One of the worst gym experiences we've ever had. The cancellation process was incredibly frustrating. They made us think that we could cancel any time and then locked us into a membership we couldn't get out of, which felt extremely shady and left us paying 50 a month for a gym we haven't been to in a year. The most concerning part, though, was an employee apparently using his gym access card to figure out his name and when he regularly worked out. We later saw her in public where she immediately called him by name and mentioned that they "went to the gym together," despite him having never spoken to her and not even knowing who she was. It was extremely uncomfortable and crossed a major boundary. Between the rude customer service, lack of transparency, and this situation, we absolutely could not recommend enough that you stay as far as possible away from this gym. read more

DO NOT JOIN THE MONUMENT LOCATION! They locked me into 18 month membership but made me think i could cancel anytime. I would have never agreed to that knowing I was moving into a apartment with a full gym in the next 6 month. Dishonest people that will blame previous owners for all complaints. Plenty of other gyms around. Hard pass on this place. read more

Pros- open anytime the key fab pad works, not busy so most of the time you get the machines you want. Cons-30 day notice is more like hey you can pay for the month but you can't use the gym. They deactivate your fab and tell you it must be turned in. Wait I paid for the month already shouldn't I have access???? Apparently not. Posted staffed hours are more like possibly staffed hours. Do t waste your money here....seems like new staff coming and going. 4 different in the last 10 months... read more

The gym is located conveniently right off the interstate. The staff there is super friendly and she keeps the place very clean! She also trains , when you sign up you get a complementary assessment and does personal stretching as well. The gym is smaller but everything you need is there and it is never crowded so no waiting on machines. Great neighborhood gym!! read more

Joined this gym since i used another one in town and loved it, but this one is 10 minutes from my house so majority of the time need to come to this one based on location. Horrible sums this place up, this place is always dirty (no soap in bathrooms, Holes in shower with white duct tape to cover them, mounds of dirt and hair in the corners). Also i worry about cleanliness of the equipment, I don't feel they educate new members or encourage people to wipe down equipment. If you can fight through the dirt, you will have to wait for equipment. High School aged athletes are here for regular workouts (not sure if they have a deal with the football team?) but i tried to come at varied times from 3:00-6:00pm and will always be groups of High School aged kids crowding the machines. Want to cancel ASAP but in contract..... so frustrating read more

Stopped in here to workout on a weekend getaway to Monument. The manager was very accommodating, and let us workout with just a day pass. The facility was very clean and was most definitely the quietest gym I've ever worked out in. Even with a few people on the cardio machines, the noise level stayed really quiet. They have all of the weight lifting equipment you need to do a full-body workout, and even have this really fun ab machine called the AbSolo. Great facility, would definitely be a member if I lived in Monument! read more

Super clean, 24/7 access and the gym is relatively empty most of the time. Weights are always re-racked and place is always organized.

Under new ownership and management, the facility is a power house of fitness and fully equipped. Both the general manager and personal trainer have Bachelor of Science degrees in Kinesiology, Exercise Science along with extensive knowledge of current exercise fitness trends and personal training. Brand new ownership took over this place a few months ago and he has been doing a wonderful job alleviating any of the issues that the prior ownership had inflicted on this facility. Spoke to the manager to cancell my account since I moved to Denver. The manager promised everything was done and my account was cancelled. They have been charging me ever since... and they do not return my calls. Additionally I noticed that no one was ever at the gym - no managerment was ever present... maybe its just my imagination and I am living in the Matrix... find another gym if you are looking for attentive owners who care about their patrons. Tri Lakes Gym is across the street... I wonder how many months they will charge me for... Oh yeah the manager almost begged me to stay .... Great workout facility; unfriendly atmosphere. If you like working out with good equipment and a sour attendant staring through the glass, then this is the place for you. Called to cancel my membership 3 times, each time no one ever answered. I asked for a call back to insure they received my notification and no response. Calls were made Aug. 25th at 2:31, Sept. 1st at 8:52 am and Sept 9th at 3:42 pm. I finally called ABC Financial the company that withdraws your membership money and they said they have no record of us wanting to cancel. WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH THESE PEOPLE!
