't normally leave negative reviews, but I hope ownership addresses this with their staff. Customers should be able to cancel a membership without being questioned about their sexuality or spoken to with profanity.

Not only have I lost over 50 lbs but I no longer have the knee issues I used to have and I have a LOT more energy then I used to. Additionally, after three months they suddenly have a "Rate increase" jacking up your rates by double what they intially sign you up for. When you try to get help, they have such scripted responses and basically refuse to help. The place is run by a bunch of dingy tean age girls including management. I even called and the answering service said to call back during normal business hours. I waited around about 20 mins, looked all over the gym including men and women's locker rooms, plus knocked on the "Employees Only" doors. Nothing. Drove back home not getting what I went up there for - tanning and the massage table which requires an employee - so.....still considering cancelling. Not worth the effort or time because this whole experience - drive time and waiting around + searching - took over an hour. It was about 11:15pm on a Thursday night. Really miffed!

I met with Adam and later talked to Amanda and was pleasantly surprised .They are always friendly every time you step in the door, knowledgeable and very supportive. Amanda worked me hard and did not allow me to beat myself up if I had a bad day.
