What's most impressive about this gym is that it boasts some of the widest range of equipment and floor space in the gym industry. There are a lot of classes and personal trainers available. With different membership packages available, your access and price range is somewhat adjustable. The change rooms are nice and clean and spacious as well. Attendance is quite robust and the staff look very engaged and cheery. The whole atmosphere of the gym is very welcoming. I still look forward to going each week and working out.

Decided to try this out since its really close to my work and I can be here at 3:30ish before the…read morehorrible 5pm crowd descend. Plus its a big facility with kettlebells, TRX's and a STEAM ROOM!!! OMG. I was so excited about the steam room. That's my favourite thing, and I haven't belonged to a gym with a steam room in ages. I should say that most people would not find fault with the range of equipment here. They have a bazillion weight machines and another bazillion cardio machines. Along with a big, bright group exercise room and a dedicated spin room, 90% of gym goers would be set. I was not. I absolutely HATED the freeweight area. That's the most important thing for me. It's this huge, two-level facility and they have all their heavy freeweights shovelled in this tiny corner room type of thing and it sucks balls. Total fail. There was no way I was joining when I have to take a ticket for a squat rack and lollygag around for 20 minutes at 3:30pm. Especially when I have to pay $5 for parking if I stay over 1.5 hours. (note: you don't literally have to "take a ticket" for the squat rack - i was being sarcastic, my friend read my review and was like, omg you have to take a ticket for the squat rack? whhhaaaat? no, no, no... that's just me being snarky ;) But both racks were full with someone already waiting, so that was annoying) So that was that. I'll squat tomorrow at my usual gym, which I'm not convinced I want to leave... just want to see if I liked this place, mostly because of the steam room. What else? The trainers here are NOT friendly, they sit around looking holier-than-thou and even when the membership guy tells you to have a seat and there's nowhere to sit because of them, they don't move or entreat you at all to feel welcome. I've worked in gyms for years, so this was kind of unbelievable to me. If that was me, I would have introduced myself to this new potential immediately and made conversation. Also, the locker rooms and especially the toilet stalls were FILTHY. The steam room was actually AWESOME. It was boiling hot and steamy and even when people came in and out, it was hot enough that it didn't really cool down at all. Oh well, too bad. It's not a bad facility if you want to do some leg press and the pec dec and finish off with a bit of elliptical, maybe catch a class once or twice a week, but the weight room sucks, the staff are largely unfriendly in my experience and the locker rooms are really gross.

Open long hours, all types of bodies and fitness levels at this gym. The indoor heated pool is well…read moreorganised with good signage...people obey the lane rules...a plus for me. Anyone who has had a neck injury because someone has hogged the lane would appreciate this. The spa is clean and the pool assistant checks on the area frequently. The sauna is piping hot....I mean the atmosphere...oh I mean the temperature....gee take it how it comes. Ha The gym area upstairs has a huge range of fitness equipment. You can pull every muscles in every direction in this area. Good flat screens show the latest TV shows. The area is very much self contained from the other areas and you can't hear the huffing and puffing. There are squash courts, a tennis court and an outdoor swimming pool. This place has everything. Now for the best bit there is a bar here. Work out with friends then have a drink afterwards. There are also not many youngsters....too expensive for them and their parents.
