ZERO Customer appreciation. I always had the perception Chris Rivas was one of the best in the…read moreValley. I tow Motorcycles for a living and he was always the shop I recommended to my customers and spoke highly of. I usually do all my own repairs but I needed help with my transmission, so I went to Chris. From the second I walked in the door I had a poor experience. I worked and spoke with Chris Rivas himself. He had this attitude that I wasn't worth his time, and that I was bugging him. Wouldn't give me the time of day to answer my questions or give me his time. He was a huge jerk. I figured maybe he was having a bad day so I still left my transmission with him. After patiently waiting on parts and Chris to finish the job. He called me and said it was ready. I live 1 hour away in the mountains so I had my father pick up my transmission for me cause he was in town. Chris, not knowing that he was my father proceeded to accuse me of trying pull something shady and that I hadn't payed. (He never asked for payment upfront) so I receive my transmission and he put on my original stock Harley sprocket when I had provided him with a brand new aftermarket chain sprocket and spacer. Chris acknowledged that he messed up and forgot that I wanted the chain sprocket and misplaced my parts. As frustrated as I was, I still was cordial with Chris because I know this was a small job compared to his Racing clients. So the next day I had to drive another hour to bring him back my transmission so he could install the proper parts. Plus another hour drive back home. 2 hour round trip. I arrived and Chris immediately started working on my transmission. A few minutes pass and he comes to the front of the shop. Shoves my transmission in a box then into my arms, and is rushing me out the door. I have severe ADHD so when he did this everything I wanted to ask slipped my mind, I had questions for him and since I had the inconvenience of bringing my transmission back because he did not finish the job I hired him to do. I would expect at least 5 or 10 minutes of his time. So I walked back into his shop. Asked for Chris, I can hear him from the front laughing and talking crap about me in the back. I began to ask my questions and again he was huge Jerk. He even got heated and began to insult me saying I was too back and forth. Well sorry dude, when your a douche and rushing people out of your shop it's not very welcoming. And I will NOT be recommending this shop to any of my customer's and I will now share anyone getting a bike towed to your shop my experience. I looked up to you, it was intimidating to talk to you because of the respect I had for you and you made me feel like crap. I have a rich man's bike on a poor man's budget. If you didn't want to do the job then say so. I was always respectful and cordial but you my friend have ZERO customer service skills and ZERO respect for your customers. His wife who works in the front was very polite and nice. He could learn a thing or two from her. Before Towing I worked at a Harley Dealership 4 years, I also worked and was General Manager for Cycle Gear for 6 years. This is by far the worst experience I've had with any motorcycle shops

Worst Customer Service in the world. His slogan on the back of his truck for this business was…read moredrive in, drive out one day service. Took my bike in to get a new tire and oil change, takes the key, calls me up 2pm and says he needs to keep it overnight, I ask why, he says ok will try to get it done, then calls back half hour later saying he can't separate the hub because I need new parts in the rear end and is why he is having issues removing. Told him I don't think so, it's running just fine, Tell him put it back together and I will pick it up, he says ok, I will try to get going. Calls back at 6ish and says come pick up your bike. Go to pick it up, he comes out hands me one of my saddle bags and says here you can put this on, I said no, you finish your work. Pay him and drive home, oil light going on and off, Call the next day and say, hey did you put oil in this, yeah sure he replies, I check it when I get home, I see no oil in the window, even when leaning over. Go to store to by quart of oil, barely shows in window with it leaning over but light is off now, take it back to have him check it, tells me you must be leaking it. It never leaked, no oil in driveway, This business try to sell me something I did not need, did not clean up after service, oil all over pipes, tire is on, no problem, worst oil change I have ever seen, he is lucky my bike made it home without ruining the engine. Price was fair although I found the tire 20 bucks cheaper and I had to pay for a quart of oil to get back to his shop to fill it the rest of the way up. He lies, told me when I called about the oil that he probably didn't start it, upon taking it back to him, it had to have oil in it, when I started it the light didn't come on, But you told me you didn't start it, Oh yeah, maybe I didn't he replies. Bottom Line: If you like your bike, don't take it here, it will come back dirty, no oil. This guy did not apologize for his mistakes.
