However, two weeks after signing the contract and handing over a deposit, they suddenly claimed the project would now cost $29K. My key Issues: Bait-and-Switch Pricing: The final quote was more than double the original agreed-upon price with vague and VERY inconsistent reasoning. Vanishing Deposit: When I chose to cancel due to the massive price hike, they claimed my entire deposit had already been "used up" on excavation. Lack of Integrity: They committed to a budget just to get the signature, only to move the goalposts immediately after. We are currently pursuing legal action to address these practices. This company is simply not worth the stress or the financial risk. I met many reputable masonry and concrete companies during my bidding phase--I strongly suggest you look elsewhere, you've been warned.

The very next morning, as promised, a tech rang me first thing to let me know they were on the way. Aiden and his assistant not only did an excellent job cleaning my gutters, but took pictures and video of trouble spots and a soffit that had some damage. Aiden explained what was causing the problem and provided some potential solutions. They then did a fantastic job cleaning up and even cleared off my entire deck! I was more than respectful and asked for a small dent repair throughout my home on my trimming. They cost me $5000 for a $800 job! I communicated to the owner Jef immediately the same night the job was complete where I saw issues. They were at my house until 10pm at night for 2 days in a row trying to recover their screw up. Only reason I didn't notice everything right away is they were done so freakin late. Something that should have taken a 3-4 hours took them 2, 10 hour days. As soon as I did a walkthrough the following day I saw how poor of a job this was. They were even unprofessional to pour the old paint water and remains down my sinks and drain! They didn't tape the areas, painted over all trim on to the walls and now I have to get the whole wall painted. Even we're sloppy to paint on my hardwood floors. The owner made false promises to come rectify the issue and always had an excuse. Now that I asked them to fix it now he wants to say well you paid and the contract is final even though I presented the problem within the 2 weeks after service there within the contract to advise them of the issues. I literally showed him that night and the very next day. Super unprofessional company and I will never recommend them to anyone. Sad part is I have at least 50k worth of work that they screwed up from not rectifying a $800 job. These kids need to get it together and I will be sewing this company. They could have either fixed it or refunded my money and those chose not to do either. He even tried to blame the previous painters on their poor job as well yet this trim job had nothing to do with the spot job on the walls. Completely different areas. Very poor service and never use this company. So I've attached the entire conversation throughout the process and pictures of the damages. You see I was super professional, tried to accommodate and be understanding. Gave them plenty of time to fix this and here is how it ended. It was a renovation of the kitchen, living area and bathroom, HVAC and On-demand Hot Water. Plus some outside work - pouring a concrete pad for gazebo and RV Port. While I personally like everyone that we worked with, we did have some problems during construction. Demolition workers almost removed the support beam to the house before my husband asked them to stop and check with contractor. Each time we brought a concern to the foreman, the answer was always the same, "What do you want me to do?" The answer was always the same, "I want you to fix it." This included: Kitchen cabinets that were installed 2 inches from the ceiling. Kitchen island was off center and was only fixed when my husband measured and showed them the discrepancy. The concrete pour for the gazebo was not framed correctly and needed a second pour of concrete. One corner is still not square. The joint between the pours is now cracking and the owner has stopped communicating. Concrete overflow was scattered in the far backyard and was never cleaned up. The gazebo walls were installed backwards. One door they installed has a huge gap and let in lots of cold winter air. They were unwilling to run an electric line to the kitchen island because they would have to drill into the concrete slab. No drop cloth was put down when they were drilling new holes in the ceiling for the HVAC vents. After about 10 months, the grout in the bathroom and kitchen was cracking. Glue from the tile dried on the outside of the tile and looked unsightly. The contractor gave us a one-year warranty, and some things were fixed, but they have stopped communicating.
