I've been here 4 days in a row and it's great. I paid for a week pass as a visitor (M-F 10-7 only) lots of gyms don't even offer that-Francesca couldn't have been more courteous! Quick and easy to allow me access I went in the morning and afternoon and it was never busy. I never had to wait for free weight, machines, or cardio. Everything was immaculate and in good working order They have cubbies, regular lockers and even a bike rack outside. Would not hesitate to give them a try. read more

Great silver sneakers gym. Francesca the manager was awesome to work with. Very friendly and knowledgeable. She made the joining process very quick and easy. Can't say enough positive things about her. She took her time explaining things to us and showing us around. The facilities are newer and they have everything you need. They have numerous trainers to help you. Private bathrooms with showers. We were in Dunedin for a month, and averaged going to the gym 5 times a week. We will definitely go back there next year. Francesca always makes me feel welcome and answers any questions I have. I feel like I belong to a community of people with similar goals. The facility is comfortable, clean and looks and smells great. There's plenty of equipment and I never have an issue with people just hanging out on one particular machine too long. It's been so long since I considered working out at a gym again. This gym checked all the boxes for me. First, it was immaculate which I love, and love the flexibility to work out anytime. What really sealed the deal for me, was the time and care I received from the manager Francesca. She made me feel so welcome, and motivated to work out again. I haven't felt that in a very long time. This location is in need of some new equipment. Some of the treadmills and elliptical's had iPod connections they were that old. It was clean and quiet when I went so that was a plus. I prefer the Curlew/19 location. read more

I've been going to this anytime fitness for close to 6 years now. I've been to other locations and this is by far the nicest anytime fitness I've been to (better equipment, cleanliness, etc.). It's a smaller gym, but it has all the equipment I need. It's doesn't get too crowded, except in the Am 8-9 am and after work (5-7 pm). Overall, I usually never have to wait for a machine. They have an adequate amount of cardio machines and offer some group fitness classes for an additional fee. All the members are nice, I've only encountered a few "gym douches" over the years of going here. Their prices are comparable to other gyms and you can't beat the convenience of being open 24 hours. If you're looking for a bigger gym with a lot of group fitness classes, I would not recommend this place for you. read more

I thought that it was hilarious that this location shared a building with a Dunkin Donuts. You could undo all your hard work in a session with a trip over there! For some reason when I looked at this place using Google Street View it appeared small to me. I was quite surprised to see how large it was once I arrived. The members door is actually behind the building. The guest door on the side of the building indicates that, which I have a new appreciation for after recently visiting another location where I couldn't initially find the member's door. Once you enter the member's door there are lockers where you can store your things. There's a medium-sized room for classes. To be honest it seemed a little small for a facility this large, but it was nice to see that they had at least eight spinning cycles that could be put into the room for spinning classes. There was literally a wall of treadmills available. I counted at least ten of them. There was another wall of cycling machines with digital displays. There were three smith machines and two power racks. All of the equipment appeared to be StarTrac. My favorite machines are the plate-loaded ones and this one had so many of them to choose from: chest press, shoulder press, incline press, lat pulldown, and one for seated rows. When I left I was able to buy some Muscle Milk with my credit card, something else I am acquiring an appreciation for since the existence of credit card readers seem to be hit or miss at Anytime Fitness locations. There is a banner on the wall stating that this is one of the fastest growing Anytime Fitness locations in the world. With the size and selection available here I can believe it. read more

I have an odd schedule so I love that this place is open 24 hours. There is usually next to no one there when I go (around 2-4pm or 9-11pm) which means no waiting for machines or having to change up my routine because something is taken. It's right down the street from my house with another location RIGHT next to my work. Yay! read more

Don't fall for the 14 day free pass they just want you to come in and sign up the first day. They insist you fill out an application for membership saying you are only doing the liability waiver. Stewart is high pressure as trained in a passive aggressive way Dunedin community center has many of the same machines for just a fraction of the price and no contract. I have nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about this gym. My husband and I generally visit Dunedin, FL 1-2 a year from Chicagoland. Anytime Fitness luckily offers a weekly rate that is reasonable and beneficial for those on vacation! The employees at this facility have ALWAYS been nothing short of polite and helpful. His name escapes me, but one particular employee (I believe he is a manager) has waited on me every time I have gone here and even referred my husband and I to an officiant for our wedding in November 2015 (who we used and loved BTW!). We will definitely continue to use this gym during our vacations to Dunedin and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who resides in the area! read more

This very expensive gym seems to only cater to bodybuilders and athletes, or if you pay more money to get a personal trainer. They aren't helpful to middle aged women who are trying to become fit, and might need a little assistance. Not at all a friendly staff. read more

For anyone visiting the region and looking for a gym to use during your stay, do not go to this gym. Despite its name, visitors have highly restricted times when they are allowed to use the facilities, and in fact visitors cannot go at all on Sunday. This despite the fact that a weekly pass is $30, likely on par with the monthly membership. When I inquired about finding a way that I could come to the gym early one morning (6 a.m., a popular gym time for many people), the staff was rude and unhelpful. read more

I really regret the day I signed up for a membership here. I originally ignored the high pressure tactics of "Stuart", because after all I would be working out by myself. Big mistake. The gym itself is well kept and for the most part serves its purpose... until you want to cancel your membership. Trying to cancel your membership is difficult to say the least. These people will not take no for an answer. Apparently when I attempted to cancel my membership, I in fact froze my account... for a year. Why anyone would want to do that intentionally is beyond me, but apparently that is what I did. A year later I noticed the charges on my bank account statement (1 1/2 years since actually using the facility). When I called to inform them of this apparent misunderstanding and to cancel my account "for real" this time, I was again routed to Stewart who quickly became combative that I didn't want to be charged for two additional months of "service" even though I moved to a location 5 hours from the facility and had no way of accessing their service. Stewart informed me that it is totally normal to be charged in this way on a month-to-month contract and that I should "handle it like an adult dude." I was astounded by his lack of professionalism. Having moved in the last three months I have had to cancel several services that I actually used and I was never charged a fee, in fact several of these businesses actually sent me prorated refunds. Having been a member of several other gyms in the past this is certainly a unique experience and I am disappointed that Stuart was unwilling to cancel my account though it seemed unreasonable to continue charging me. Stuart boasted that their membership is over 2000 people, but I guess my $64 was not worth creating a customer oriented reputation. The people at Anytime fitness in Dunedin do not care about their customers. They just want your money. My advice is to take your business elsewhere. read more
