My interactions with Shawna the physical therapist and PT assistants were fantastic…read more My experience with Pittman Physical Therapy has led me to believe that they are not a financially trustworthy organization. On my first day of physical therapy, the lady at the front desk told me that she had looked up my insurance and that I hadn't met my deductible yet. I was informed that I would be charged $140 for the first visit and $100 for each of the following visit 7 visits. I was asked to sign some documentation that this billing information was correct and that I was responsible for looking up and confirming my insurance status. In the moment, this seemed wildly expensive and not correct, but I handed her my HSA card and paid for the first visit. The next day I was able to get in contact with my insurance company. They informed me that a claim had not been filed yet and that I did not have a deductible for physical therapy, but a co-pay. This information left me perplexed as it countered what I was told by the physical therapy office. I called and spoke with the front desk lady who had given me the initial wrong information. She told me that she had consulted with a generic website that showed her my insurance information. I asked her how she "knew" that my deductible was not met yet and her response deflected the question. I informed her that I did not have a deductible, but a co-pay, and again asked her about how she knew my deductible hadn't been met. She deflected again. I told her it felt like she had lied to me about my insurance information and she got very defensive saying, "I'm just a human and we all make mistakes." In my personal opinion, a mistake would have been just telling someone the wrong information, but to make up information and tell it to someone (and have greater financial gain) is frankly dishonest. At my next visit she had me sign a new financial agreement with the correct numbers on them. At my following visit, I asked the front desk lady for an itemized receipt of my first few visits (to give to my HSA). She snapped, I can't get that for you right now. However, by the time I finished the appointment she had provided me with an itemized receipt. On the day of my last visit, the front desk lady told me, "if we owe you anything, you'll get a check in the mail." A few days after my last visit I had the opportunity to leave an internal review of my experience. I was honest and fair in my review. I received a phone call that afternoon from someone within the company; he heard me out. However, before he finished the call, he asked me if there was anything he could do for me. I asked him to find out if I owed any money or was going to receive a check in return. He said he would let me know. It has now been over a month and I have not heard from Pittman physical therapy. My interactions with everyone, but the physical therapist and PT assistants, have been repeatedly unprofessional and suspicious and really make me have a hard time trusting Pittman Physical Therapy. I can't imagine I'm the only one this sort of behavior is happening with. I won't go back, nor do I recommend them.

I've just had one session so far - so I'd like to update this after the end of our sessions - but I am so impressed with Anna! You can tell she cares a great deal about her patients and about her line of work. I felt like "man, I am in the right place." PT work is difficult because you are retraining your body to do stuff it should be doing. FRUSTRATING! But Anna breaks it down into bite-sized pieces that you can manage. Thank. God. For. That!!!! I couldn't recommend this place and this physical therapist enough!

However Dr. Lendermon is really fantastic and replaced my son's humerus after a bad car accident and performed a minesectomy on my knee on an old skiing injury. She made both of completely better and did excellent post operative care. She has been our orthopod for 20+ years and really knows her stuff! They have a crack staff and perform complete orthopedic and sports medicine services right down to making wedges for your shoes and physical therapy. Highly recommended!!!

She's warm, caring, and practical, and her priority is to get you right as quickly as possible. While that sounds like what everyone in her field should be doing, she is truly exceptional. I have been seeing her for about 4 years now, and through that time, she has helped me with knee, foot, and hamstring injuries. I was first referred to Lendermon Sports Medicine by someone who Dr. Lendermon had been able to resolve help with a leg injury without surgery. She was able to do the same thing for me with a knee injury - a brace instead of the surgery recommended by a well-known local orthopedic firm. Since then, she has helped with a fractured foot, finding damage another doctor missed and helping to treat it appropriately, as well as hamstring issues. Each time, she is knowledgeable and genuinely caring. Sometimes the wait can be a little bit, as with all doctors, but she takes the time with each patient to make sure she gets it right. It is well worth it.

Great Therapy - from a Great Therapist…read more I had had surgery a month or so before my surgeon referred me to Results for help in the healing process. Jill was quite good at knowing what exercises and lifestyle adjustments I needed to make to begin the healing process. We got along great from the get go. In fact, all of the staff are easy to get along with. I gotta warn you though, guys, it's all women - wait a minute, that was not a bad thing after all. Each time we met, not only did Jill make sure I knew what I needed to do - she gave me "homework" - more "stuff" to do before my next visit. As I have included these exercises in my daily routine, I have begun my healing process. Although my therapy sessions are over now, Jill told me that I could call her if I had questions later. All in all, I learned many skills and techniques during my sessions that will help me in the weeks ahead. If you are looking for a place to receive Physical Therapy, consider going to Results - and you'll get good "results" from pleasant people.

However, I mainly only saw the physical therapist's assistant, Lindsay, which was different from other PT clinics I've been to. Lindsay was very rude and rushed me in and out as quick as she could for every appointment. One time, she even went as far as to clap at me and raise her voice to try and get my attention from across the room while she was with another patient at the same time.
