Red's has worked on ALL of our cars/trucks over the years and I will ONLY bring my car[s] to Red because they do QUALITY work and charge very REASONABLE rates. In the office, all of their certifications are on display. We TRUST that our cars will receive the very BEST service at Red's. We have had a/c work, oil change, computerized issues, brakes, tie-rods, suspension, tune-ups, starters, alternators, belts, battery issues, headlights, and more repaired at Red's. So.... Update. My business runs a small fleet of vans and trucks. One of them was "hot as hell" according to the driver. We took it to a local branded maintenance shop, and they wanted over $2k to repair the AC. So we arranged to drop it off at Reds - a 40 mile round trip - but they'd done such a good job on my car, I thought it was worth giving them another try. Anyway - they replaced the whole AC compressor and condenser unit in the car and it works like new again.... For $650 less than the "Boys" quotes us for the same work. My mother had her vehicle towed to Red's when it stopped running. I recommended Red's due to previous work they have done. They stated that the car had a broken fuel pump, a broken pin, and needed a new filter. They charged her $80 to look at the vehicle, and estimated almost $800 to fix the car. They also said the fuel pump was replaced previously, and whoever did the change did a "shoddy" job. Hearing all this, we knew it was all lies. My mother's ex husband has been a GM master technician for over 30 years, and knew everything about the vehicle: -The fuel pump has never been replaced- it was the factory original. - there is no filter in the fuel pump. We then had it towed to a mechanic friend of the family over 100 miles away who did the work for significantly cheaper. He confirmed the pin they said was broken was a break that just happened- and did not fail on its own. He suspects they broke it. In all- I lost all trust in this mechanic and do not recommend him to anyone! read more

I took my mother's 1997 Nissan Sentra car to have it check on some problems we noticed. Red's found the problem immediately, proposed a plan and fixed it. He also kept me informed of the progress several times. Yes, some people including myself find that Red is a little bit cold and limited to answers, but to be fair he is not there to make friends and he cannot give answers without inspecting the car. He does his job and he does it well. I consider that the price is fair because the job will is done right. I do recommend Red's anytime with no shame. About oil changes: any mechanic, with the magnitude of a clients that Red's had, will not waste the time for a person that walks in for an oil change.
