My driver came 35 minutes late and when I called to Question their system I was met with the rudest dispatch/manager ever instead of being professional- belittling and condescending for just asking then hung up me (I was not yelling or anything) . Over 24 years of using them and this is how they treat people. I don't use Uber out of loyalty but if this is how they treat people it's no wonder others do. Perhaps complaints to the City will yield better results. Ridiculous

It is rare that I have to wait longer than 5-10 minutes for a ride. All of the drivers have been safe and get me from place to place in one piece. If there are any areas for improvement, I would say it is with the app: It could be simpler and more user friendly. For example, when using the app you have to manually select a pickup location. When choosing the pickup location the interface is very sensitive and is frustrating to use at times. I would suggest having your pickup location selected automatically using your GPS signal. This would be very helpful. Otherwise I think the app is useful. Thanks, and keep up the good work, guys!

I had to go pick up a rental car at 5:00 p.m. for a trip, so I booked a ride in advance (did this…read morein the morning) for 4:40 p.m. because it was a Friday, and I knew it would be busy. This was more than sufficient time to get me there on time, and I got a confirmation with a flat rate of just over $14.00. I waited for about 5 minutes after they were supposed to arrive, and got a text saying that the cars had been switched from one to another, but that it was on its way. I thought this was strange, but I waited. At one point, when the cab was about 15 minutes late, I called. I was told they were on their way. And every time I called the number I was told it was 1 minute away. My partner finally called the driver, who said he was on his way. We didn't get in the cab and on the road until 5:05, so I had to call the rental company and make sure they knew I was going to be late so I didn't lose my reservation. The driver was just a barrel of excuses that it was busy, but that's why I booked ahead, to avoid the Friday afternoon rush hour wait. My partner had to tell him the address three times for him to get the address right - an address that I had already input with the prebooking program. Then, while driving, he waited unnecessarily at a red light in the wrong lane and bumped my fare up even more. The flat rate (supposed perk of booking in advance) seemed to disappear, and my fare of just over $14.00 turned to almost $20.00. My partner has tried to call Co-op, but their answering machines are full and no one will seem to pick up the phone for a customer service complaint. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I've never been so angry with a service before, don't usually complain, never post reviews, and I hate getting that angry. I've seen so many other reviews like this one, and I would just tell anyone who asks to avoid Co-op at all costs. You will be kept waiting, bumped up in price by seemingly incompetent drivers and/or inconvenienced to the point of rage. Use Uber or another service.

He then drove very fast & carelessly. The amount shown was $48 but he charged us $58. I asked why & he said because it was a van which did not make any sense as we had a ride a week before in a van with another taxi company & we were only charged $44. We placed a call to pick up a patron at our business ( we use your service for rides longer than 10 minutes ). After placing the call, the patron was outside waiting when two other cabs arrived to drop off some patrons. By the time your driver showed up , the fare was gone... the driver then told us to eff off !!! and drove away. Look.. yes we called your service.. but we can not and do not control the actions of our patrons. They see a cab , they jump in... we cant tell them its not their cab. Anyway... being told to eff off has left me with a bad experience and I will never call your service again for anyone- even if the patron requests it , I will tell them there are better cab drivers. I simply can not believe that we were told to eff off by a driver- too bad I didnt get the cab number. A complaint will be filed though to the supervisor/ manager... they can look up who it was that was dispatched.

No problems, as they were prompt at the time I needed them. I just called an hour before I needed a pick up. The driver was friendly and had a good chat on the way home. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is that there was some confusion with the payment option. When it came time to pay, I was going to pay by credit card, however, I was informed he didn't have the portable machine. So we had to go back out to a bank by my place so I could withdraw cash. My driver found out later that, yes, could pay by CC, he just had to phone it in to the office. I will give him the benefit of the doubt, as he was new and was probably not made aware of this. I think the business just needs to invest in a couple of portable payment machines like their competition, as this may cause future confusion (the website states you can pay by MC/Visa). If I do use them again, I will just take out cash, as I'm not a fan of giving my credit card over the phone unless I really know the company. Other than that, I had no problem with using them. They charge a flat $40-50 for surrounding Edmonton area, so it cost me $50, compare that to my last cab ride from the same area back home and it cost $70! So more than reasonable price. Now, the other company (Dedicated Designated Drivers) would have cost me about $72 (you can put in your destination on their website to get a quote), but if you are going a shorter distance their minimum charge is only $33. So depending on your distance, you can decide which company you want to go with. Either way, please don't drink and drive and give these guys a call should you drive and then end up drinking.

He was friendly, cheerful, and extremely helpful. He pushed my cart to the vehicle, he unloaded the cart too. When we reached our destination, he helped unload and carried our groceries to the door. They get you from point A to point B without causing you any trouble. Do the math and what may seem a tad pricey at first is really no different than taking a cab both ways AND you get the security of knowing your car is safely at home. I've been using them since they began local operation decades ago and took a ride with driver Ben this morning. Even though I had not given their dispatch the amount of notice I normally would, Ben was at the pick-up location before me, he was courteous and polite, and I'd gladly request him by name in the future. Prestige might not be the least expensive option but they have large, clean SUVs (Ben drives a shiny new, black Escalade) , sedans and limos, all operated by dedicated, professional drivers. These are the sort of very knowledgeable, experienced drivers who make you glad you opted for their company. You can expect a flawless trip, every time!
