Apache Eagle Ziprider is for those who may like a short ride with a view. The view of the lake is gorgeous after getting over the initial peak where you are sitting in the highest point. You get over the fear of heights as you are lowered into the middle of the lake. Only 1 minute but worth it. They will ask for reservations for weekends. I was able to drop in during the slower Monday. You have to go outside the hotel of the Inn of the Mountain Gods where the boat dock is. There, you will sign a waiver. Note:. YOU MUST WEAR CLOSED TOE SHOES TO RIDE. When you land, your feet is closer to the platform floor. read more
