DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!!!!…read more This shop is not good. They charge a ton for "diagnosing" problems. Which you are on the hook for even if you don't do the work. They claim it's part of being transparent, but was not at all. If they assume you know nothing about cars they will try to take you for whatever they can. Took it in for brake pad change, they charged $90 for "full break system diagnostic" and recommended to change pads and rotors (which I already told them was the issue). Brakes now squeak worse than when I took it in. Plus the ABS light is on (was not going in). So....expensive break job that actually made it worse. More concerning: they severed the ground wire from engine to body. Then they tucked the loose wire away so I wouldn't see it assuming I wouldn't know what it was. Totally unacceptable and dangerous. Pictures of the damage attached.

This was our second time bringing our car here and for sure the last. And now after reading reviews…read moreI think they were the reason why our car broke down only after a month after going there for the first time. Honestly, it was almost funny how insane some of the prices were. They tried to charge us for parts and labor like 3-5 times more than actual BMW dealers do. For example, a part that costs $500 on official BMW websites they told us is $1300, and labor for it was $2000. I really don't know how they come up with these numbers. Another thing, spark plugs that cost like $50 online they wanted $770 for them!! How did they even come up with this!? Plus insane labor price. Please be careful if you decide to take your car here. Do some research before agreeing to anything, because they SHAMELESSLY tried to take advantage of us. And I also regret paying $300 for the diagnostic check. The first time we came they did it for free, and now suddenly it's 300. Overall, not a good experience at all.

I have been a customer of Mavis Tires for the past 8 years. I greatly appreciated the service I…read morereceived & the honesty behind the services you offered. The Service Light came onto my dashboard on Friday, August 28 so I went online and booked an appointment for today @ 9:00. I arrived at 8:45 and took a seat to wait for my oil change & wipers to finish. At 10:30, I was approached by a service manager stating the tread was low on my two front tires and my wiper blades were worn. I was also encouraged to do a brake flush. I agreed to the tires and mentioned I had stated I needed wiper blades on the appointment when I booked it & when I arrived. The total given to me was $386. I stated the brake flush could wait until next time. I confirmed $386 for everything and he stated yes. I asked how much longer it would be and was told 1 hour. I was recently diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis and sitting for long periods of time becomes painful. At 11:40, the technician was still adjusting wiper blades. I'm running short on time as I had an 1:00 appointment and was becoming anxious. I asked again how long it would be. The same service manager told me he was done & backing out. I responded he's not backing out, he's still adjusting wiper blades. Please put the old ones back on. I was told sometimes they can be a pain in the butt. The back one was not changed out because they don't have them; which I'm fine, but tell me. At noon, after 3 1/2 hours I'm told I'm finished. Imagine my surprise when the total is now over $600!!!! I mentioned what the initial service manager mentioned and his response was I misunderstood. He did credit the oil change; however, imagine my surprise when I looked at the receipt and I was charged $84 per wiper blade!!! Is this the only one you carry??? Why was I not told of price of the wiper blades prior to putting $84 blades on my car...that's insane!! I also saw a $30 VIP charge for lifetime balancing of my tires. Since now all 4 tires have now been bought there, would that not happen anyway??? The final bill was $504.00. It's more than the money. It was miscommunication, sitting for 3 1/2 hours with an appointment, it was ineffective communication on charges and $84 wiper for EACH wiper blade. I seem to recall the motto at one time being we treat you like we would treat our mothers or sisters. It's unfortunate that motto has gone out the window. I won't be back.
