The massage was disappointing, as a deep tissue technique never involves digging in with the thumb only before warming up the muscle. She did this continuously, and it wss more irritating than painful, but quite uncomfortable. She never addressed lower back, a d focused for 10 full minutes on my calves. I left angry, and LPS will not get my return business. Tara, put your mind on the client, your job, and stay off personal business when at work, if you ever want to stay employed.

I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 b/c it says that it is for all levels, including beginner but I do not believe that is true. If you are a true beginner, you will be lost. You, at the very least, need to know the names of basic poses. The instructors typical do not do the practice with you but are talking you through most of it. I personally love the classes but if I had gone here as a beginner I would have been really intimidated and felt totally out of place. If you have some yoga experience and are looking for a good workout then this is the place for you!

I would suggest if you're new to yoga you attend a few Iyangar classes at Inner Life Yoga first, they'll help you with the positions and what you're supposed to feel in each pose. Then come to Power Yoga Morgantown for a workout! Not that PYM does not review form and the positions, but I personally felt it helpful in my practice to have the poses down first, then in a faster paced class I know what I'm supposed to do. Another bonus, PYM has a donation-based class on Fridays at 5:45p and a two-week unlimited offer for $25.

I wish there was something like this around me. A giant gym with basketball hoops, soccer nets, pickle ball courts, and a bin of balls for public use. Everything was well taken care of. There was A LOT of construction going on while we were there, making it difficult to actually reach the facility. We went to the pool almost every day. Thr hours are super weird, so be sure to check the schedule. Some times they have the splash pad open, others everything is closed for classes. They have a wristband system to keep track of which water slide kids could use. That was only in place for maybe 20 minutes during our first visit. Some kids were given bands, others weren't. The problem was nobody was there to measure kids most if the time, so they probably need to rethink this system. The pool itself was fairly warm, making it easy to get right in. We enjoyed our time at both places and hope to make it back some time soon.
