While she was doing my nails, I was like hey can you do my eyebrows those haven't been done in six months as my normal shop stopped doing them she said no problem took care of me right away no waiting and did an incredible job on my nails and my eyebrows! read more

I saw that apex was opened finally decided to walk in and give them a try, I got more than I bargained for. The front desk girl right off the bat was to amazing for words, and I'm an indecisive person when it comes to any descions, she had just had someone do her nails at lux so I liked what she had done and she showed me that's not all up there sleeves. I haven't been wowed in a long while. Lux has every option, every polish known to man, and the talent to not just provide all the options designs and colors but the service and talent to match. This will be my new nail salon from now on. The prices are fair as well to match what they can really do, they are very much artists. They aren't on their phones, they are true professionals, just holding up conversations while working with you on what you want. One of the things she asked me right away other than the shape was what I did for work, I work outside and always have my nails ruined, she catered to what I work with making them a little more durable. Very disappointed :( Went for a manicure with my mother while I was visiting from out of town. We wanted to try the salon since it's new in town and had some good reviews. We both wanted manicures, yet we basically just got our nails painted. No soaking of the hands, no massage, minimal attention to cuticles, etc. It felt like the nail tech had no clue how to properly do nails. There was gel polish all over my hands and they only removed it because I asked. Both of us have had many manicures/acrylics/pedicures so we know what to expect. We spent 40$ each for mediocre gel nails. I haven't even had the polish for a day and one fingers' has already came off!! Hence what motivated me to write this review. Two stars only because the staff was nice. DO NOT GO HERE FOR A MANICURE. I recommend probably anywhere else in town. read more

It has been years since I have visited a salon this nice. I was greeted as I walked in the door. The receptionist offered me a menu of services available. Apex is new and still adding services. zzzsáwawzI made an appointment for a gel fill and gel Pedi, fortunately, a spot was open and I was shown to the nail salon. Two walls of polish were my first stop. The colors were deep, sophisticated, and current. Once I chose the polishes, I was seated and offered a beverage. My nail technician was interested in what I wanted, asked some questions, AND made a suggestion about the base color for my French Tip. He was absolutely correct. My fingernails are perfect, shaped the way I wanted them. My pedicure, again I was asked what I wanted. My toes are perfect too. I simply love the color "Audry". The background music was soothing, and the overall energy of the salon allowed the walking "nerve" that I felt like I was when I entered the salon, to relax. I was taking deep breaths. What didn't happen? No televisions in every corner blasting a "news" program or sports. The polish choices were not mostly glitter or geared for a much youmger patron. The technicians acknowledged me, made eye contact, and they were interested in how my nails looked at the end of my appointment. Conversations were not between technicians or on their phones. My last nail appointment, the technician was on her phone the entire time. Apex offers private rooms for wedding, birthday, couples or girlfriends pedicure parties. Salon servces will be epanding to include hair and eyelashes. Having my nails done is a form of self care, a treat to have about an hour to myself. What a relaxing day. Greeted by friendly smiles. Diane ,my technician, was awesome. I felt like I was given the royal treatment. I had back scratcher dipped nails applied and a pedicure. I Iove the thought of the back scratcher nails as they can be filled rather than removed with acetone each time. Great day! read more

This place is awesome! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The facility is super clean and they do cool designs too. They have stamps and fun nail bling. I've had my nails done there a few times now and they have been great every time! Not to mention I got a complementary mimosa. I will definitely be back! read more

I've never had an issue getting my nails done here. But I won't be going back from how my mom was treated by a certain nail tech. She hardly gets her nails done so she didn't understand what coffin shape was. There was miscommunication after I had asked him if she could keep them square. He seemed upset which I understood a little since he had glued them all on and had already been cutting. Mind you not all of the nails had been cut to shape. But he proceeded to grab and squeeze her hand and start ripping them all off. My mom kept saying "ouch that hurts" to the nail tech. You could see his jaw clenching. He made one of her fingers bleed from her natural nail ripping with the fake one. I told her we didn't need to stay that we could go somewhere else but she wanted to be "somewhat" nice" about the situation. Throughout the whole time he kept his jaw clenched and talking to us with an attitude "mama picky too picky not good" "don't like picky" over a short plain white set. At the end he wanted to charge her 80 which made no sense cus I got the same set a week prior, they charged me 60. He said "mama waste time so extra charge" I said for losing 4 minutes? That's not fair you being too mean so rude to her" I gave them 65 and we left. I respect my mom wanting to be the bigger person but I'm not letting her be taken advantage of trying to price gouge because he got upset about doing his job. read more

This is the best experience I have ever had at a salon! It was very clean, spacious, and the employees are all very kind and polite. Diane gave me a full set of Back Scratchers AKA cat scratchers and they are amazingly strong and not heavy or thick like acrylic! Diane was very kind and knowledgeable of this product and she even gave us mimosas! Diane rocks and so does Apex Nails and Spa!!! read more

I decided to try out Apex today to get a pedicure. I felt welcomed right away. The pedicure options were explained to me and I was shown their extensive polish collection. I was uncertain of the color I wanted and Amanda helped me pick a gorgeous pink to compliment my skin tone. Amanda who did my toenails was friendly, precise, and did a great job.
