My interactions with Shawna the physical therapist and PT assistants were fantastic. My experience with Pittman Physical Therapy has led me to believe that they are not a financially trustworthy organization. On my first day of physical therapy, the lady at the front desk told me that she had looked up my insurance and that I hadn't met my deductible yet. I was informed that I would be charged $140 for the first visit and $100 for each of the following visit 7 visits. I was asked to sign some documentation that this billing information was correct and that I was responsible for looking up and confirming my insurance status. In the moment, this seemed wildly expensive and not correct, but I handed her my HSA card and paid for the first visit. The next day I was able to get in contact with my insurance company. They informed me that a claim had not been filed yet and that I did not have a deductible for physical therapy, but a co-pay. This information left me perplexed as it countered what I was told by the physical therapy office. I called and spoke with the front desk lady who had given me the initial wrong information. She told me that she had consulted with a generic website that showed her my insurance information. I asked her how she "knew" that my deductible was not met yet and her response deflected the question. I informed her that I did not have a deductible, but a co-pay, and again asked her about how she knew my deductible hadn't been met. She deflected again. I told her it felt like she had lied to me about my insurance information and she got very defensive saying, "I'm just a human and we all make mistakes." In my personal opinion, a mistake would have been just telling someone the wrong information, but to make up information and tell it to someone (and have greater financial gain) is frankly dishonest. At my next visit she had me sign a new financial agreement with the correct numbers on them. At my following visit, I asked the front desk lady for an itemized receipt of my first few visits (to give to my HSA). She snapped, I can't get that for you right now. However, by the time I finished the appointment she had provided me with an itemized receipt. On the day of my last visit, the front desk lady told me, "if we owe you anything, you'll get a check in the mail." A few days after my last visit I had the opportunity to leave an internal review of my experience. I was honest and fair in my review. I received a phone call that afternoon from someone within the company; he heard me out. However, before he finished the call, he asked me if there was anything he could do for me. I asked him to find out if I owed any money or was going to receive a check in return. He said he would let me know. It has now been over a month and I have not heard from Pittman physical therapy. My interactions with everyone, but the physical therapist and PT assistants, have been repeatedly unprofessional and suspicious and really make me have a hard time trusting Pittman Physical Therapy. I can't imagine I'm the only one this sort of behavior is happening with. I won't go back, nor do I recommend them. read more

This group of therapists are exceptional! I’ve worked with seven therapist and haven’t had a bad therapist yet! They create a fun and uplifting atmosphere and are very friendly and caring. If you start hurting again they work and do special things to help you feel better. I will never go anywhere else! read more

I highly recommend Pittman Physical Therapy in Collierville. i went there in 2021 for therapy following a knee replacement. I am back there now following the replacement of my other knee. The therapists are very knowledgeable and concerned for their patients. The whole staff is friendly, addresses you by name, and they truly listen to you! I know that anytime I may need this type of medical care in the future, this is the group that I will turn to. They get the results and healing we are all looking for! read more

Back problems have always caused me problems. A MRI revealed 5 bulging discs. Went to Pittman Physical Therapy in Collierville. I began feeling relief within a few visits. The staff is helping me build my core which helps my back. We are working on rebuilding the strength in my legs. Stephanie, Ryan and Leigh have been so attentive and supportive. They not only help with my physical challenges but are in tune with my mental issues. I could never have found a better facility. They are A+! read more

Very good experience for my 13 year old daughter. She plays volleyball and has had a few injuries that needed to be addressed. They worked around her school and practice schedule, plus have gotten us in quickly when needed. Highly recommend! read more

I hurt my shoulder ( tear in my rotator cuff) and the dr recommended physics therapy. A friend told me about Pittman and said Jeremy did a great job for him. When I went , I found the office staff to be friendly and professional. Jeff Edwards did my evaluation. He gave me a lot of information --explaining everything that needed to be done to get my arm back in top shape. It was nice to be given informations and have my questions answered. My therapist was Brad Apple. He pushed my limits but his workouts and suggestions really helped. He was personable, kind and thorough. He always wanted my impute and listened to what I had to say. Mia also worked with me. She did a great job. Today was my last day--Six weeks of therapy and my shoulder is well on its way back to 'normal'. read more

Do dry needling if you have a chronic consistent pain in 1 spot. Years of pain in my shoulder that would only come on when I ran went away completely after just ONE 12 minute session for $35! I hate needles but it was definitely worth it! Other than that, I went 8-10 times and didn't feel any results... it's tough with PT because unless you do the exercises they give you on your own on the days you're not there, nothing much happens. Everyone was really nice and tried their best, but I'm finding that personal training with someone who has a physical therapy background is what's going to get me stronger. read more
