I think it's pretty cool that Greyhound has a stop in Katy, even though it really literally is just a gas station. There's no facilities or anything, and it's very expensive but it's cool that it stops here. Not my favourite gas station and compared to other Katy places and the convenience store, it is very overpriced. I guess the main selling point - or maybe the main reason why it's so expensive - is that this is where Greyhound stops when it comes to Katy, so sometimes you'll get a big crowd coming through, which is kind of funny, but that's been the main highlight for me.

They ruined the entire day for everyone, as they had about 100 buses lines up, but loaded them 1 AT A TIME! It took almost 3 hours to get on and drive 10 minutes to the base. We missed the start of the show, and then stood in line for an hour to return to the parking lot afterwards. It was a massive failure in common sense; all they had to do was open the busses, load up and leave. Even the drivers were frustrated. PLEASE do better, Getz. We drove 5 hours to attend the air show and paid $100 for front row seat, or we wouldn't have waited. Everyone was unhappy and you had your name on the back of your employees vests; not a good look for your company.

I rented a party bus for my daughter's senior prom on Sat Jan 27, and was embarrassed with the quality of the bus and service provided by this company. (The driver left our party stranded for 30 min and the bus looked like a remodeled city bus and the remodel was cheaply done.). Here is the sequence of events - I arrived early (2:00 pm) to meet the bus driver and drop off sodas for the bus ride and I immediately regretted not going with our local limo vendor. As I boarded the bus, the fake floor boards on the steps into the bus shifted and the bus smelled wet and muggy. I looked around and noticed a large puddle of water in the back of the buss floor. The driver asked me if I had anything to clean it up with so I grabbed a paper towel roll from my car so the girls dresses would not get wet. He said the water had likely leaked in from a "loose panel". I guess there is no walk through done by drivers to ensure the vehicles are clean and ready. At any rate they drove off and reached their dinner destination at 4:30 pm. The driver called me to ask what time he should be back to pick them up. I should have told him to stay ( I paid for. 2:30-8:30 pm ) but I thought he would be 10 min away so I said 6ish. I called him at 5:15 and told him that they were running ahead of schedule at the the dinner and asked him to return. He didn't arrive until 6:15 so the kids waited over 30 minutes for him to arrive. Who does this and thinks it's ok to drive away and not be within a short return distance? At any rate, after finally arriving and getting on the road for about 30 minutes the kids asked for a quick stop. The driver decides to get fuel after the kids are already done and ready to go. They waited another 15 minutes and watched the idiot try to use the wrong gas nozzle to pump gas after which one of the boys on the bus told him he needed to use the diesel nozzle. They finally left and arrived at the dance 20 min late. What the heck did he do while they were eating???? I called their dispatch office and asked for a "manager" that evening but was told I would get a call back Monday. No one called me so i called them and was able to talked to their manager (Last name Tarek I think). I shared the experience and told him I did not get the party bus service I paid for and was promised. He made excuses and told me to tell the parents that our kids really only waited for 15 minutes because I told him 6 . I told him that his response was unacceptable and he said he would consider how to respond and a week later still no call. So after week of waiting, I've decided to let others read my story and avoid anyone else getting fooled and be saved the embarrassment I felt as other parents heard the fiasco from their kids. Mind you this is all after I personally went to their business office to discuss the rental and expectations around safety and quality. In summary, no quality or excess with this company. Spend a little more and go with a reputable company. This driver has no business driving other people.
