BUT it's disappointing 1 of the 2 stairclimbers is ALWAYS broken and when I only have less then 30 min a few times a week to work out and someone is climbing 50 floors .. I've been coming here for about a year now and I absolutely love it. Unfortunately calls are not answered/returned so any concerns you have are better to bring in person during their employee hours. Besides that though, the actual gym experience here is great. It's spacious with enough variety of equipment that you can fit in a workout even during their busier hours. The trainers are extremely friendly, as well as the vast majority of the members. I have yet to have an outright negative experience with anyone. Everyone minds their own business and the atmosphere is totally judgement free. There is one side of the gym equipped with machines and the other is free weights, then there is an open room in the back middle where you can do stretches or any kind of workout with whatever is there. Everyone is respectful toward the equipment and wipes down after each use. There are 2 shower rooms for men & women respectively, and a single stall bathroom for anyone. It doesn't really matter which shower room you use (since it's one person at a time) honestly people just take what's available and it never becomes a problem if you're not coming out of the "right" one lol. Any lost & found things are left on the table next to the office. I was really afraid of coming to the gym but Anytime Fitness has such a great welcoming environment that regardless of how out of shape you are, you aren't made to feel out of place. If you're really serious about going to the gym, I would consider this place because the ones that have had problems are the ones that don't want to commit and cancel ahead of time or just don't want to take the step to approach staff in person. It's really not that hard. Shawn is great and gives insightful tours to anyone who signs up for one online, or you could just show up during staffed hours and get an impromptu one. They really don't mind. If you're just going to listen to the negative reviews, whatever, to each their own. More room for the rest of us! read more

In my experience, this location is pretty quiet, especially if you go in the evenings (after 7ish), so you don't have to worry about sharing equipment. I much prefer this to other local gyms because I don't have to worry about taking space away from the gym bros! As a woman working out alone, I've always felt very safe here, even when I have the gym to myself. It's well lit, there's parking right next to the door, and there are conspicuous cameras. There's a good variety of equipment and things are rarely out of service. I've always been able to get a treadmill, even during busier hours, and there are always circuit machines open. Joined the gym initially using a regular credit card for payment. Had no problems. Later, when I received an HSA Visa card account through my employer, the new billing information was given to Anytime Fitness with seamless payments being the plan. Anytime Fitness and ABC Financial made zero effort to load the new card information so that it could be processed. Health Equity, the Visa card issuer said the whole payment problem could have been fixed with one phone call from Anytime Fitness or ABC Financial. It's now been turned over to collections. If and when that does any damage to an otherwise perfect credit rating, their actionable corporate malfeasance and sloppy customer service will become more known. Too bad their corporate structure is wholly unresponsive and robotic in nature. read more

They charged me membership fees during Covid even though they were closed. I gave them written notice to cancel my membership, and they said I needed to come in for that, BUT THEY WERE CLOSED DUE TO COVID!!! I contested the charges and my bank got my money back. Then they contacted me in July and stated that I still needed to come in and cancel!! Unknowingly, they were still billing me, even though I was not paying them. Now it's September and I get a notice from their billing department that I own them $225!! The manager named Mary Beth would not do anything about the charges, she said she does not make up the rules. How can you stay in business when you treat people this way? read more

Shawn the manager at this establishment is absolutely terrible. I canceled my membership once my year contract was up then they don't tell you that you have to pay another month AFTER cancelling. Since I never paid for the extra month after my cancellation notice they cancelled my cancellation without telling me. So they charged me for another years service without telling me again until it went to debt collectors. During this year of unknowingly racking up charges my membership key wasn't active so they just scammed me out of an entire years membership worth of money. Shawn was unhelpful during the entire process and an absolute nightmare to try and communicate with. Not to mention they gym isn't well kept and there was a few times people were caught in the restroom showers doing the nasty and I had to contact management but they still let them continue coming to gym. You could go to planet fitness for was cheaper and they're way easier to work with. read more

In Early December, my husband and I tried multiple times to come in and call to cancel our membership but was told the main person who does this wasn't there. Finally, someone had us fill out the necessary paperwork, took our tags, and told us we would still get charged in December. We were also told we would receive a call from someone confirming this. We received no call. Again I called multiple times but now can't get into the gym because they took our tags. Just was charged for January. What kind of people run this business? I'm not a member here, but I am shopping around for a gym. I belonged to LA Fitness previously, but wanted to see what else was out there close to my house. I called for 2 days. No one answered the phone and I never received a call back. I decided I would just go in during their staffed hours to get a week pass to try it out. I went at 530 and no staff was there except a trainer with her client. I told her it says they are staffed until 7 according to their voicemail and the sign on the door. She had no idea why there wasn't anyone there, but that they had already left and wouldn't be back until 10am. She was nice enough to let me walk around, but if trying to get a pass to try them out is this hard, I can't imagine having a membership here. Save yourself the trip and the phone call. read more

