They are all super sweet and very helpful, plus Ryan the owner typically coaches on Friday. Yes Crossfit is hard, yes you will be sore but it's totally worth it. Take it easy with the weight until you work up to you are comfortable with, and your form is down pact. I typically do bootcamp and I am pretty strong, but when ever I do cleans, snatches etc I always take it easy with the weight, to be safe. I am pretty sure the first work out is free so check them out. The facility it the chain to the Suncrest location and looks amazing, whenever I have time I always go to the 6am class preferably when Ryan is coaching, mostly because he is super helpful and very patient with novice Crossfit peeps. I wish I could do Crossfit only but with work it's really hard, I may have to start in the evenings, a couple of times a week we will see. Go check them out you will be glad you did!

I have always felt motivated and never left a class discouraged. When stuff got hectic with classes work and College dance performances I was able to put a hold on my account! Everyone is so encouraging and wants you to get something but at the same time no one is nosy at what you're doing. When my membership needs renewed I'm 100% renewing It here. Staff and coaches are great and patient! You get what you put into It so just come in with a good attitude and you'll be set!

I really enjoyed it! I'm not a big gym - workout person but this is a workout I could actually see myself keeping up with. I was sore after the first couple of classes, but in a good way. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 b/c it says that it is for all levels, including beginner but I do not believe that is true. If you are a true beginner, you will be lost. You, at the very least, need to know the names of basic poses. The instructors typical do not do the practice with you but are talking you through most of it. I personally love the classes but if I had gone here as a beginner I would have been really intimidated and felt totally out of place. If you have some yoga experience and are looking for a good workout then this is the place for you!

I would suggest if you're new to yoga you attend a few Iyangar classes at Inner Life Yoga first, they'll help you with the positions and what you're supposed to feel in each pose. Then come to Power Yoga Morgantown for a workout! Not that PYM does not review form and the positions, but I personally felt it helpful in my practice to have the poses down first, then in a faster paced class I know what I'm supposed to do. Another bonus, PYM has a donation-based class on Fridays at 5:45p and a two-week unlimited offer for $25.

In my opinion it's a great deal and if you are an early riser like me you need the time in the morning after a good work out. I had been eyeballing this place since we moved here and really just had let Cross fit go because I knew they didn't have any 0500 am classes, plus I hadn't really got into my schedule. I finally decided to give something with them a try. When I reached out I was invited to my first class, I was more than willing to pay, however they will let you try your first class for free I was in love!! Bootcamp is literally everything you would do at CF minus the Olympic lifts. I love Emily, she is super cheerful at 0500 and her WV accent is adorable, Ashley is awesome too:) I do plan on getting into CF, however I think that doing the bootcamp is a great introduction to CF. The work outs will make you sore, and yes they are hard. The classes that I am doing now in my option are Great! The instructors are awesome and truth be told I can't wait to start Crossfit! Friendly owners and a great facility! I will update when I do my first week of Crossfit:)

The room is big and open with very little to absorb sound so you can barely hear what the instructors are saying. They only use the reformer to do squats, lunges, and presses. I have yet to use any of those muscles that pilates aims to strengthen. There js very little done with breath work. They remind you to breathe in and out but dont focus on the importance of breath work during your movements. Most of the time everyone is looking around trying to figure out what to do next because everyone is so lost. The instructors do very little demonstrating. They dont come over and correct you. A lot of the classes that I had been, we would do leg work on the right leg but never go back to do work outs with the left leg. Not very impressed for $200 a month. If you sign up for a membership, they make you stay in 3 billing cycles before you can opt out, or you have to pay a $100 fee to cancel before the 3 months.
