It's like he doesn't like his job the way he has an attitude. Also this is my second time that he's doing inventory at this location. I feel like this manager should be doing his inventory at night especially with having another worker present. Understandable you have to count everything in here but you should be counting that when you have the least crowd. Then he denied my teen a candy because he's allegedly doing inventory. Oh also the computer was allegedly down. I way prefer going to the Kenner location. Unless the female manager here she's always nice and smiling.

I've spoken to the new manager, Brooke, and she seems to be genuinely interested in making it a better place to work out. It's being kept cleaner, and the new employees are definitely more interactive with members than past employees were. Overall, I'm happy here and would recommend this gym to anyone in the LaPlace area looking for a nice place to work out.

I am back…read more The hours have changed where they are open 24 hours each day for premium membership, so they are now competitive with the other two LaPlace gyms. This gym has a hydra massage table which the other two gyms do not have. It is clean, well-lit with adequate parking. My spouse has COPD and cannot tolerate the automatic perfumed air spritzers that choked him at the other 2 gyms in which we both have been members. We even told the owner at the newest gym about his sensitivity, she totally minimized his concerns. French Riviera does not perfume the gym.

Which is fine, it gave us time to reschedule so I don't drive 30 min to get nothing done. The second time I got a text 10 minutes before the appointment when I was already on my way saying my appointment was canceled. When I got there they said the A/C was broken and that now it's too cold. No apology for anything, just a "you can reschedule it" and that's it. I can't recommend this place at all only because it seems they don't care to fix the A/C problem they have been having for a while, and also don't care for the customers time they waste setting an appointment just to get a cancellation text a few minutes before the appointment.

This gym is the opposite of that crap. It is reasonably priced and no weird hidden fees or restrictions, equipment is in great condition, staff is super nice and the access code allowed me to go whenever works for my schedule. I loved this gym so much and was sad to leave it. Is this type of business model for gyms old school? If so - lets bring it back! Thank you 504 fitness!
