I've been going here for a few months, every two weeks. Check in is always quick and friendly. I like the ladies at the front desk, they are always nice to me. I don't think they get enough credit.I have a different therapist and PA from when I started. The PA resigned but I ended up with Mike, who is very down to earth and really listens. Same with Lisa. I'm glad I stayed because my old therapist just talked about herself and would rush my appointments. Phone appointments she would think of any reason to end our session early. I've been coming here for about two years and first of all, front desk staff is SO RUDE and unprofessional!! They're rude on the phone and in person they complain if you ask them anything while I sit in the waiting area i hear the two blondes complaining about stuff they have to do and people on the phones etc. I asked one to make copies of my file for me and heard her complaining about it when I was 3 feet away and she also didn't even ask for my ID!!! Someone else could have walked in and asked for a copy of MY file without me knowing. Also I changed therapists there about 3 times and they just don't seem to care to help, I also seen a psychiatrist that had me on a medication that wasn't what was best for me the new psychiatrist that I had just seen even told me that. I have been going to wayne for almost four years. The secretaries here are the dumbest and most incompetent people I have ever had to deal with. These idiots didn't send in my prescription for two weeks! I called and called. The stupid secretary actually told me Wayne has been cutting people off their meds without telling them...so maybe he did that to me. The drug I am on is one you CANNOT stop cold turkey! Long story short, today the secretary said she sent it in... for the third time. I go to the pharmacy... yep, nothing. So, I call Apex. The secretary tries to tell me she has to talk to the pharmacist (because she didn't realize I WAS standing in the pharmacy with the pharmacist)...the pharmacist even got nasty with this dimwitt! FINALLy I got my damn prescription...For two weeks I have been dizzy, having heart palpitations, sleepy, etc. I was on my way to calling 911 today! All for what? Apex, goodbye read more

I've been going to to see the doctors for 10 years or longer. I love this place the staff is so amazing they are all very helpful and very caring and I love them all! Chelsea the manger is so sweet and amazing! She has helped me soo much she truly an angel!! So yes I love this office and the staff! read more

I have no issues with the therapist or psychiatrist, however the front staff is extremely rude. There's been numerous occasions where they answer the phone, and sound like you're bothering them with a question. Also, in person, they're no better. If you're working up front, you may want to be kind to the people who're keeping you in business. Sad, but i'll be seeking my mental health else where. read more

Don't go here for therapy. ... Just your medicine. If that, I've had bad experiences; one after another after another. Don't waste your time. There really isn't many good places in the area, so I'm going to Royal Oak for therapy. It's like a were surrounded by doctor's who see us as a number, and they'll pick your insurance company to drain it dry. Go somewhere that cares, hopefully you will find one close. read more

I give it 2 stars because I see 2 people here...... One for therapy and one for medication. I love my therapist she is helpful and open and I would give her 5 stars. HOWEVER You will NEVER want to see Wayne Pomery for medication. He is Constantly late to his first appointment and is far behind on other appointments. I am talking about an hour or more. The front office way over schedules him. They do 2-3 people at the same time yet he takes forever in his appointments and not in a good way. Wayne is clearly miserable about it, he complains and sometimes rants about politics. Why don't I change? Because other medication therapist are similar from what I hear. This would also include him filling out paperwork to allow you to switch. If he can't make it on time what makes you think he's had any urgency in that. read more

The one star isn't for the therapist. I've been seeing Liz here for a year and she's lovely and a gem. It's Dr. Wayne and the rest of the staff behind the desk. They purposely overbook which makes you wait an extra hour to see the doctor. If you go up to the front desk and ask how much longer, they get sassy and rude. When going to a behavior center, you're looking for understanding and kind staff. These people could care less about your issue and will easily talk about you to the staff while you sit there. Trust me, if you're looking for a therapist or psychiatrist, do NOT go here. They're rude, slow and will still charge you if you leave your appointment even if you've been waiting for a hour after your original appointment time. read more

I had a insurance issue with my daughter being charged too much for her co-pay. I spoke with Chelsea the office manager and she was extremely helpful, pleasant and caring. The situation is being taken care of! The receptionist answered the phone ready and willing to assist me. My daughter's therapist Liz is AWESOME and has helped my daughter so much! I am blessed to have such a wonderful people in my daughter's life that are doing such a Great job! read more

I would not recommend this office. I was a patient there for a couple of years. The building is depressing and dumpy. Every time I went there I ALWAYS had as least an hour and a half wait to see Wayne. He would tell me, because he has seen the light, to meditate, use crystals etc to help with my problems. I am over 50 years old, don't you think I have tried everything under the sun to avoid medications. He was unprofessional and my appointment were over with quite fast, so I don't understand how he could always be so far behind. During COVID when he placed calls from his phone at home, I would not get the calls. Front office states it is because I have call block on, but they have no problem calling me. They don't return calls either. As of July 2021 he is still doing calls from home and of course I am not getting them. I'm done with this place. Maybe the other doctors there are good but they will not allow me to see another doctor there when I expressed that I would like to. When I called today, they said I needed an hour appointment since it had been a few months since we talked. If he couldn't reach me before, how will he for the next appointment?? He has reached me on the phone before. I told them goodbye, I will find another doctor. read more

I have been to other clinics and they are by far the best. I front desk is always nice and my doctor and therapist are the best. I will say sometimes there is a wait but wayne will always take longer with me if I need it. Kinda hard to kick someone out of your office when they are going through something. I guess some people forget that sometimes you have to wait to get good service. read more
