They never keep cleaning towels for machines stocked. Hit and miss when cam is there during week but never stocked on weekends which is a little more understandable but not acceptable. They need to figure it out I will leave gym after a year because of it. read more

The Manager Dom is a complete asshole. Hangs up the phone when he's frustrated. I have been trying to cancel my membership for 6 months but keep getting past due alerts. I have tried calling in but the manager either doesn't want to talk on the phone or just has no clue on what to do EVER. I'm embarrassed I worked out here and had to deal with this service. I would recommend turning the music playing throughout the facility off. 9 out of 10 people use and listen to their own music with headphones. The loud external music can be annoying when trying to listen to your own. I would recommend mimicking what the Anytime Fitness in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I cancelled my membership 9 months ago. The gym itself is okay. The equipment is a bit lacking and the music is entirely too loud. I did not use my membership enough to justify the payment, so I cancelled. After much round and round, I finally was able to speak to the manager when I took my written notice to cancel. He assured me that everything would be taken care of and that I did not owe any other amount. Fast forward to December when I get a notice in the mail that they have sent me to collections - for an amount they said I did not owe! No one tried to contact me once about it before shipping it off to collections. Don't waste your time or money at this facility. read more

Joined this gym when going to school in yakima. After graduation in 2017 and not having one of there gyms near me I called to cancel. Was informed it must be in writing so I sent the letter. Guess what they said they received no such letter. Now 3 years later I try to cancel again. I've tried calling the club for months no answer. Sent another letter. Nope nothing. So I have my credit card company quit paying them. Now they call me relentlessly and I talked to them and they say they are reaching out to the club. I'm so sick of this. Make it stop! DO NOT SIGN UP HERE!! RIPOFF ALERT. The gym is ok. Not a huge selection, but if you just want a quick no frills workout it's fine. However, they don't tell you when you sign up that you are on the hook for 18 months. Or well maybe they did, but they don't highlight that. Then they charge "enhancement" fees. So you won't always pay $41.50 a month which is high to begin with. Any way I would avoid it unless you don't have any other option. And BUYER BEWARE, if you try and cancel they will send you to collections - or at least threaten to do so. BTW - don't trust Cameron. He says he is the manager, but not sure if that is true. Really not a good gym. Has the equipment but it is super outdated and half the time the machine or equipment you're wanting to use is "out of order" for weeks. Pay way too much for such a terrible gym. I have gone to other gyms in other cities I've lived in and have paid less for a better membership. Never anyone working to ask questions to. I was recently running on a treadmill and there was dust flying down in my face from the fans above me. Really not a good gym, don't join. read more

We signed up and paid in full for six months..we figured we would know if we liked it by then. We did not sign up for their 18 month contract like that wanted us to. We added on a group class for 20 monthly and realized that we wouldn't be able to use the group class with our work schedule, so the club had us write a letter stating this to cancel the monthly fee. We did this and paid for the month that we used on our credit card....about 3 months later I see that Anytime Fitness is charging our credit card every month for the group class. I went in to Anytime and asked about it and they reassured me that that charge would go away. I went through my credit card and disputed the charges and they refunded my 3 months of charges after I had canceled the class. Today, I open up a collection notice...we have perfect credit! Anytime Fitness has turned us in to collections for the three months of group classes after we had submitted a cancel letter. Watch out on this club!! read more

I love working out at this gym it's always clean and the staff is so friendly and willing to answer any questions.