ZERO STARS! Poor customer service. Dropped the ball with personal training by cancelling on me almost every session and then offering me sessions on days/times I had expressed clearly again and again that I am unavailable for due to work. Asked multiple times for a new trainer, consistent schedule, and/or to be transferred to a different location who could accommodate me. I don't think these were unreasonable requests. I was told "we can't do anything but I suggest you schedule and come in because your paid sessions are expiring every 15 days. If you can't then I'd suggest you have a friend or family member use them for you." (Which was never advised upon contract signing.) Broke my foot in March and they still wouldn't assist in freezing or accommodating me in any way. Now I am a full time caretaker of my Grandma with dementia who is at high risk for contracting the virus. I cannot use the services without putting her life at risk even if I wanted to (which I don't because the management and staff at this location care more about "policy" which really means money, than human decency). Won't let me out of a contract, despite breach of contract with PT, disability (my foot is still not healed and I cannot wear tennis shoes), pandemic (which everyone should be able to get out of contract at this point for any reason due to unforeseen circumstances (COVID) upon signing contract months prior to said events, and now that I live and directly care for an at risk patient who I could carry the virus back to from the gym. I wish they truly cared about their customers. I wish they were kind. I wish they had compassion. I wish they had a passion for health and wellness. For a health club to promote themselves as health-driven and completely disregard DHS, CDC, etc just baffles me. Marybeth, Justin, Mallory, Richard, and Janet...the people on the other end of these poor reviews, phone calls, and complaints are REAL people and we matter. My Grandma's life matters. My life matters. A roof over our head and food in our bellies matter. In such a time as this to do what you are doing to our community is unethical, inhumane, and simply unkind. Do better and be better. Maybe then, when the time was right, I would have returned back as a loyal and excited customer, instead of feeling taken advantage of in a global pandemic. read more

I don't understand the complaints of others. Anytime Fitness is not meant to be like the 'Big Box' clubs and should not be compared to them. Those of us that appreciate Anytime Fitness will gladly pay the extra 65 cents a day or so to have 24/7 availability plus the environment we want in a gym. For one the Twin Peaks location is as clean as it can get. The equipment is always in great shape. The manager Mallorie is one of 'us'. Someone who not just wanted to be in great shape but had the passion to go after it. She is an inspiration to the rest of us with all that she has accomplished. Most of the staff seem to know you by name and they have always been very encouraging. We love that you have a great variety of classes to choose from or you can create your own personal or group workout with a wide variety of videos. read more

It is very difficult to get a hold of someone when phoning this facility. It is also very distasteful to speak badly about the competitors to potential clients. I finally received a call back from this place and the gentleman chose to point out that people go to Anytime fitness complaining about Snap fitness because the owner won't turn on the television in the gym in order to cut expenses. First of all, anyone complaining about televisions being turned off at a gym is petty and pathetic. YOU ARE THERE TO WORK OUT, not watch tv. Even if you're doing cardio, focus on your work out people! You can watch television in your home all day every day. The gym is no place for a television. It seems extremely petty that people will actually complain about this kind of stuff. This conversation made me realize I made the right decision joining Snap Fitness. Dont use this gym they are shady as hell. They billed me during the covid shut down. I talked to the manager and I would receive credits starting in September. Guess what in September I got billed again. I cancelled my bank card in august because they billed me during the shut down in September they billed me again and they didn't even have my new card numbers (how the hell did they do that). I gave them my access key back and told them I'm done. They want me to come back and sign a cancellation notice. Hell no I have no need to talk to shady people. I have been in contact with their corporate offices. The bank refunded back the last payment they took after I cancelled, I have had to open a new checking account because of them. read more

I've been a member since Febuary '19 and will not renew when the term is up. It's not that bad, just mediocre - the place isn't kept up well enough for me to want to do another term. At least four of the audio controllers on the treadmills have been broken since I joined and the wipes dispensers are frequently empty (all at the same time) but I guess the upside is that people are using them. And I know musical taste is subjective, but the 5 a.m. weekday playlist runs the same songs over and over (metal, grunge, harsh stuff) and it's too loud. It's like an auditory assault on some days. On the plus side they do have enough cardio machines except for rowers - one isn't enough - and a good-sized separate room for weights. I chose this place because it was close to home but am ready to drive farther for a better gym. read more

This gym is pretty good the price can be a little high but its still lower than the other 24/7 gyms. The only thing I would recommend is to go to the gym in the morning and avoid going after 6pm or after work. I did and couldn't help but notice only 3 people in there. Once I got off the treadmill and rested a bit one of the guys talking to his 'friend' pointed at me and jester to his friend while saying out loud. "See that girl?" I've been to other gyms as a guest and can say that Anytime Fitness has to be one of the cleanest and up to date. I used to be an LA Fitness member, switched to this location and regret it A LOT. Just to compare the prices: LA Fitness: $29.99 and NO other fees and costs and you can cancel it any time. Here, there is a key fee, monthly fee of $34.99 for this TINY area. And an additional yearly fee! It basically comes up to a monthly fee of more than $50.00, plus they hold you up for 2 years. Read the contracts thoroughly. I got the subscription when I was younger and living with my parents, so having the gym close was convenient. What I didn't see were the many clauses that try to dig through the wallets of their customers. I decided I wanted to cancel my subscription, so I called to get it taken care of. I was told I had to come in to sign a cancellation contract, so I did. I was billed one day ago, but they told me I had to give 30 days notice, so they not only charged me for this month, but they're going to charge me again next month.
