Apex Chiropractic is a single-doctor office. Dr. Jahnke was recommended to me by a coworker, who raved on and on about how helpful she was and how she took a holistic approach to wellness by also being able to offer nutritional support as well. I decided to go see Dr. Jahnke after experiencing some pretty intense neck discomfort, pain and having bizarre numbing in my hands/arms while sleeping.
I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Jahnke and her staff. She has two assistants who are patient, helpful, and informative. Her office is located not right on Winton Rd. It's easiest to turn onto Reynard and then right into the second driveway. There are two parking spots reserved for her patients right outside her office.
My first appointment with her was an assessment. She asked me to get some xrays done, and the 2nd visit I had with her we began treatment. Dr. Jahnke is excellent at explaining what she means, why she's doing what she's doing, and making sure that you're okay/comfortable with it.
Most visits consist of me working with her for about 15 minutes and then I go and then about 10 minutes of electrotherapy. I'm extremely ticklish (you'd think I would've grown out of it) and both Dr Jahnke and her assistants have a good laugh with me about once every other visit.
I have noticed a significant difference between when I started at the beginning of January and how I am now. I've got about 4 visits left and feel like I will be in a much better place than when I started. During my functional muscle assessment, we discussed some other issues other than the ones that brought me there, and we've been working on those, too.
I can't say enough good things. Dr. Jahnke is actually out of network for me, but I've continued to go because I believe I'm getting excellent care. I'd highly recommend her!! read more
