I was competing in mixed martial arts in China town San Francisco before it was a thing. I loved it when the first UFC VHS tapes came out and people like Graci made this sport a thing. I've eaten lunch with Ken Shamrock in San Jose and had The Beastman Eastman and others attend my concerts in Las Vegas so I have to say I love this gym is here in Clearwater and I hope people check this place out. You never know. My cousin and I trained his son and he made it to the finals in the Sacramento try outs a while ago. I actually told a want a be gang banger at my work who was threatening me that I'd go ask the instructor here if he'd allow us to get in the octagon together in a controlled match to let us spare then hopefully we'd be able to get past our differences. Fighting shouldn't be a first option, but when it's necessary it should be in a controlled environment where each man can learn from from it and grow from it. He was an adult and less than half my age, but he declined. Now I believe if this man had joined this gym instead of hung out with gang bangers he'd have the discipline to speak better to his elders and wisdom to know when to fight, where to fight, and with whom to fight. This is a fantastic gym! The focus is on a variety of mixed martial arts such as boxing, kick boxing, jui jitsu, MMA and more. There are several 150lb heavy bags for boxing and kick boxing. The instructor led classes are great and focus on proper technique. There are even kids classes so that parents and kids can during the same time schedule. !!!!Warning!!!!! Be ware of fraud from the new ownership that took over few months ago. I was charged for a renewal fee I was not aware that I agreed upon. I confirmed by reading my agreement and no where did I initial the auto renewal section. In addition, I was sold a promotion of $99 for three months that expires on 8/31/2015. However, I was charged for the membership fee before the expired date??? Does that make sense?????? In addition, I purchased a personal training session that I've yet to get the initial assessment that came with the gym membership. The supposed trainer kept rescheduling my appointments and all of my appointments were a no-show!!!! I took out my precious time to travel to a gym that has been under construction since I joined a month ago, with no air conditioning (as of Friday - when I was there on 7/3/2015). Why would anyone want to give their hard-earned money to a place that has: -- Poor customer service; -- The gym is in no condition for members to motivate themselves to go with inadequate workout equipments and space; --Incompetent management team!!! I called multiply times to the gym and no one ever answers the phone so I can speak with the management team. They were consistent with reaching out to me to sign up for the membership, but once I joined, I cannot even get my emails and calls returned!!! This is by far the worse customer service I have ever received from a business. read more

This is my favorite gym. They have a plethora of classes to choose from and there is a nice family vibe here - you can make friends easily here. Everyone's very supportive of you and every single one of the coaches are motivating. Coach Benny is so talented but he is tough love - take his classes if you wanna soar. Coach Shawn is awesome if you want a consistent and constant pace. He knows how many reps you did, so don't cheat - he's counting and awesome at holding you accountable to your own goals. Coach Lance is a sweetheart and uber serene... He likes developing rapport with his students and he takes the time to explain everything to you, extremely patient. The facility is pretty clean, but parking can be difficult at peak times - after 5 pm it's busy! The day classes are much more one-on-one. Overall, a 5 star gym and the best in the area. read more

Very updated facility with experienced trainers. I always feel like I get the attention that I need to improve. They push me to be better but always make safety the #1 priority. I also do Crossfit regularly but will now be adding this to my routine. The new ownership is great and worked with me on my payment options. No complaints as of yet. New management has taken over and the place has went downhill. .the "new flooring" is filthy and all the weight equipment is gone. They have plenty of bags to hit but not much else. The very small area they have for grappling has a shabby tape job. The "owner" has never said hi to me and always looks upset. Unless things change quick I would never suggest going to this place. read more

This gym is awesome. I live in Fort Lauderdale and go to the UFC there. While in town for two days staying at my moms my husband and I really wanted to get a workout in. We stopped by this gym hoping they would let us join the 12pm matrix class. They welcomed us in like family and Coach Lance was one of the nicest and most professional trainers I've ever met. He explained to us how he works his class and he has a great positive energy. We really got in a good sweat and feel fantastic. We plan on coming in every time we're in town. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for a good workout with something different and fun. There is no competitiveness and noone is singled out no matter how much they can or can't keep up. Everyone had a great time and I can't recommend this place enough. Don't think about it just join. read more

Only gym I go to now they have everything you could want and then more such a better way to work out if you hate running on the treadmill!!!

Love the classes and if you don't walk out drenched something's wrong. The instructors are high energy and know how to work you hard from warm up to cool down. You have lots of machines and free weights to use as well. Pete and the team are great and everyone gets to know you by name. It's all about great training, fitness and fun. There are so many classes that can fit anyone's schedule not to mention great personal trainers that you can work with if you choose to. read more