Company as a whole loves to take people's money. Their equipment is always broke down and I could never get a good workout in. I made the mistake of not shopping around and just settled on anytime since it was close to my home. I lived in Kent wa before moving here and previously went to LA fitness. I paid the same price for membership at LA fit however, LA fitness has a full size swimming pool a basketball court and raquetball courts. I'd stay far away from anytime if possible. I'm dying for my contract to end so I could join elsewhere. If your thinking about joining anytime, have somebody slap you back into reality asap! Anytime Fitness met my needs while I lived in Yakima for school. I didn't always find the equipment to be clean unfortunately. The guys in the free weight area who might have actually been high schoolers legit took over the area and seemed to draw an invisible line for the others to cross. In many occasions I would keep an eye on squat rack from a distance while warming up for leg day so at least 15 minutes and then walk over there to start my workout when one of the guys that was bench pressing would come over to say he was using it. What are you supposed to say to that? So I would say OK and move on and again you'd see it not being used. Just annoying. read more

I have really appreciated the convenience of the facility. It is always very clean and the machines I want are always in working order. In fact, I have never seen an "Out of Order" sign on anything contrary to a previous review. I signed up for some personal training time and was very happy with K. Renteria's help. He is very knowledgeable, very tuned in to your limitations and does a great job. He helped me tremendously and I will be signing up for more sessions in the near future. read more

I enjoyed the amenities of anytime fitness, there was always equipment available to use, and they started offering classes too - even though I don't do classes I thought that was a good thing to expand into. The bathrooms with showers were always clean and offered privacy which is always a plus. The only thing I didn't care for was the 30 days (and extra payment) to cancel. Overall I give them a 4.5 out of 5...consider adding steam sauna or hot tub for people who need to heal aching joints and bones. read more

!!!!!BEWARE!!!!! These guys are criminals. My wife signed up with Anytime Fitness Yakima and completed her 1 year membership contract. At the end of the contract period she called and asked that they cancel her membership, they said that they would, and we thought that was it. A few months later we noticed that they were still charging our credit card so we called Anytime Fitness and nobody will pick up the phone or return our voicemails. Finally we called our bank and they suggested that we cancel the card and get a new number so they couldn't steal our money anymore. Just recently we've received a letter from a collections agency claiming that we owe Anytime Fitness over a hundred dollars despite meeting the terms of our agreement and cancelling our membership thereafter. I know you're thinking that this is an isolated incident and it won't happen to you but it is not and it will happen to you next. Beware of this gym. They are dishonest and unethical. They will tell you one thing then do something different. It is almost impossible to cancel a membership wwith them. I have been dealing with canceling for 2 months now. My husband lost his job and we were forced to move to a different state to try and get employment. They don't care. They won't work with you at all. They told us there would be a $600 cancelation fee. They wouldn't work with us at all. We talked to multiple people and even corporate. Corporate can't do anything and the manager of the club in Yakima can't do anything either. We requested to speak to the owner but that never happened. Their customer service is the worst I have ever seen. Today I called the corporate billing to finally just pay the cancelation fee and quit fighting it. I had to get a loan just to pay the $600. The woman on the phone informs me that I owe for Sept and Oct and it has never been canceled. I did want the Yakima club asked me to do back in Sept. I went in there with a letter signed from me that I needed our membership canceled. She said her notes showed that the Yakima Anytime said they couldn't accept my cancellation letter???? Seriously??? So now I have left a message with them to fix this mess. They are a nightmare to deal with. I would never recommend anyone signing up for this gym. Ridiculous, dishonest company and management. I signed up at the Anytime Fitness on Summitview Ave and specifically said I was joining b/c I was interested in group classes. The kid at the desk told me that they didn't have classes there, but that the Anytime Fitness on Yakima Ave did. So i naively signed a contract b/c I trusted that he knew what he was talking about. Idiot I was, I went to the Yakima Ave location and guess what? - no classes. They told me there was a room with virtual classes - whatever the hell that is. So I never went back. Of course I got a letter from the collections agency saying that I owe them $278 now and I have to pay their lying, swindling company. I already gave them a $50 donation when I was lied to in the beginning, that should pay my penance for being an idiot in my opinion. Save your money and go to Planet Fitness, where $20 a month gets you more then these ppl have to offer, and where they at least tell you up front that they provide the bear minimum to get you low prices. Who the heck would pay $50 a month for no classes, a tiny facility, no child care, and no amenities? Ppl like me, who they lie to to lure them in. Save your money and stay away. read more
